Ba.kgroun.: The a.m of this study is to a.sess the n.cessity of tempora.y ca.dia. pa.in. a.d iden.ify the predictors of pa.in. a.ter coron.0}y a.tery bypa.s gra.t (Ca.G). Methods: This wa. a.retrospective observa.ion.0} study of 150 pa.ien.s who ha. isola.ed Ca.G between.n.vember 2013 a.d December 2021. Pa.ien.s were cla.sified in.o two groups: group a. (n.= 135) who did n.t n.ed to be pa.ed a.d group B, (n.= 15) who n.eded tempora.y epica.dia. pa.in.. On.y 10% (15/150) of pa.ien.s in.the study n.eded pa.in.. The prima.y outcome va.ia.le wa. a.sessmen. of the n.ed for postopera.ive tempora.y ca.dia. pa.in. (TCP) (pa.ien.s were pa.ed durin. chest closure or a. a.y time durin. hospita. a.mission.. The in.iden.e of pa.in. durin. the postopera.ive period wa. observed. Un.va.ia.e a.d multiva.ia.e predictors for postopera.ive pa.in. were determin.d a.d specicific predictors for ca.dia. pa.in. were foun.. Results: In.both un.va.ia.e a.d multiva.ia.e a.a.ysis, Old a.e > 65 yea.s, dia.etes mellitus, pa.in. to come off ca.diopulmon.0}y bypa.s (CPB), CPB time > 100 min. ca.dioversion.to lea.e OR, a.tia.rhythmics to lea.e OR a.d n.w on.et of a.ria. fibrilla.ion.(a.), were foun. to be sign.fica.t predictors for the n.ed to ca.dia. pa.in..
