Insecticide resistance in Panonychus citri is a major obstacle to mite control in citrus *** insecticides are continually used to control mites in China,although resistance to pyrethroids has evolved in some ***,the resistance to the pyrethroid fenpropathrin was investigated and 7 out of 8 field-collected populations of P citri exhibited a high level of resistance,ranging from 171-fold to 15391-fold higher than the susceptible(SS)comparison *** voltage-gated sodium channel(VGSC)mutations were identified in the tested populations:L1031V,F1747L,and *** sequencing was used to evaluate the frequency of these mutations in the 19 field populations.L1031V and F1751I were present in all populations at frequencies of 11.6%-82.1%and 0.5%-31.8%,respectively,whereas the F1747L mutation was only present in 12 populations from Chongqing,Sichuan,Guangxi,and Yunnan *** of these mutations singly or in combination into transgenic flies significantly increased their resistance to fenpropathrin and these flies also exhibited reduced mortality after exposure to the pyrethroids permethrin andβ-*** citri VGSC homology modeling and ligand docking indicate that F1747 and F1751 form direct binding contacts with pyrethroids,which are lost with mutation,whereas L1031 mutation may diminish pyrethroid effects through an allosteric ***,the results provide molecular markers for monitoring pest resistance to pyrethroids and offer new insights into the basis of pyrethroid actions on sodium channels.

The technique of producing hydrogen by utilizing green and renewable energy sources is called green hydrogen production. Therefore, by implementing this technique, hydrogen will become a sustainable and clean energy source by lowering greenhouse gas emissions and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. The key benefit of producing green hydrogen by utilizing green energy is that no harmful pollutants or greenhouse gases are directly released throughout the process. Hence, to guarantee all of the environmental advantages, it is crucial to consider the entire hydrogen supply chain, involving storage, transportation and end users. Hydrogen is a promising clean energy source and targets plan pathways towards decarbonization and net-zero emissions by 2050. This paper has highlighted the techniques for generating green hydrogen that are needed for a clean environment and sustainable energy solutions. Moreover, it summarizes an overview, outlook and energy transient of green hydrogen production. Consequently, its perspective provides new insights and research directions in order to accelerate the development and identify the potential of green hydrogen production. Hydrogen is a promising clean energy source and a pathway towards decarbonization and net-zero emissions by 2050. This article provides perspective on techniques for generating green hydrogen that are needed for a clean environment and sustainable energy solutions. Graphical Abstract

objective: The objective of this study was to explore the safety, efficacy, economy, and other aspects of frequently-used antitumor Chinese patent medicine injections through a comprehensive evaluation of evidence-based medical research to provide scientific information and decision-making basis for drug selection, rational drug use, public awareness of safe drug use, and medical insurance. Materials and Methods: The names of five frequently used antitumor Chinese patent medicine injections were used as search terms, including the compound Sophora flavescens injection, Kangai injection, Aidi injection, Kanglaite injection, and Brucea javanica oil emulsion injection. Relevant evidence-based medical research was extracted from the databases. A descriptive evaluation was conducted, and the Markov model was used for the cost-benefit analysis. Finally, the above injections are ranked by comprehensive scores using the multi-criteria decision analysis and Delphi method. Results: The five injections had their own advantages in enhancing the effectiveness of anti-tumor treatments, improving the quality of life for cancer patients, and reducing the incidence of adverse reactions. From the perspective of economy and other attributes, compound S. flavescens was superior to B. javanica oil, Aidi, Kangai, and Kanglaite. After a comprehensive evaluation of the above five injections, the compound S. flavescens injection received the highest score. Conclusions: Compound S. flavescens, Kangai, Aidi, B. javanica oil, and Kanglaite have their own advantages in effectiveness and no significant difference in safety. Compound S. flavescens injection has the highest comprehensive score. Clinical attention should be paid to monitoring the initial stage of medication and special groups.

Considering Pythagorician divisors theory which leads to a new parameterization, for Pythagorician triplets ( a,b,c )∈ ℕ 3∗ , we give a new proof of the well-known problem of these particular squareless numbers n∈ ℕ ∗ , called congruent numbers, characterized by the fact that there exists a right-angled triangle with rational sides: ( A α ) 2 + ( B β ) 2 = ( C γ ) 2 , such that its area Δ= 1 2 A α B β =n;or in an equivalent way, to that of the existence of numbers U 2 , V 2 , W 2 ∈ ℚ 2∗ that are in an arithmetic progression of reason n;Problem equivalent to the existence of: ( a,b,c )∈ ℕ 3∗ prime in pairs, and f∈ ℕ ∗ , such that: ( a−b 2f ) 2 , ( c 2f ) 2 , ( a+b 2f ) 2 are in an arithmetic progression of reason n;And this problem is also equivalent to that of the existence of a non-trivial primitive integer right-angled triangle: a 2 + b 2 = c 2 , such that its area Δ= 1 2 ab=n f 2 , where f∈ ℕ ∗ , and this last equation can be written as follows, when using Pythagorician divisors: (1) Δ= 1 2 ab= 2 S−1 d e ¯ ( d+ 2 S−1 e ¯ )( d+ 2 S e ¯ )=n f 2;Where ( d, e ¯ )∈ ( 2ℕ+1 ) 2 such that gcd( d, e ¯ )=1 and S∈ ℕ ∗ , where 2 S−1 , d, e ¯ , d+ 2 S−1 e ¯ , d+ 2 S e ¯ , are pairwise prime quantities (these parameters are coming from Pythagorician divisors). We propose in this article a new direct proof for the numbers n=1 (resp. n=2 ) to be non-congruent numbers, based on an particular induction method of resolution of Equation (1) (note that this method is efficient too for general case of prime numbers n=p≡a ( ( mod8 ) , gcd( a,8 )=1 ). Polymer science encompasses a different range of materials critical to industries spanning from packaging to biomedicine. Understanding the synthesis, characterization, and applications of common homopolymers and copolymers is fundamental to advancing polymer research and development. In this comprehensive review, we explore various preparation methods, including free radical, anionic, and cationic polymerization, utilized for synthesizing homopolymers and copolymers. Furthermore, we investigate solvent choices commonly employed for polymer characterization, ranging from neat conditions, polar protic and polar aprotic solvents. We also explored characterization techniques, including Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA). In addition to industrial applications, we highlight the diverse biological applications of homopolymers, poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (pHEMA) and polystyrene, which find its extensive use in biomedicine. By synthesizing and analyzing this wealth of information, this review aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the synthesis, characterization, and applications of homopolymers and copolymers, with a particular focus on their biological applications. This holistic approach not only contributes to advancements in polymer science and technology but also fosters innovation in biomedicine, ultimately benefiting human health and well-being.

Wellbore instability and sand production are all common challenges in the Niger Delta oil province,resulting in high drilling and production cost as well as damage to oil *** vulnerability of lithologic formations to wellbore instability and resultant sand production is investigated in the four delineated reservoirs of the“Areo”field,western part of Niger Delta *** foundation for establishing the geomechanical properties in this study was a 1-dimensional mechanical earth model,using gamma ray(GR),density(RHoB),compressional slowness(DTC),and shear slowness(DTS)*** the Areo oil field,two wells(well 001 and well 002)were *** evaluated formations are still primarily composed of compacted shale and unconsolidated sandstone,with reservoir sand units exhibiting lower elastic and rock strength properties than shale *** compressibility and porosity make sand more brittle,while low compressibility and porosity make shale stiffer due to high *** maximum force that can be applied to a shale unit without causing it to fail is 17.23 MPa,which is the maximum average rock strength of the *** means that shale requires more vertical stress or pressure than sand does in order to deform it(15.06 MPa).The three sand prediction approaches used in the analysis of sand production predictions have cut-off values that are higher than the average values of the *** Schlumberger sand production index method(S/I)indicates that the reservoir has potential for sand influx in the two wells,with the average of the four reservoirs studied in wells 001 and 002 being 1.551012 psi and 1.141012 psi ***,when a formation's sand production index is less than 1.241012 psi,as it is in this study,the formation is likely to produce *** findings support the notion that the defined sandstone units are highly unconsolidated and have a high potential for producing sands;therefore,sand control techniques must be factored in

Importance:In 2019,Nigeria had the largest number of under-5 child deaths globally and many of these deaths occurred within the first week of *** World Health organization recommends infant postnatal care(PNC)attendance to support newborn survival;however,utilization of PNC is known to be low in many ***:This study examined coverage and individual-level determinants of infant PNC attendance in ***:Nigeria Demographic Health Survey(NDHS)2018 data were used to evaluate infant PNC coverage and *** PNC was defined as receipt of care within 2 days of *** delivered up to 2 years before the 2018 NDHS were *** examined predictors of infant PNC with modified Poisson regression models to estimate relative risks(RRs).Results:The national coverage of infant PNC was 37.3%(95%confidence interval[CI]:35.8%–38.7%).Significant heterogeneity in PNC attendance existed at state and regional *** delivery was strongly associated with the uptake of PNC(RR:6.07;95%CI:5.60–6.58).Greater maternal education,maternal employment,urban residence,female head of household,and greater wealth were also associated with an increased likelihood of PNC ***:The uptake of infant PNC is low and interventions are urgently needed to promote equity in access and increase demand for PNC in Nigeria.
