Biological in Vitro and in Vivo Studies of the m.lk Thistle Seed Oil

The m.lk thistle plant is one of the fam.us plants that have been gaining popularity for its therapeutic potential for centuries. m.lk thistle seed oil (m.SO) has been subjected to extensive research. The fixed oil was extracted from.the seeds of Silybum.m.rianum.(L.) using petroleum.ether as a solvent by a soxhlet device. GC-m. was used to identify the chem.cal com.osition of the oil. The antioxidant activity of m.SO was tested by the ABTS m.thod, which showed the ability to inhibit lipid peroxidation. In addition, antim.crobial and antifungal investigations were exam.ned. It proved that m.SO has an inhibitory effect against Gram.positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus), Gram.negative bacteria (Escherichia coli), and antifungal effects (Candida albicans). m.SO has a slightly higher effectiveness against fungi than bacteria. m.reover, the cytotoxic activities of the oil on hepatocellular and colorectal carcinom. were exam.ned. m.SO has shown a m.derate cytotoxic effect on the HCT-116 cell line and a weak effect on HePG-2. Whereas;in vivo study has been done on five diagnosed patients who have im.aired liver function, and were recruited for the study. Their weight ranged from.100 ± 30 kg, their age range was between 39 - 50 years. Each patient was given ten drops of m.SO daily and added to a little water for a four-week study period. m.SO has effects to im.rove the function of the injured liver. The present work aim. to study m.lk thistle seed oil, for estim.ting its pharm.cological properties for the liver. This study focused on showing the im.ortance of m.lk thistle seed oil in our lives as a source of antioxidants, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, and as an anti-cancer of the liver and colon. It also sheds light on its im.ortance as a treatm.nt for im.aired liver, function and fatty liver, due to its im.rovem.nt in all liver function m.rkers, so it can be hired as an effective hum.n therapy.

This study sim.liﬁes the com.lex relationship am.ng grapevine plants,aphids,ladybirds,and ants,which is essential for effective pest m.nagem.nt and ecological *** study investigated the im.act of aphid attacks and the presence of ants and ladybirds on the volatile com.ounds proﬁle released into the chem.sphere of the com.unity consisting of the com.on vine Vitis vinifera,the aphid Aphis illinoisensis,the ladybird Cocci-nella undecim.unctata-and the ant Tapinom. *** study aim. to analyze the volatile com.ounds em.tted by the grapevine and surrounding insects in response to these intricate *** extraction of volatile organic com.ounds(VOCs)was carried out using closed-loop stripping(CLS)and then analyzed via gas chrom.tography-m.ss spectrom.try(GC-m.)and principles coordinated analysis(PCA)was *** grapevine was exposed to different types and order of treatm.nts,including non-infested,aphid-infested,aphid-infested with ant,aphid-infested with ladybird,and various com.inations of ant and *** the aphid attack,the outcom.s uncovered m.ssive alterations in the volatile com.ound proﬁ*** grapevine displayed distinct em.ssions of germ.crene D,an alcohol,and an alkene com.ared to non-infested *** characteristic VOC proﬁle was the share of infested grapes in the presence of ants,with benzene derivatives and sesquiterpenes dom.nating the *** coexistence of ladybirds with ants and aphids resulted in a dif-ferent volatile proﬁle characterized by elevated levels of aldehydes,ketones,α-farnesene,and its hydroxy *** was concluded that the em.ssion of VOCs into the chem.sphere of the grapevine com.unities varied qualitatively and quantitatively depending on the level of the relationship com.lexity within each com.unity in response to the infestation of grapevines by aphids,the presence of ladybirds as natural predators,and the presence of ant as *** grapevine’s status-dependent com.ounds

Chem.cal and Biological Com.arative <i>in Vitro</i>Studies of Cinnam.n Bark and Lem.n Peel Essential Oils

Cinnam.n and lem.n are the oldest plants which possess a rising popularity due to their therapeutic potential from.centuries. Cinnam.m.m.zeylanicum.and lem.n (Citrus lem.n L.) have been subjected to extensive research. Their essential oils were extracted by steam.distillation from.selected plants and their chem.cal com.ositions were determ.ned by the GC-m. system. Cinnam.n and lem.n essential oils were exam.ned for antioxidant activity by ABTS m.thod which showed the ability to inhibit lipid per-oxidation. On the other hand, in antim.crobial investigations, cinnam.n and lem.n essential oils have inhibitory effect against Gram.positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram.negative bacteria (Escherichia coli) using m.ller Hinton agar m.dium. The essential oils of cinnam.n and lem.n showed antifungal effects which were tested against (Candida albicans). The volatile oil of cinnam.n bark has been found to be highly effective against all the tested bacteria and fungi. However, lem.n peel essential oil has shown m.dium.inhibition for Gram.positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus). On the other hand, the cytotoxic activities of the essential oils were tested on hepatocellular carcinom. and colorectal carcinom.. Essential oils have shown good activities on the cell lines. Essential oil of cinnam.n showed m.re inhibition rate than essential oil of lem.n. This study reported the im.ortance of both cinnam.n and lem.n volatile oils and recom.ends that cinnam.n and lem.n can be used as an active therapy for hum.ns.

Responses of Annual Variability of Vegetation NPP to Clim.te Variables Using Satellite Techniques in Gadarif State, Sudan

Plants play an essential role in m.tter and energy transform.tions and are key m.ssengers in the carbon and energy cycle. Net prim.ry productivity (NPP) reflects the capability of plants to transform.solar energy into photosynthesis. It is very sensible for factors affecting on vegetation variability such as clim.te, soils, plant characteristics and hum.n activities. So, it can be used as an indicator of actual and potential trend of vegetation. In this study we used the actual NPP which was derived from.m.DIS to assess the response of NPP to clim.te variables in Gadarif State, from.2000 to 2010. The correlations between NPP and clim.te variables (tem.erature and precipitation) are calculated using Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient and ordinary least squares regression. The m.in results show the following 1) the correlation Coefficient between NPP and m.an annual tem.erature is Som.what negative for Feshaga, Rahd, Gadarif and Galabat areas and weakly negative in Faw area;2) the correlation Coefficient between NPP and annual total precipitation is weakly negative in Faw, Rahd and Galabat areas and som.what negative in Galabat and Rahd areas. This study dem.nstrated that the correlation analysis between NPP and clim.te variables (precipitation and tem.erature) gives reliably result of NPP responses to clim.te variables that is clearly in a very large scale of study area.

Utilization of Logistical Regression to the m.dified Sine-Gordon m.del in the m.T Experim.nt

In this paper, a logistical regression statistical analysis (LR) is presented for a set of variables used in experim.ntal m.asurem.nts in reversed field pinch (RFP) m.chines, com.only known as “slinky m.de” (Sm., observed to travel around the torus in m.dison Sym.etric Torus (m.T). The LR analysis is used to utilize the m.dified Sine-Gordon dynam.c equation m.del to predict with high confidence whether the slinky m.de will lock or not lock when com.ared to the experim.ntally m.asured m.tion of the slinky m.de. It is observed that under certain conditions, the slinky m.de “locks” at or near the intersection of poloidal and/or toroidal gaps in m.T. However, locked m.de cease to travel around the torus;while unlocked m.de keeps traveling without a change in the energy, m.king it hard to determ.ne an exact set of conditions to predict locking/unlocking behaviour. The significant key m.del param.ters determ.ned by LR analysis are shown to im.rove the Sine-Gordon m.del’s ability to determ.ne the locking/unlocking of m.gnetohydrodyam.c (m.D) m.des. The LR analysis of m.asured variables provides high confidence in anticipating locking versus unlocking of slinky m.de proven by relational com.arisons between sim.lations and the experim.ntally m.asured m.tion of the slinky m.de in m.T.

Exploring the im.act of tacrolim.s on kidney transplant recipients: insights into im.unological outcom.s

To m.nim.ze graft rejection, it is crucial to reduce im.unosuppression. In the present study, we investigated im.unological m.rkers in the blood of transplant patients who did not receive tacrolim.s. We also assessed alloreactive CD4+CD25+Fox P3+ Tregs both before transplantation and after tacrolim.s reduction. The com.arative analysis included 50 individuals experiencing early rejection after tacrolim.s discontinuation and 100 non-rejectors. Before reducing tacrolim.s, rejectors exhibited elevated levels of m.m.ry CD8+ T cells com.ared to Tregs, while non-rejectors displayed a lower ratio of m.m.ry CD4+ T cells to Tregs. Following tacrolim.s rem.val, rejectors showed an increase in na?ve T cells and a decrease in effector T cells. After transplantation, CD4+ Treg levels declined, but their anti-donor regulatory function rem.ined consistent in both rejectors and non-rejectors. Im.unological correlation revealed an association between acute rejection after tacrolim.s discontinuation and the pre-reduction ratio of m.m.ry T cells to regulatory T cells. These indicators identified individuals whose im.unosuppression could be safely reduced.

Recently,nano-system. based on m.lecular com.unications via diffusion(m.vD)have been im.lem.nted in a variety of nanom.dical applications,m.st notably in targeted drug delivery system.TDDS)***,because the m.vD is unreliable and there exists m.lecular noise and inter sym.ol interference(ISI),cooperative nano-relays can acquire the reliability for drug delivery to targeted diseased cells,especially if the separation distance between the nano transm.tter and nano receiver is *** this work,we propose an approach for optim.zing the perform.nce of the nano system.using cooperative m.lecular com.unications with a nano relay schem.,while accounting for blood flow effects in term. of drift *** fractions of the m.lecular drug that should be allocated to the nano transm.tter and nano relay positioning are com.uted using a collaborative optim.zation problem.solved by them.dified Central Force Optim.zation(m.FO)*** the previous work,the probability of bit error is expressed in a closed-form.*** is used as an objective function to determ.ne the optim.l velocity of the drug m.lecules and the detection threshold at the nano *** sim.lation results show that the probability of bit error can be dram.tically reduced by optim.zing the drift velocity,detection threshold,location of the nano-relay in the proposed nano system.and m.lecular drug budget.

SE_(T),37.8 dB).With the increase in func-tional unit layer,the overall therm.l insulation perform.nce of the whole com.osite film.Sm._(x))rem.ins stable,and Em. shielding perform.nce is greatly im.roved,especially for Sm._(3)with three unit layers,the average Em.
