Dear Editor,This letter focuses on the integration of inventory monitoring and capacity changes in dynamic supply chains(SCs) with the bullwhip effect(BE) and the ripple effect(RE). First, a new inventory monitoring model with stochastic switched topologies is proposed for SCs, potentially showing merits in incorporating the BE and the RE,and allowing control-theoretic approaches to identify their interrelations. Then, sufficient conditions on the existence of inventory controllers are derived such that the monitoring system is stabilizable with mitigation of the BE in the presence of the RE.

At the operational decision-making level, this paper focuses on a class of process-based supply networks(PSNs),from an interconnected large-scale system perspective, and employs a Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy-based active control strategy for reducing the bullwhip effect(BE). First, both BE operational causes(OC) and behavioral causes(BC) are incorporated into the differential equation framework, such that the BE quantification is more general than the existing results with only one of them. Then, the T-S fuzzy modeling is introduced to deal with nonlinear activities in the operation. Moreover, the fuzzy control strategy is presented to actively attenuate the BE. The provided fuzzy active strategy, using delivery rate regulation experience,has the potential to improve the BE attenuation than passive design. Finally, simulation results examine the effectiveness of the proposed active strategy.

Hydroformylation could convert olefins and syngas （mixture of H2and CO） into aldehydes with a great atomic *** transformation serves as one of the most prominent processes in modern chemical industry, as it provides over 10million tons of aldehydes as feedstock for our daily essential products such as plasticizers, paints, solvents, and pharmaceuticals. This process generally requires efficient yet robust catalyst to realize decent efficacy. Compared with metals such as Co, Ru, and Pd, rhodium （Rh）-based catalysts stand out due to its superior activity even under mild reaction conditions, and dominate over 70%of global hydroformylation processes.

The paper presents experimental investigation results of crack pattern change in cement pastes caused by external sulfate attack(ESA).To visualize the formation and development of cracks in cement pastes under ESA,an X-ray computed tomography(X-ray CT)was used,i e,the tomography system of Zeiss Xradia 510 *** results indicate that X-CT can monitor the development process and distribution characteristics of the internal cracks of cement pastes under ESA with attack *** addition,the C3A content in the cement significantly affects the damage mode of cement paste specimens during sulfate *** damage of ordinary Portland cement(OPC)pastes subjected to sulfate attack with high C3A content are severe,while the damage of sulfate resistant Portland cement(SRPC)pastes is much smaller than that of OPC ***,a quadratic function describes the correlation between the crack volume fraction and development depth for two cement pastes immermed in sulfate solution.

In this study,a novel Ni-W-Co-Mo medium heavy alloy (MHA) was designed to improve its mechanical strength via Mo *** the Ni-42W-10Co-xM o alloy series,where x represents the weight percent of Mo and varies between 0,1,2,5,and 10,the microstructure transitions from a dendritic structure to a hypoeutectic structure as the Mo content increases from 0 to 5wt.%.Moreover,as the Mo content increases from 0to 10wt.%,the distribution of theμ-phase shifts from being individually dispersed to forming aggregates,and its volume fraction rises from 0.5%to 7.9%.Notably,theμ-phase evolves into an eutectic microstructure,which helps in minimizing the segregation of *** change is accompanied by a substantial enhancement in mechanical properties;specifically,the compressive yield strength at room temperature increases from 350 MPa to 646 MPa,indicating a significant 85%***,the microhardness increases from 230 HV to 304 *** dynamics simulations further reveal that the strengthening mechanism of Ni-42W-10Co-xM o alloys is Mo-induced solid solution strengthening and precipitation strengthening.

In the intricate process of natural product biosynthesis, a metabolon can enhance metabolic flux by associating sequential enzymes. A fungal metabolon, comprising of flavin-dependent monooxygenase Spe F and P450 monooxygenase Spe G, is identified in the biosynthesis of spiro polycyclic alkaloids(+)-notoamide B and its diastereomer(+)-versicolamide B. Using notoamide E as a substance, Spe F/Spe G metabolon can control the stereoselectivity of its 2,3-epoxidation, followed by hydrogen atom ion at C-17 to generate reactive epoxide tau-m A with dienyl iminium unit. Subsequently,(+)-notoamide B and(+)-versicolamide B are produced via tandem nonenzymatic inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction and semipinacol rearrangement. This provides the first example of metabolon in the biosynthesis of spiro-prenylated indole alkaloids.

Gradient cemented carbides with the surface depleted in cubic phases were prepared following normal powder metallurgical *** zone formation and the influence of nitrogen introduction methods on the microstructure and performance of the alloys were *** results show that the simple one-step vacuum sintering technique is doable for producing gradient cemented *** structure formation is attributed to the gradient in nitrogen activity during sintering,but is independent from nitrogen introduced methods.A uniform carbon distribution is found throughout the ***,the transverse rupture strength of the cemented carbides can be increased by a gradient *** nitrogen carriers give the alloys distinguishing microstructure and mechanical properties,and a gradient alloy with ultrafine-TiC0.5N0.5 is found optimal.

Gradient cemented carbide is usually employed as the snbstrate for coated carbide insert. In this work, gradient cemented carbide with ultrafine Ti（C0.5,N0.5） was prepared and its microstructure and properties were researched. Moreover, this novel substrate was coated to investigate cutting performance. It is found that the average WC grain size in the gradient zone is larger than that in the bulk. Owing to ultrafine Ti（C0.5,N0.5） introduction, gradient cemented carbide prepared by vacuum sintering exhibits full densification. By contrast, the gradient cemented carbide with ultrafine Ti（C0.5,N0.5） shows higher transverse rupture strength （TRS） and hardness than the homogenous one. Gradient cemented carbide suffers small TRS reduction after coating, and the bonding between coatings and gradient substrate is tidy and compact. The coated gradient cemented carbide shows much better endurance and impact resistance than the coated homogenous one. It confirms the superiority of gradient cemented carbide when used as the substrate for coating inserts.

The phase diagram of superaustenitic stainless steel 654SMO was calculated by thermodynamic software and the precipitated phases in the specimens aged at 800-1100°C for 1hwere studied by methods of physicochemical phase analysis,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron *** results showed that the size of precipitated particles increased with increasing the *** amount of second phases reached the maximum value at 900°C,but decreased above 900°*** were about eight kinds of precipitated phases in 654SMO includingσphase,Cr_2N,μphase,χphase,Laves phase,M_（23）C_6,M_6C and M_3C,in which theσphase and Cr_2N were the dominant precipitated phases.
