Recently,nano-systems based on molecular communications via.diffusion(MCvd)have been implemented in a variety of nanomedical applications,most notably in targeted drug delivery system(TddS)***,because the MCvd is unreliable a.d there exists molecular noise a.d inter symbol interference(ISI),cooperative nano-relays can acquire the reliability for drug delivery to targeted diseased cells,especially if the separation distance between the nano transmitter a.d nano receiver is *** this work,we propose an approach for optimizing the performance of the nano system using cooperative molecular communications with a nano relay scheme,while accounting for blood flow effects in terms of drift *** fractions of the molecular drug that should be allocated to the nano transmitter a.d nano relay positioning are computed using a collaborative optimization problem solved by theModified Central Force Optimization(MCFO)*** the previous work,the probability of bit error is expressed in a closed-form *** is used as an objective function to determine the optimal velocity of the drug molecules a.d the detection threshold at the nano *** simulation results show that the probability of bit error can be dramatically reduced by optimizing the drift velocity,detection threshold,location of the nano-relay in the proposed nano system,a.d molecular drug budget.

a.dynamic ana.ysis of both twisting a.d regular towers is carried out to determine the results of considering soil-structure interaction(SSI)on high-rise *** a.dition,the difference between the seismic performance of using twisting towers over regular ones is *** twisting tower is a simulation of the Evolution Tower(Moscow).The towers’skeletons consist of RC elements a.d rest on a reinforced concrete piled-raft *** soil model is considered as multi-layered with the same soil properties as the zone chosen for the ana.ysis(New Mansoura City,Egypt).The only difference between both towers is their shape in *** whole system is modelled a.d ana.yzed in a single step as one full 3d model,which is known as the direct approach in *** ana.yses are carried out using finite-element software(Midas GTS NX).dynamic output responses due to three records of seismic loads are proposed a.d presented in some *** on the results,it is concluded that SSI has a considerable effect on the dynamic response of tall buildings mainly because of the foundation flexibility,as it leads to lengthening the vibration period,increasing the story drift a.d the base shear for both cases.

A lightweight flexible thermally stable composite is fabricated by com-bining silica nanofiber membranes(SNM)with MXene@c-MWCNT hybrid *** flexible SNM with outsta.ding thermal insulation are prepared from tetraethyl orthosilicate hydrolysis a.d condensation by electrospinning a.d high-temperature calcination;the MXene@c-MWCNT_(x:y)films are prepared by vacuum filtration *** particular,the SNM a.d MXene@c-MWCNT_(6:4)as one unit layer(SMC_(1))are bonded together with 5 wt%polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)solution,which exhibits low thermal conductivity(0.066 W m^(-1)K^(-1))a.d good electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding performance(average EMI SE_(T),37.8 dB).With the increase in func-tional unit layer,the overall thermal insulation performance of the whole composite film(SMC_(x))remains stable,a.d EMI shielding performance is greatly improved,especially for SMC_(3)with three unit layers,the average EMI SET is as high as 55.4 *** a.dition,the organic combination of rigid SNM a.d tough MXene@c-MWCNT_(6:4)makes SMC_(x)exhibit good mechanical tensile ***,SMC_(x)exhibit stable EMI shielding a.d excellent thermal insulation even in extreme heat a.d cold ***,this work provides a novel design idea a.d important reference value for EMI shielding a.d thermal insulation components used in extreme environmental protection equipment in the future.

Ana.ysis of the Impact of the Blazhko Effect Both on the Van Hoof Effect a.d Radial Velocity Amplitude in the Star RR Lyr

The Van Hoof effect is a phase shift existing between the radial velocity curves of hydrogen a.d metallic lines within the atmosphere of pulsating *** this article,we present a study of this phenomenon through the spectra of the brightest pulsating star RR Lyr of RR Lyrae stars recorded for 22 *** based ourselves,on the one ha.d,on 1268 spectra(41 nights of observation)recorded between the years 1994 a.d 1997 at the Observatory of Haute Provence(OHP,France)previously observed by Chadid a.d Gillet,a.d on the other ha.d on 1569 spectra(46nights of observation)recorded at our Oukaimeden Observatory(Morocco)between 2015 a.d *** this study,we have detected information on atmospheric dynamics that had not previously been ***,the Van Hoof effect which results in a clear correlation between the radial velocities of hydrogen a.d those of the metallic lines has been observed a.d ana.yzed at different Blazhko phases.A correlation between the radial velocities of different metallic lines located in the lower atmosphere has been observed as *** the first time,we were able to show that the amplitude of the radial velocity curves deduced from the lines of hydrogen a.d that of FeⅡ(λ4923.921?)increases towa.d the minimum of the Blazhko cycle a.d decreases towa.d the maximum of the same Blazhko ***,we found that the Van Hoof effect is also modulated by the Blazhko ***,towa.d the minimum of the Blazhko cycle the Van Hoof effect is more visible a.d at the maximum of the Blazhko cycle,this effect is *** also observed the temporal evolution of the amplitudes of the radial velocities of the lower a.d upper *** observed over a long time,we can interpret it as a function of the Blazhko phases.

Smart prediction of liquefaction-induced lateral spreading

The prediction of liquefaction-induced lateral spreading/displacement(dh)is a challenging task for civil/geotechnical *** this study,a new approach is proposed to predict dh using gene expression programming(GEP).Based on statistical reasoning,individual models were developed for two topographies:free-face a.d gently sloping *** with a comparison with conventional approaches for predicting the dh,four a.ditional regression-based soft computing models,*** process regression(GPR),relevance vector machine(RVM),sequential minimal optimization regression(SMOR),a.d M5-tree,were developed a.d compared with the GEP *** results indicate that the GEP models predict dh with less bias,as evidenced by the root mean square error(RMSE)a.d mean absolute error(MAE)for training(i.e.1.092 a.d 0.815;a.d 0.643 a.d 0.526)a.d for testing(i.e.0.89 a.d 0.705;a.d 0.773 a.d 0.573)in free-face a.d gently sloping ground topographies,*** overall performance for the free-face topology was ranked as follows:GEP>RVM>M5-tree>GPR>SMOR,with a total score of 40,32,24,15,a.d 10,*** the gently sloping condition,the performance was ranked as follows:GEP>RVM>GPR>M5-tree>SMOR with a total score of 40,32,21,19,a.d 8,***,the results of the sensitivity ana.ysis showed that for both free-face a.d gently sloping ground,the liquefiable layer thickness(T_(15))was the major parameter with percentage deterioration(%d)value of 99.15 a.d 90.72,respectively.
