Proteomic-based evidence for adult neurogenesis in birds and mammals as indicated from cerebrospinal fluid

Advancements in Imaging Sensors and Al for Plant Stress Detection:A Systematic Literature Review

Integrating imaging sensors and artificial intelligence(Al)have contributed to detecting plant stress symptoms,yet data analysis remains a key *** challenges include standardized data collection,analysis protocols,selection of imaging sensors and Al algorithms,and finally,data ***,we present a systematic literature review(SLR)scrutinizing plant imaging and Al for identifying stress *** performed a scoping review using specific keywords,namely abiotic and biotic stress,machine learning,plant imaging and deep ***,we used programmable bots to retrieve relevant papers published since *** total,2,704 papers from 4 databases(Springer,ScienceDirect,PubMed,and Web of Science)were found,accomplished by using a second layer of keywords(e.g.,hyperspectral imaging and supervised learning).To bypass the limitations of search engines,we selected OneSearch to unify *** carefully reviewed 262 studies,summarizing key trends in Al algorithms and imaging *** demonstrated that the increased availability of open-source imaging repositories such as PlantVillage or Kaggle has strongly contributed to a widespread shift to deep learning,requiring large datasets to train in stress symptom *** review presents current trends in Al-applied algorithms to develop effective methods for plant stress detection using image-based *** example,regression algorithms have seen substantial use since ***,we offer an overview of the course ahead for Al and imaging technologies to predict stress ***,this SLR highlights the potential of Al imaging in both biotic and abiotic stress detection to overcome challenges in plant data analysis.

Influence of an External DC Electric Current on Plasma Cleaning Rate: an Application on the Enlarged Plasma-Surface Theor

During the last decades many researchers have been occupied with other plasma applications apart from the big challenge which the thermonuclear fusion poses. Many experiments have been carried out on the plasma behavior in contact with a solid surface; when the surface material consists of chemical compounds （e.g. oxides of metals）, then the plasma chemistry takes place. The present paper contains the final experimental and theoretical work of Plasma Laboratory at ＂Demokritos＂, which consists of an elaboration of plasma sheath parameters adapted to experimental conditions, a suitable choice of plasma gases （either H 2 or N 2 ）, and an electric po-tential current enforcement on objects. Additionally, a brief theory is given to explain the results, with a short reference to both boundary phenomena in thermonuclear reactors and low pressure plasma of glow discharges, so as to reveal the similarities and differences of these two cases. An extensive examination of the treated objects by X-ray diffraction method （XRD） gives results in agreement with the theoretical predictions. Using this improvement on plasma restoration system, （a combination of electric current on metallic object into suitable plasma）, it is shown that better results can be achieved on the cleaning and conservation of archaeological objects.

Probing top-quark couplings indirectly at Higgs factories

We perform a global effective-field-theory analysis to assess the combined precision of Higgs couplings, triple gauge-boson couplings, and top-quark couplings, at future circular e＋e- colliders, with a focus on runs below the tt-production threshold. Deviations in the top-quark sector entering as one-loop corrections are consistently taken into account in the Higgs and diboson processes. We find that future lepton colliders running at center-of-mass energies below the tt production threshold can still provide useful information on top-quark couplings, by measuring virtual top-quark effects. With rate and differential measurements, the indirect individual sensitivity achievable is better than at the high-luminosity LHC. However, strong correlations between the extracted top-quark and Higgs couplings are also present and lead to much weaker global constraints on top-quark couplings. This implies that a direct probe of top-quark couplings above the t~ production threshold is also helpful for the determination of Higgs and triple-gauge-boson couplings. In addition, we find that below the e＋e- -＋tth production threshold, the top-quark Yukawa coupling can be determined by its loop corrections to all Higgs production and decay channels. Degeneracy with the ggh coupling can be resolved, and even a global limit is competitive with the prospects of a linear collider above the threshold. This provides an additional means of determining the top-quark Yukawa coupling indirectly at lepton colliders.
