The design of micro-finned tube hea. excha.gers is a.complex ta.k due to intrica.e geometry, hea. tra.sfer goa.s, ma.eria. selection, a.d ma.ufa.turing cha.lenges. Nowa.a.s, ma.hema.ica. models provide va.ua.le insights, a.d in optimiza.ion, a.d a.low us to explore va.ious design pa.a.eters efficiently. However, existing empirica. models often fa.l short in fa.ilita.ing a. optima. design beca.se of their limited a.cura.y, sensitivity to a.sumption, a.d context dependency. In this scena.io, the use of Ma.hine a.d Deep Lea.ning (ML a.d DL) methods ca. enha.ce a.cura.y, ma.a.e nonlinea.ity, a.just to va.ying conditions, decrea.e dependence on a.sumptions, a.toma.ica.ly extra.t pertinent fea.ures, a.d provide sca.a.ility. Indeed, ML a.d DL techniques ca. derive va.ua.le insights from da.a.ets, contributing to a.comprehensive understa.ding. By mea.s of multiple ML a.d DL methods, this pa.er a.dresses the cha.lenge of estima.ing key pa.a.eters in micro-finned tube hea. excha.gers such a. the hea. tra.sfer coefficient (HTC) a.d frictiona. pressure drop (FPD). The methods ha.e been tra.ned a.d tested using a. experimenta. da.a.et consisting of over a.thousa.d da.a.points a.socia.ed with flow condensa.ion, involving va.ious tube geometries. In this context, the a.tificia. Neura. Network (a.N) demonstra.es superior performa.ce in a.cura.ely estima.ing pa.a.eters with Ma.s in the ra.ge below 4.5% for both HTC a.d FPD. Fina.ly, recognizing the importa.ce of comprehending the interna. mecha.isms of the bla.k-box a.N model, the pa.er explores its interpreta.ility a.pects.
