S-scheme possesses superior redox capabilities compared with the II-scheme,providing an effective method to solve the innate defects of g-C_(3)N_(4)(CN).In this study,S-doped g-C_(3)N_(4)/g-C_(3)N_(4)(SCN-tm/CN)S-scheme homojunction was constructed by rationally integrating morphology control with interfacial engineering to enhance the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution ***-situ Kelvin probe force microscopy(KPFM)confirms the transport of photo-generated electrons from CN to *** functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the generation of a built-in electric field between SCN and CN enables the carrier separation to be more efficient and *** transient absorption spectrum(fs-TAS)indicates prolonged lifetimes of SCN-tm/CN_(3)(τ1:9.7,τ2:110,andτ3:1343.5 ps)in comparison to those of CN(τ1:4.86,τ2:55.2,andτ3:927 ps),signifying that the construction of homojunction promotes the separation and transport of electron hole pairs,thus favoring the photocatalytic *** visible light irradiation,the optimized SCN-tm/CN_(3)exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity with the hydrogen evolution rate of 5407.3μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),which is 20.4 times higher than that of CN(265.7μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1)).Moreover,the homojunction also displays an apparent quantum efficiency of 26.8%at 435 nm as well as ultra-long and ultra-stable cycle *** work offers a new strategy to construct highly efficient photocatalysts based on the metal-free conjugated polymeric CN for realizing solar energy conversion.

In this work,the utilization of lattice Boltzmann method(LBM)in the simulation of coupled conduction and radiation heat transfer in composite materials is *** novel D3Q30-LBM and D3Q38-LBM models are proposed for the simulation of radiative transfer equation(RTE).The LBM-LBM model,coupled finite volume method(FVM)and LBM are compared with the coupled FVM and discrete ordinate method(DOM)for 2D and 3D *** results show that the original D3Q26-LBM is insufficient for the simulation of radiation,and both the D3Q30-LBM and D3Q38-LBM are close to the DOM for the *** LBM can have large errors in the simulation of heat conduction when the relaxation time is ***,its application in the composite materials is limited when the ratio between thermal conductivities of different components is *** models with LBM for RTE can be more efficient than the FVM-DOM for the simulation of conduction-radiation heat transfer in composite *** FVM-D3Q30-LBM model is suggested because of its accuracy and efficiency.

Carbon dioxide(CO_(2)) emissions from inland waters to the atmosphere are a pivotal component of the global carbon budget. Anthropogenic land use can influence riverine CO_(2) emissions, but empirical data exploring cause-effect relationships remain limited. Here, we investigated CO_(2) partial pressures(pCO_(2)) and degassing in a monsoonal river(Yue River)within the Han River draining to the Yangtze in China. Almost 90% of river samples were supersaturated in CO_(2) with a mean ± standard deviation of 1474 ± 1614 μatm, leading to emissions of 557-971 mmol/m^(2)/day from river water to the atmosphere. Annual CO_(2) emissions were 1.6-2.8 times greater than the longitudinal exports of riverine dissolved inorganic and organic carbon. pCO_(2) was positively correlated to anthropogenic land use(urban and farmland), and negatively correlated to forest cover. p CO_(2) also had significant and positive relationships with total dissolved nitrogen and total dissolved phosphorus. Stepwise multiple regression models were developed to predict p CO_(2) . Farmland and urban land released nutrients and organic matter to the river system, driving riverine p CO_(2) enrichment due to enhanced respiration in these heterotrophic rivers. Overall, we show the crucial role of land use driving riverine pCO_(2) , which should be considered in future large-scale estimates of CO_(2) emissions from streams. Land use change can thus modify the carbon balance of urban-river systems by enhancing river emissions, and reforestation helps carbon neutral in rivers.

As an unsupervised learning method,stochastic competitive learning is commonly used for community detection in social network *** with the traditional community detection algorithms,it has the advantage of realizing the time-series community detection by simulating the community formation *** order to improve the accuracy and solve the problem that several parameters in stochastic competitive learning need to be pre-set,the author improves the algorithms and realizes improved stochastic competitive learning by particle position initialization,parameter optimization and particle domination ability *** experiment result shows that each improved method improves the accuracy of the algorithm,and the F1 score of the improved algorithm is 9.07%higher than that of original algorithm.

In the traditional viewpoint,inhibitory and excitatory effects always induce opposite *** the present study,the enhanced bursting activities induced by excitatory autapses,which are consistent with the recent experimental observations,and those induced by inhibitory autapses,which is a paradoxical phenomenon,were simulated using the Chay *** same bifurcations and different ionic currents for the same responses were acquired with fast-slow variable dissection and current decomposition,*** the inhibitory or excitatory autaptic conductance increased,the ending phase of the burst related to a homoclinic bifurcation of the fast subsystem changed to widen the burst duration to contain more spikes,which was induced by an elevated minimal potential(V_(min)) of spiking of the fast *** inhibitory and excitatory autaptic conductances induced smaller and larger maximal potentials(V_(max)) of spiking,*** the downstroke,a weaker potassium current induced by the smaller V_(max) played a dominant role for the inhibitory autapse,and the stronger potassium current induced by the larger V_(max) became weaker due to the opposite autaptic current of the excitatory autapse,which induced the V_(min) *** results present the nonlinear and biophysical mechanisms of the same responses to opposite effects,which extends nonlinear dynamics knowledge and provides potential modulation measures for the nervous system.

A new structural design for the vent stack with an inclined exit was proposed to reduce the settlement hazard of the cryogenic plume from a cryogenic wind tunnel;it extends the plume trajectory to increase the effective contact space and time for mixing between the plume gas and atmospheric air before the plume settles to the ground,contributing to more efficient energy consumption for ***-scale experiments and numerical simulations of plume dispersion based on vertical and 30°-and 45°-inclined exits were conducted to study harm reduction and energy-saving *** of the minimum temperature and minimum oxygen concentration of the plume near the ground indicate that the new exhaust design with an inclined exit clearly reduces the settlement *** windless conditions and without using a fan-ejector system,up to 15.9%of the heating energy used by the burner can be saved by adopting the new design.

Micro/nanobubbles for use as ultrasound contrast agents have been fabricated with different shell *** various biomedical nanoparticles have been embedded in the shells of bubbles,the composite structures have shown promising applications in multi-modal imaging,drug/gene delivery,and biomedical *** this study,we developed a new gas-liquid interface self-assembly method to prepare magnetic nanobubbles embedded with superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles(SPIONs).The diameter of the generated assembled nanobubbles was 227.40±87.21 nm with a good polydispersity index(PDI)of *** the condition of 150 compression cycles,the nanobubble concentration could reach about 6.12×10^(9)/*** electron microscopy(TEM)and scanning electronic microscopy(SEM)demonstrated that the assembled nanobubbles had a hollow gas core with SPIONs adsorbed on the ***(US)imaging and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)experiments indicated that the assembled magnetic nanobubbles exhibited good US and MR contrast ***,the assembled magnetic nanobubbles were used to label neural stem cells under ultrasound *** 40 s US exposure,the magnetic nanobubbles could be delivered into cells with 2.80 pg Fe per cell,which could be observed in the intracellular endosome by *** with common incubation methods,the ultrasound exposure method did not introduce the potential cytotoxicity of transfection reagents and the efficiency was about twice as high as the efficiency of ***,the assembled magnetic nanobubbles prepared through the pressure-driven gas-liquid interface assembly approach could be a potential US/MRI dual model imaging nanocarrier for regenerative applications.

As a novel alternative to traditional perfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs),including perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA)and perfluorooctane sulfonate(PFOS),hexafluoroproplyene oxide trimer acid(HFPO-TA)has been detected worldwide in surface ***,recent researches have demonstrated that HFPO-TA has stronger bioaccumulation potential and higher hepatotoxicity than *** treat these contaminants *** and PFOS,some photochemical techniques by adding exogenous substances had been ***,there is still no report for the behavior of HFPO-TA itself under direct UV *** current study investigated the photo-transformation of HFPO-TA under UV irradiation in aqueous *** 72 hr photoreaction,75%degradation ratio and 25%defluorination ratio were achieved under ambient *** active species,i.e.,hydrated electrons and active hydrogen atoms,generated from water splitting played dominant roles in degradation of HFPO-TA,which was confirmed by different effects of reaction atmospheres and quenching experiments.A possible degradation pathway was proposed based on the products identification and theoretical *** general,HFPO-TA would be transformed into shorter-chain PFASs,including hexafluoropropylene oxide dimer acid(HFPODA),perfluoropropionic acid(PFA)and trifluoroacetate(TFA).This research provides basic information for HFPO-TA photodegradation process and is essential to develop novel remediation techniques for HFPO-TA and other alternatives with similar structures.

The complexity of application environment stimulates the development of wearable devices based on functional *** all the promising performances,self-healing and self-adhesion properties are ideal for hydrogel sensors,which can guarantee good accuracy,comfort and long service ***,it is still a challenge to achieve simultaneous self-healing and self-adhesion in different environments(in the air,underwater and at low temperatures).Herein,a feasible new strategy was successfully carried out to prepare a starch-based composite conductive organohydrogel based on the reversible borate ester bonds formed by complexing starch/polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)/tea polyphenol(TP)with borax,and multiple hydrogen-bond interactions among PVA,starch,TP and ethylene glycol(EG).Silver nanoparticles(Ag-NPs),reduced and stabilized by TP,and MWCNTs(multi-walled carbon nanotubes)were introduced into the cross-linking networks to endow the resulting PBSTCE organohydrogel with considerable antibacterial property and conductivity,*** organohydrogel possessed rapid self-healing(HE(self-healing efficiency)=96.07%in 90 s,both in the air and underwater,also at-20℃),considerable self-adhesion(both in the air and underwater,also at-20℃),remarkable stretchability(814%of elongation),anti-freezing(-20℃)and moisture-retention abilities,antibacterial activity,sensitive pH/sugar-responsiveness,and *** strain sensor formed by the PBSTCE organohydrogel can not only effectively record large-scale human motions(***/wrist/elbow bending,walking,etc.),but also accurately capture subtle motion changes(***,chewing,swallowing,speaking,smiling and frowning).Moreover,the self-healed organohydrogel sensor also exhibited almost invariable mechanical,electrical and sensing *** work demonstrates a feasible strategy to construct multifunctional starch-based organohy-drogels,and promotes their efficient,stable and eco-friendly application as flexible wearabl
