n.>Backgroun.:n.> The ultimate goal of An.iRetroViral Treatmen.s (ART) is to achieve complete immun. restoration.an. lastin. viral suppression.in.the in.ected patien.. In.order to en.ure the efficacy, safety an. accessibility of an.iretroviral drugs (ARVs), it is recommen.ed that they should be prescribed accordin. to n.tion.l guidelin.s;which are evolvin. with the various recommen.ation. of the World Health Organ.zation.(WHO) an. the arrival of n.wer, more effective an. safer molecules. n.>Objective:n.> The objective of this study was to assess the ration.l use of An.iretrovirals in.patien.s treated in.Kin.hasa before the use of Dolutegravir within.the n.tion.l program in.order to assess the correct use of these molecules. n.>Methods:n.> This work is a descriptive cross-section.l study to assess the ration.l use of first-lin. ARVs amon. People Livin. with HIV (PLHIV) in.differen. Cen.ers of Treatmen. (ATCs) in.Kin.hasa before the in.roduction.of Dolutegravir. The records of patien.s on.ARVs were ran.omly an. ration.lly selected in.12 differen. ATCs for HIV in.Kin.hasa accordin. to three cen.ers per district in.the period from Jun. to September 2018. In.ormation.on.use an. con.umption.of ARVs, complian.e with guidelin.s, chan.e of therapeutic combin.tion.as well as their reason. were con.ulted for the presen. study. n.>Results:n.> 507 files of PLHIV were collected in.the various ATCs. 274 (54.1%) were from female patien.s. The most represen.ed age group was 26 to 35 years with 192 patien.s (37.9%). The mean.duration.of first-lin. treatmen. for all patien.s in.luded was 16.30 ± 5.85 mon.hs. The most widely used combin.tion.of ARVs overall was TDF + 3TC + EFV at 45.4%. 305 (60.2%) PLHIV kept the same first-lin. treatmen. molecule throughout the treatmen. period with an.average treatmen. duration.of 12.9 ± 2.77 mon.hs. Backgroun.: Programs targetin. serodiscordan. couples in.Africa are n.t a priority in.efforts to preven. Human.Immun.deficien.y Virus (HIV) in.ection. although a large proportion.of these occur in.stable relation.hips, of which serodiscordan.e accoun.s for about two-thirds with a high risk of serocon.ersion.of the seron.gative partn.r. Objective: The objective of this study was to describe the profile of HIV serodiscordan. couples followed in.Kin.hasa, DRC. Methods: Descriptive cross-section.l study to describe the profile of differen. heterosexual HIV serodiscordan. couples followed at the Mon.ole Medical Cen.er in.Kin.hasa, DRC, from n.vember 2021 to Jun. 2022. The data were collected from the in.ormation.sheets elaborated by the research team as well as from the in.ormation.provided by the computerized files of the patien.s man.ged at the In.ectious Diseases Un.t of the Mon.ole Medical Cen.er after the sign.ture of the in.ormed con.en.. An.average of 8 cc of blood was taken.from a peripheral vein.in.the patien.’s forearm, an. was stored in.EDTA tubes at −20˚C, of which at least 6 mL were used for biochemical an.lyses, 2 spots of 200 μL for each partn.r were stored on.filter paper at −20˚C an. were used for Dn. extraction. n.sted PCR con.irmed the serological diagn.sis. Results: Out of a total of 482 heterosexual couples followed for HIV at the Mon.ole Medical Cen.er, 28 (5.8%) were HIV serodiscordan., of which 14 (2.9%) couples agreed to participate in.the presen. study. The mean.age was 43.39 ± 10 years with extremes ran.in. from 24 to 62 years. The patien.s were main.y from the in.ormal sector (53.6%) an. weighed between.61 an. 71 kg (46.4%). Sexual in.ercourse con.in.ed in.all couples, without con.om use (85.7%) for desire of procreation.(82.1%);although the great majority of HIV-n.gative partn.rs (85.7%) were n.t un.er ARV prophylaxis. Method: The presen. study is a cross-section.l view of the virological profile of the twelfth mon.h of a prospective cohort of PLHIV at M12 of DTG-based ART in.Kin.hasa. Durin. the M12 appoin.men., a blood sample was taken.for Molecular Biology an.lyses from all PLHIV in.luded. Result: Durin. the M12 appoin.men., 28 patien.s were registered, in.ludin. 16 (57.1%) women. n.n. (9) patien.s (45.0%) had an.un.etectable Viral Load (VL). The median.VL value was 3.18 log10 Rn. copies/mL (1530 Rn. copies/mL). The mutation. K65R, T69P/n. K70R an. M184V have been.listed as mutation. con.errin. resistan.e to n.cleotide Reverse Tran.criptase In.ibitors. n. mutation. associated with Dolutegravir were observed at M12. Con.lusion. After 12 mon.hs of An.iRetroViral Treatmen. based on.Dolutegravir, half of the Patien.s on.first-lin. ART are in.a state of virological failure.

Objective: the Objective of this study is to presen. the virological an. molecular profile of People Livin. with HIV startin. An.iretroviral Therapy in.Kin.hasa in.the era of the Dolutegravir. Methods: This was a tran.versal study to determin. virological an. molecular profile of People Livin. with HIV (PLHIV) startin. an.ARV Treatmen.. The patien.’s in.lusion.period was from October 04, 2021 to February 15, 2022. A sample of 5 ml of blood was taken.in.a tube with EDTA an.icoagulan. for Molecular Biology an.lyzes (Viral Load an. Sequen.in.) in.all HIV patien.s, after readin. an. sign.n. in.ormed con.en.. The population.was made up of adult patien.s over the age of 18, in.ected with HIV an. startin. ART. Results: 119 patien.s (56.3% of women. were in.luded in.this study, thus a sex-ratio of 1.29. The average age of patien.s in.luded was 39.87 ± 12.36 years. The most represen.ed age group is that of 36 to 45 with 37 patien.s (31.9%) followed by that from 26 to 35 years with 24 patien.s (20.7%). Out of 119 patien.s, 21 patien.s had an.un.etectable Viral Load (VL). The median.value of VL was 4.16 log10 Rn. copies/ml. 114 samples were successfully amplified. Subtype A was domin.n. with 23 cases (20.2%);followed by the subtype C an. CRF02_AG each with 14.0%, an. D (10.5 %). K65R (1.8%), T69P/n.(4.4%), K70R (7.9%) an. M184V (7.0%) mutation. were listed as existin. mutation. for n.cleotide Tran.criptase In.ibitors. Con.lusion. 38 patien.s (31.93%) started the TARV with a positive virological progn.sis. The subtype A remain. domin.n. in.Kin.hasa with 23 cases (20.2%);followed by the subtype C an. CRF02_AG each with 14.0%. For In.ibitors of Tran.criptase Reverse n.cleotide;K65R, T69P/n. K70E/R an. Methods: The presen. study is a cross-section.l view at the sixth mon.h of a prospective cohort to determin. the virological an. molecular profile of People Livin. with HIV (PLHIV) after 6 mon.hs of ART based on.Dolutegravir (DTG) in.Kin.hasa. A sample of 5 mL of blood was taken.from all HIV patien.s in.luded. The collection.of biological data was carried out un.er the same con.ition. as at in.lusion. After extraction. Quan.itative Real-Time PCR was carried out to determin. the quan.ity of HIV Rn. in.the samples accordin. to the protocols previously described. Reverse Tran.cription.PCR (RT-PCR) an. n.sted PCR were carried out to amplify the region. of in.erest for Protease an. Reverse Tran.criptase for sequen.in.. Results: The median.VL value was 2.92 log10 Rn. copies/mL. With 17.75% of patien.s experien.in. major failure of first-lin. treatmen.. Subtype A is domin.n. with 13 cases (20.98%);followed by CRF_02AG (16.13%), subtypes C (14.52%), D (9.68%) an. K (6.45%). The K65R (3 cases), T69P/n.(6 cases), K70R (9 cases) an. M184V (8 cases) mutation. were listed as existin. mutation. for n.cleotide Reverse Tran.criptase In.ibitors. Con.lusion. After 6 mon.hs of ART, 59.67% of People Livin. with HIV on.Ten.fovir-Lamivudin.-Dolutegravir is in.therapeutic success while 40.33% are in.a state of treatmen. failure. Subtype A remain. domin.n. in.the population.of PLHIV. Resistan.e mutation. were detected for Lamivudin. an. Ten.fovir, but n.n. for Dolutegravir.

Objective: The objective of this study is therefore to presen. the profile of People Livin. with HIV un.er treatmen. with Dolutegravir 6 mon.hs after startin. ART in.Kin.hasa. Methods: The presen. study is a cross-section.l view at M6 of a prospective cohort to determin. the profile of People Livin. with HIV (PLHIV) after 6 mon.hs of ARV Treatmen. (ART) in.Kin.hasa, DRC. Durin. the M6 appoin.men., from April to August 2022, a sample of 5 ml of blood was taken.for the various an.lyzes from all HIV patien.s in.luded. The collection.of sociodemographic data as well as biological an. clin.cal data was carried out un.er the same con.ition. as at in.lusion. The parameters recorded durin. M6 were: age, sex, an. religion. level of study, marital status, profession. socio-econ.mic level, height, weight, Body Mass In.ex (BMI), clin.cal profile, opportun.stic in.ection. as well as biochemical an. molecular assessmen.. Results: In.M6, 62 patien.s were registered in.ludin. 38 women.(61.3%), thus givin. a sex ratio of 1.58 in.favor of women. Fifty-seven.(57) patien.s did n.t respon. to the appoin.men., represen.in. a loss rate of 47.89%. The most common.age group is between.36 an. 45 years old with 16 patien.s (26.7%). The mean.age was 42.4 ± 13.3 years. The mean.weight was 60.5 ± 15.4 kg with a mean.BMI of 22.6 ± 5.8 kg/m2. Thirty-four (34) patien.s (61.82%) were in.Clin.cal Stage 3. Thirty-six (36) patien.s (67.92%) had a n.rmal clin.cal con.ition. The most common.opportun.stic in.ection. amon. patien.s in.M6 were: skin.pruritus (25.8%), dermatitis (22.6%) an. rash (21%). The mean.values of biochemical parameters of patien.s in.M6 were within.n.rmal ran.es. The median.VL value was 2.92 log10 Rn. copies/ml with 17.75% of patien.s experien.in. major failure of f

Backgroun.: The Democratic Republic of the Con.o (DRC) faces severe malaria, postpartum haemorrhage, maln.trition.an. sickle cell disease that require tran.fusion. The latter poses immun.logical, in.ectious, metabolic an. hemodyn.mic risks to recipien.s. Objective: To presen. tran.fusion.safety in.the DRC through data from the literature. Methods: This review con.ists of listin. the various articles an. abstracts published on.in. an. presen.ed in.scien.ific con.eren.es havin. as a subject of in.erest tran.fusion.safety in.the DRC. Results: The review is domin.ted by articles from eastern.DRC an. blood mobilization.is aroun. 0.5% of the gen.ral population. All screen.n. tests are serological with a proven.residual risk. The prevalen.e of HIV, HBV, HCV an. syphilis in.ection. is documen.ed at more than.80% an. represen.s respectively 1.9%, 2.96%, 1.89% an. 1.21%. The prevalen.e of other pathogen., the immun.logical an. haemodyn.mic risk are very poorly documen.ed (12.5% to 25%). The prevalen.e of Parvovirus B19 in.ection.is 5.3% an. that of bacterial con.amin.tion.at 1.4%, that of malaria in.estation. between.0.3% an. 28.3%, that of trypan.somiasis at 1.3%, that of babebiosis at 0.17% in.blood don.rs. Allo-immun.zation.represen.s 47.8%, adverse reaction. 3.4%, iron.deficien.y 63.2, iron.deficien.y an.mia 25.9% an. an.mia 36.5%. Pediatrics is the biggest user of this blood. Con.lusion. The prevalen.e of HIV, HBV, HCV an. Syphilis in.ection. is within.the ran.e of sub-Saharan.African.coun.ries. The serological test is systematic an. in.olves the residual risk, it is n.cessary to in.roduce the molecular tests. The prevalen.e of other pathogen. (emergin. viruses, bacteria an. hemoparasites), the immun.logical an. metabolic risk is poorly documen.ed. The search for these pathogen., irregular an.ibodies an. the determin.tion.of ferritin.in.blood don.tion. is n.t systematic.

Backgroun.: For several decades, the in.roduction.of An.iRetrovirals (ARVs) has improved the symptomatology of People Livin. with HIV (PLHIV), a spectacular reduction.in.morbidity an. mortality, an.improvemen. in.life expectan.y an. quality of life of PLHIV. Objective: The objective of this study was to determin. the profile of PLHIV in.tiatin. An.iRetroViral Treatmen. (ART) in.the era of Dolutegravir in.Kin.hasa. Methods: Cross-section.of a prospective cohort to determin. the profile of PLHIV in.tiatin. ART in.Kin.hasa. The in.lusion. were from October 04, 2021 to February 15, 2022. Con.irmation.of the diagn.sis was carried out by n.sted PCR. The in.lusion.criteria were: bein. at least 18 years old, con.irmed HIV positive, n.ïve to ART, con.en.in. an. havin. sign.d an.in.ormed con.en.. The parameters of in.erest followed for the presen. study were: age, sex, religion. level of study, marital status, occupation. height, weight, body mass in.ex (BMI), the clin.cal profile, the opportun.stic in.ection. as well as the para-clin.cal assessmen. (biochemistry an. molecular biology). Results: 67 (56.3%) women.an. 52 (43.7%) men.were in.luded, thus 119 patien.s, all con.irmed positive for HIV by n.sted PCR on.the gag, pol an. en. region.. The average age of the patien.s in.luded is 39.87 ± 12.36 years an. the most represen.ed age group is that of 36 to 45 years with 37 patien.s (31.9%). The average height was 1.66 ± 0.08 meters, with an.average weight of 56.41 ± 13.30 kg, givin. an.average Body Mass In.ex (BMI) of 21.54 ± 5.17 kg/m2. The majority of patien.s were married (46.1%), of Protestan. religion.(70.7%), with secon.ary education.(66.7%), an. workin. in.the in.ormal sector (29.4%). 49 patien.s (41.5%) were in.clin.cal stage 3 an. 55 patien.s (47.0%) had a n.rmal clin.cal status. Malaria (45.4%) an. tuberculosis (29.4%) were the most common.Opportun.stic In.ection.. The mean.values of the patien.s’ assessed biochemical parameters were within.the ran.es. The

Con.ext: An.iretroviral therapies improve the progn.sis of n.uroAIDS con.rastin. with a high frequen.y of Min.r n.urocogn.tive Disorders (Mn.) even.in.aviremic subjects. Objective: The objective of this study is to presen. the n.urological an. cogn.tive profile of People Livin. with HIV (PLHIV) in.tiatin. an.iretroviral treatmen. in.Kin.hasa in.the era of Dolutegravir (DTG). Methods: This is a multicen.er, cross-section.l study with a descriptive aim carried out in.16 HIV Outpatien. Treatmen. Cen.ers (OTC) in.Kin.hasa from October 4, 2021 to February 15, 2022. The In.ern.tion.l HIV Demen.ia Scale (IHDS) correlated with the Activities of Daily Livin. (IADL) scale facilitated the categorization.of n.uroCogn.tive Disorders (n.D) of PLHIV evaluated after carryin. out a summary n.urological examin.tion. Results: Of the 96 patien.s recruited, 56.3% were women.with a sex ratio of 0.68. The average age was 40.1 ± 12.1 years. The secon.ary education.level was the majority at 64.6%. Malaria (44.8%) an. tuberculosis (32.3%) were more common.as opportun.stic in.ection.. They were alcoholics in.(30.2%). Their history was heart disease (15.6%), high blood pressure (18.8%);drug abuse (10.4%). The IHDS score was light in.55.2% of cases. The correlation.between.IHDS/IADL watches asymptomatic n.urocogn.tive impairmen.s (An.) in.77.1%, almost all of subjects are foun. with n.rmal overall fun.tion.n. (94.8%) an. a disturbed n.urological examin.tion.in.53.1% of cases with a predomin.n.e of motor impairmen.s in.79.1%. Con.lusion. In.view of these results, early an. systematic screen.n. of n.D an. associated factors remain. n.cessary in.our con.ext. .
