A novel extended Lindley lif.time model that exhibits unimodal or decreasing density shapes as well as increasing,bathtub or unimodal-then-bathtub f.ilure rates, named the Marshall-Olkin-Lindley (MOL) model is *** this research, using a progressive Type-II censored, various inf.rences of.the MOL model parameters of.if. are introduced. Utilizing the maximum likelihood method as a classical approach, the estimators of.themodel parameters and various reliability measures are investigated. Against both symmetric and asymmetric lossf.nctions, the Bayesian estimates are obtained using the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) technique with theassumption of.independent gamma priors. f.om the f.sher inf.rmation data and the simulatedMarkovian chains,the approximate asymptotic interval and the highest posterior density interval, respectively, of.each unknownparameter are calculated. Via an extensive simulated study, the usef.lness of.the various suggested strategies isassessedwith respect to some evaluationmetrics such as mean squared errors, mean relative absolute biases, averageconf.dence lengths, and coverage percentages. Comparing the Bayesian estimations based on the asymmetric lossf.nction to the traditional technique or the symmetric loss f.nction-based Bayesian estimations, the analysisdemonstrates that asymmetric loss f.nction-based Bayesian estimations are pref.rred. f.nally, two data sets,representing vinyl chloride and repairable mechanical equipment items, have been investigated to support theapproaches proposed and show the superiority of.the proposed model compared to the other f.urteen lif.timemodels.

In this editorial,we discuss the article in the World Journal of.*** article conducts a meta-analysis of.the diagnostic accuracy of.the urea breath test(UBT),a non-invasive method f.r detecting Helicobacter pylori(***)inf.ction in *** is based on radionuclide-labeled *** methods,both invasive and non-invasive,are available f.r diagnosing *** inf.ction,inclu-ding endoscopy with biopsy,serology f.r immunoglobulin titers,stool antigen analysis,and *** guidelines recommend UBTs as the primary choice f.r diagnosing *** inf.ction and f.r reexamining af.er eradication *** is used to be the f.rst choice non-invasive test due to their high accuracy,specif.city,rapid results,and ***,its perf.rmance remains unaf.ected by the distribution of.*** in the stomach,allowing a high f.ow of.patients to be *** its widespread use,the perf.rmance characteristics of.UBT have been inconsistently described and remain incompletely *** are two UBTs available with f.od and Drug Administration approval:The 13C and 14C *** tests are af.ordable and can provide real-time *** may pref.r the 13C test because it is non-radioactive,compared to 14C which uses a radioactive isotope,especially in young children and pregnant *** there was heterogeneity among the studies regarding the diagnostic accuracy of.both UBTs,13C-UBT consistently outperf.rms the *** makes the 13C-UBT the pref.rred diagnostic ***,the provided f.ndings of.the meta-analysis emphasize the signif.cance of.precise considerations when choosing urea dosage,assessment timing,and measurement techniques f.r both the 13C-UBT and 14C-UBT,to enhance diagnostic precision.

In the restructured electricity market,microgrid(MG),with the incorporation of.smart grid technologies,distributed energy resources(DERs),a pumped-storage-hydraulic(PSH)unit,and a demand response program(DRP),is a smarter and more reliable electricity *** consists of.gas turbines and renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic systems and wind *** bidding strategies,prepared by MG operators,decrease the electricity cost and emissions f.om upstream grid and conventional and renewable energy sources(RES).But it is inef.icient due to the very high sporadic characteristics of.RES and the very high outage *** solve these issues,this study suggests non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ(NSGA-Ⅱ)f.r an optimal bidding strategy considering pumped hydroelectric energy storage and DRP based on outage conditions and uncertainties of.renewable energy *** uncertainty related to solar and wind units is modeled using lognormal and Weibull probability ***-based DRP is used,especially considering the time of.outages along with the time of.peak loads and prices,to enhance the reliability of.MG and reduce costs and emissions.

Any biogas produced by the anaerobic f.rmentation of.organic materials has the advantage of.being an environmentally f.iendly ***,the relatively low calorif.c value of.such gases makes their ef.ective utilization in practical applications relatively *** present study considers the addition of.hydrogen as a potential solution to mitigate this *** particular,the properties of.turbulent dif.usion jet f.ames and the related pollutant emissions are investigated numerically f.r dif.erent operating *** related numerical simulations are conducted by solving the RANS equations in the f.ame of.the Reynolds Stress Model in combination with the f.amelet *** ef.ects are also taken into account and the combustion kinetics are described via the GRI-Mech 3.0 reaction *** considered hydrogen f.el enrichment spans the range f.om 0%to 50%in terms of.*** varies between 1 and 10 *** results show that both hydrogen addition and pressure increase lead to an improvement in terms of.mixing quality and have a signif.cant ef.ect on f.ame temperature and *** also reduce CO_(2) emissions but increase NOx *** NO is shown to be the predominant NO f.rmation mechanism.

Inf.uence of.Various Earth-Retaining Walls on the Dynamic Response Comparison Based on 3D Modeling

The present work aims to assess earthquake-induced earth-retaining(ER)wall *** study is on the dynamics analysis of.various earth-retaining wall designs in hollow precast concrete panels,reinf.rcement concrete f.cing panels,and gravity-type earth-retaining *** f.nite element(f.)simulations utilized a 3D plane strain condition to model f.ll-scale ER walls and numerous nonlinear dynamics *** seismic perf.rmance of.dif.erentmodels,which includes reinf.rcement concrete panels and gravity-type and hollowprecast concrete ER walls,was simulated and examined using the f. *** also displays comparative studies such as stress distribution,def.ection of.the wall,acceleration across the wall height,lateral wall displacement,lateral wall pressure,and backf.ll plastic *** components of.the created ER walls were f.und throughout this research *** is a granular reinf.rcement backf.ll,while the other is a wall-f.cing panel and base *** dynamic response ef.ects of.varied earth-retaining walls have also been *** was discovered that the f.cing panel of.the model signif.cantly impacts the earthquake-induced displacement of.ER *** proposed analytical model’s validity has been evaluated and compared with the reinf.rcement concrete f.cing panels,gravity-type ER wall,scientif.cally available data,and American Association of.State Highway and Transportation Of.icials(AASHTO)guidelines results based on f. *** results of.the observations indicate that the hollow pref.bricated concrete ER wall is the most f.asible option due to its lower displacement and high-stress distribution compared to the two *** methodology and results of.this study establish standards f.r f.ture analogous investigations and prof.ssionals,particularly in light of.the increasing computational capabilities of.desktop computers.

Landmines continue to pose an ongoing threat in various regions around the world,with countless buried landmines af.ecting numerous human *** detonation of.these landmines results in thousands of.casualties reported worldwide ***,there is a pressing need to employ diverse landmine detection techniques f.r their *** ef.ective approach f.r landmine detection is UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)based AirborneMagnetometry,which identif.es magnetic anomalies in the local terrestrial magnetic *** can generate a contour plot or heat map that visually represents the magnetic f.eld *** the ef.ectiveness of.this approach,landmine removal remains a challenging and resource-intensive task,f.aughtwith *** computing,on the other hand,can play a crucial role in critical drone monitoring applications like landmine *** processing data locally on a nearby edge server,edge computing can reduce communication latency and bandwidth requirements,allowing real-time analysis of.magnetic f.eld *** enables f.ster decision-making and more ef.icient landmine detection,potentially saving lives and minimizing the risks involved in the ***,edge computing can provide enhanced security and privacy by keeping sensitive data close to the source,reducing the chances of.data exposure during *** paper introduces the MAGnetometry Imaging based Classif.cation System(MAGICS),a f.lly automated UAV-based system designed f.r landmine and buried object detection and *** have developed an ef.icient deep learning-based strategy f.r automatic image classif.cation using magnetometry dataset *** simulating the proposal in various network scenarios,we have successf.lly detected landmine signatures present in themagnetometry *** trained models exhibit signif.cant perf.rmance improvements,achieving a maximum mean average precision value of.97.8%.

Solar-driven hydrogen production f.om seawater attracts great interest f.r its emerging role in decarbonizing global energy consumption. Given the complexity of.natural seawater content, photocatalytic vapor splitting of.ers a low-cost and saf. solution, but with a very low solar-to-hydrogen conversion ef.iciency. With a f.cus on cutting-edge photothermal–photocatalytic device design and system integration, the recent research advances on vapor splitting f.om seawater, as well as industrial implementations in the past decades were reviewed. In addition, the design strategies of.the key processes were reviewed, including vapor temperature and pressure control during solar thermal vapor generation f.om seawater, capillary-f.d vaporization with salt repellent, and direct photocatalytic vapor splitting f.r hydrogen production. Moreover, the existing laboratory-scale and industrial-scale systems, and the integration principles and remaining challenges in the f.ture seawater-to-hydrogen technology were discussed.

The United States is in the throes of.a severe opioid overdose epidemic,primarily f.eled by the pervasive use of.f.ntanyl and the emerging threat of.xylazine,a veterinary sedative of.en mixed with *** high potency and long duration of.f.ntanyl is compounded by the added risks f.om xylazine,heightening the lethal danger f.ced by opioid *** such as enhanced surveillance,public awareness campaigns,and the distribution of.f.ntanylxylazine test kits,and naloxone have been undertaken to mitigate this ***-related overdose deaths persist despite these ef.orts,partly due to inconsistent policies across states and resistance towards adopting harm reduction strategies.A multif.ceted approach is imperative in ef.ectively combating the opioid overdose *** approach should include expansion of.treatment access,broadening the availability of.medications f.r opioid use disorder,implementation of.harm reduction strategies,and enaction of.legislative ref.rms and diminishing stigma associated with opioid use disorder.

A new technique of.monsplasty as an adjunctive procedure in cases of.abdominoplasty:A prospective clinical trial

Background:No standard monsplasty technique has existed until *** various monsplasty methods have been described,they exhibit high complication rates with sparse postoperative *** that used pubic suspension techniques did not describe exact anatomical landmarks f.r the mons *** study aimed to improve the aesthetic and f.nctional appearance of.the pubic region with long-term results f.r all grades of.pubic ptosis or bulging with abdominoplasty and provide exact anatomical points to anchor the mons to the rectus ***:This non-randomized prospective clinical trial included 30 patients with various degrees of.abdominal wall laxity between December 2017 and September *** surgical procedure was perf.rmed f.r f.male patients with pendulous abdomen,pubic ptosis or bulging,body mass index≤35 kg/m^(2),and age 18–60 *** patients were f.llowed f.r up to one year;patient satisf.ction was assessed bef.re and af.er surgery regarding aesthetic results and impact on outf.ts,hygiene,and sexual ***:The marginal homogeneity test revealed a statistically signif.cant patient satisf.ction rate regarding outf.ts,sexual f.nction,hygiene,and *** postoperative complications,seroma(one case)was managed by aspiration,and one case of.wound dehiscence was managed conservatively with ***:This study recommends a quick and reproducible monsplasty technique with a low complication rate,a technique that helps determine specif.c anatomical landmarks f.r anchoring the mons to the rectus *** this technique with abdominal contouring is advisable f.r optimal aesthetic results and maintained lymphatic drainage in the pubic region.

Standardization of.meibomian gland dysf.nction in an Egyptian population sample using a non-contact meibography technique

AIM:To develop normative data f.r meibomian gland dysf.nction(MGD)parameters,using non-contact meibography technique of.Sirius Costruzione Strumenti Of.almici(CSO)machine,in an Egyptian population ***:Observational,cross-sectional,analytic study,in which 104 Egyptian volunteers were *** upper lids were examined,using“Sirius CSO”*** eyelid was given a degree of.meibomian gland loss(MGL),which was calculated by the sof.ware of.the ***:Mean percentage MGL in right upper lid was of.30.9%±12.6%,and that of.lef. upper lid was 32.6%±11.8%.Thirty-f.ur volunteers(32.7%)had f.rst-degree MGL in their right upper lid,and 67.3%had second-degree *** volunteer(1%)had zero-degree MGL in lef. upper lid,28(26.9%)had f.rst-degree loss,and 75(72.1%)had second-degree *** of.MGL in right upper eyelid was not related to age,but degree of.MGL in lef. upper eyelid increased with *** was statistically signif.cant dif.erence between both genders f.r degree of.MGL in right eye(P=0.036)and in lef. eye(P=0.027).CONCLUSION:Noncontact meibography is a usef.l non-invasive tool f.r diagnosing *** is diagnosed in 100%of.apparently normal individuals;26.9%-32.7%of.which have f.rst-degree MGL,and 67.3%-72.1%have second-degree MGL.
