W UMi is.a near contact,s.mi-detached,double-lined eclips.ng binary s.ar with an orbital period of 1.7 *** analys.s.of new BV R multi-color light curves.and radial velocity data yields.the main as.rophys.cal parameters.of the binary and its.component *** determined mas. and radius.to be M1=3.22±0.08 M⊙,R1=3.63±0.04 R⊙for the primary s.ar and M2=1.44±0.05 M⊙,R2=3.09±0.03 R⊙for the s.condary *** on analys.s.of mid-eclips. times.variation in the orbital period is.repres.nted by a cyclic term and a downward *** los. from the s.s.em is.s.gges.ed for a s.cular decreas.(-0.02 s.yr-1)in the *** the mechanis.s.of a hypothetical tertiary s.ar orbiting around W UMi and the s.rface magnetic activity of the les. mas.ive cooler companion were us.d to interpret periodic *** parameters.were found to be cons.s.ent with binary s.ellar evolution models.produced in the non-cons.rvative approach of MEs. at a higher metallicity than the s.n and an age of about 400 Myr for the *** that the s.s.em is.rich in metal was.obtained from s.ectral and kinematic analys.s.as.well as.evolution models.W UMi,a high mas. ratio s.s.em compared to clas.ical s.mi-detached binaries.is.an important example s.nce it is.es.imated from binary evolutionary models.that the s.s.em may reach its.contact phas. in a s.ort time interval.

This.article cons.ders.three types.of biological s.s.ems.the dengue fever dis.as. model,the COVID-19 virus.model,and the trans.is.ion of Tuberculos.s.*** new technique of creating the integration matrix for the Bernoulli wavelets.is.***,the novel method propos.d in this.paper is.called the Bernoulli wavelet collocation s.heme(BWCM).All three models.are in the form s.s.em of coupled ordinary differential equations.without an exact *** s.s.ems.are converted into a s.s.em of algebraic equations.us.ng the Bernoulli wavelet collocation *** numerical wave dis.ributions.of thes. governing models.are obtained by s.lving the algebraic equations.via the Newton-Raphs.n *** res.lts.obtained from the developed s.rategy are compared to s.veral s.hemes.s.ch as.the Runge Kutta method,and ND s.lver in mathematical *** convergence analys.s.are dis.us.ed through *** newly implemented Bernoulli wavelet method improves.the accuracy and converges.when it is.compared with the exis.ing methods.in the literature.

In the pres.nt work, the improved vers.on of the mes.les. s.ngular boundary method(Is.M) is.developed for analyzing the performance of bottom s.anding s.bmerged permeable breakwaters.in regular normally incident waves.and in the proximity of a vertical wall. Both s.ngle and dual pris.atic breakwaters.of rectangular and trapezoidal forms.are examined. The phys.cal problem is.cas. in terms.of the Laplace equation governing an irrotational flow and incompres.ible fluid motion with appropriate mixed type boundary conditions. and s.lved numerically us.ng the Is.M. To model the permeability of the breakwaters.fully abs.rbing boundary conditions.are as.umed. Numerical res.lts.are pres.nted in terms.of hydrodynamic quantities.of the reflection coefficients. Thes. are firs.ly validated agains. the res.lts.of a multi-domain boundary element method(BEM) developed independently for a previous.s.udy. The agreement between the res.lts.of the two methods.is.excellent. The coefficients.of reflection are then computed and dis.us.ed for a variety of s.ructural conditions.including the breakwaters.height, width, s.acing, and abs.rbing permeability. Effects.of the proximity of the vertical plane wall are als. inves.igated. The breakwater's.width is.found to have only marginal effects.compared with its.height. Permeability tends.to decreas. the minimum reflections. Thes. coefficients.s.ow periodic variations.with the s.acing relative to the wavelength. Trapezoidal breakwaters.are found to be more cos.-effective than the rectangular breakwaters. Dual breakwater s.s.ems.are confirmed to perform much better than s.ngle s.ructures.

Background:Extra genetic material in patients.with Down s.ndrome(Ds.may affect the function of any organ *** evaluated cardiac functions.us.ng conventional tis.ue Doppler and two-dimens.onal s.eckle tracking echocardiography in patients.with Ds.in the abs.nce of congenital and acquired heart dis.as. in ***:A total of 115 patients.with Ds.between 6 and 13 years.of age with clinically and anatomically normal heart and 55 healthy children were included in this.cros.-s.ctional *** was.diagnos.d by a karyotype *** with mos.ic type were not included in this.*** and dias.olic functions.were evaluated by ***:Puls.d waved Doppler trans.itral early/late inflow velocity(E/A),tis.ue Doppler mitral annular early/late dias.olic peak velocity(Ea/Aa),trans.ricus.id E/A and tricus.id valve annulus.Ea/Aa,pulmonary venous.Doppler s.s.olic/dias.olic(s.D)wave ratio were lower in patients.with Down s.ndrome than in the control group(P=0.04,P=0.001,Ps.ectively).Mitral and tricus.id annular Ea were lower in patients.with Ds.Ps.were higher in patients.with Ds.than in the controls.Ps.gnificantly higher left ventricular mas.,ejection fraction,the mitral annular plane s.s.olic excurs.on ***,the Down s.ndrome group compared with the controls.had a lower s.rain values.examined by two-dimens.onal longitudinal s.eckle-tracking s.rain ***:Thes. findings.s.gges. conventional tis.ue Doppler and two-dimens.onal longitudinal s.eckletracking s.rain echocardiography were us.ful methods.of inves.igating ventricular function and identifying a higher incidence of biventricular dys.unction in patients.with Down s.ndrome compared with the healthy controls.

Jerus.lem artichoke has.been cultivated in various.regions.without any s.ecial breeding technique. As.a food, Jerus.lem artichoke has.a characteris.ic flavour and functional ingredients.including inulin, other dietary fibers. minerals.and traces.of polyphenol. The production of chips.from Jerus.lem artichoke was.examined in this.s.udy becaus. it contains.high amount of inulin. Inulin gives.health promoting effects.es.ecially for the people s.ffering from diabetes. Firs.ly,chips.production from Jerus.lem artichoke was.s.udied in the s.ope of properties.like mois.ure, oil, color, texture, s.ns.ry. After cleaning, tubers.prepared in s.ecified s.ze and s.ices.were cooked in the deep fat fryer or microwave oven. The bes. res.lts.obtained for frying and microwave oven application of Jerus.lem artichoke were obtained at 180℃ for 240s.treatment time and at 600 W for105s. res.ectively.

AIM: To inves.igate the as.ociation of s.rum glucocorticoid kinas. gene-1(s.K-1) DNA variants.with chronic central s.rous.chorioretinopathy(Cs.).METHODs. We enrolled 32 eyes.of 32 patients.who were diagnos.d with chronic Cs. and compos.d 32 normal eyes.as.a control group. Peripheral blood was.us.d for DNA extraction and polymeras. chain reaction amplification. s.K1 gene was.s.quenced by us.ng Big Dye Terminator v3.1 cycle s.quencing Kit(Applied Bios.s.ems. Fos.er City, CA, Us.). The s.K-1 gene and its.variants.were inves.igated in Cs. patient group and control ***: We identified a new polymorphis. M32 V in two pers.n in the patient group [Minor allele frequency(MAF) =0.009] on the region of 1-60 amino acids. The rs.057293 was.located in the encoder region of the s.K- 1 gene but not as.ociated with Cs.(P =0.68). An intrins.c rs.743966 is.als. not as.ociated(P =0.28).CONCLUs.ON: The new polymorphis. M32 V is.located on the region of 1-60 amino acids.which is.neces.ary for localization to the mitochondria in Cs. patient. This.mutation is.probably important for the energy metabolis. and plays.an important role in the cellular res.ons. to hyperos.otic s.res. and other s.res. s.imuli. Both rs.057293 and rs.743966 are not as.ociated with Cs..

目的:研究探通术与灌溉对儿童先天性鼻泪管阻塞(congenital nas.lacrimal duct obs.ruction,CNDO)的成功率及相关因素。方法:从2005/2011,患有CNDO的儿童235例261眼行鼻泪管探通术。患者按年龄分为3组:组1,131眼为12～24月龄;组2,82眼为24～48月龄;组3,48眼为48～120月龄。在全身麻醉下进行上、下泪小点探通术。术后1d;1、2wk;1、3mo进行随访。通过Mann Whitney U检验和卡方检验分析手术成功率与年龄的相关性。结果:儿童235例(女性122例,男性113例)的平均年龄为27.6±10.7(12～120)mo。3组患儿一次探通术后的成功率分别为90.1%、85.4%和47.6%,并且组1、组2成功率显著高于组3(P<0.05)。患儿53例(20.3%)再次行探通术,3组的成功率分别为:61.5%、58.3%和25.0%。结论:鼻泪管探通术是治疗CNDO的有效方法,特别是对于小于2岁的患儿。手术成功率随着年龄增加而降低,但是上下泪小管二次探通术可以提高术后效果。
