The global population during the last 100 years has increased from 2 to 7.7 billion,causing an increase in greenhouse gases in the *** order to see how population increase is directly related to physical v.riables of the climate,this Perspectiv. article places observ.tions and scenarios of climate change into context and puts forth a statistical modeling study on how the sensitiv. Arctic climate responds to the increasing *** relationships between population,Arctic sea-ice extent(SIE),and surface air temperature(SAT)are v.ry strong,with the increasing population explaining 96%of the decreasing SIE and about 80%of the increasing SAT in the *** projection for the SIE using the population as a“proxy predictor”for a projected population of 10 billion people on the Earth in 2100,yields a SIE of 9.30 and 8.21 million km 2 for a linear and squared relationship,respectiv.ly,indicating no“tipping point”for the annual ice extent in this *** adds another dimension to climate understanding for the public at large using population as a proxy v.riable,instead of the more abstract CO_(2)*** also indicates that it is important to attempt to limit the ongoing increase in population,which is the main cause of the greenhouse gas emissions,in addition to reducing per capita emissions by an exponential increase in implementing renewable energy,a formidable challenge in this century.

The Arctic sea-ice cov.r has decreased in extent,area,and thickness ov.r the last six *** global climate models project that the summer sea-ice extent(SIE)will decline to less than 1 million(mill.)km^(2) in this century,ranging from 2030 to the end of the century,indicating large ***,some models,using the same emission scenarios as required by the Paris Agreement to keep the global temperature below 2°C,indicate that the SIE could be about 2 ***^(2) in 2100 but with a large uncertainty of±1.5 ***^(2).Here,the authors take another approach by exploring the direct relationship between the SIE and atmospheric CO_(2) concentration for the summer-fall *** authors correlate the SIE and In(CO_(2)/CO_(2)r)during the period 1979-2022,where CO_(2)r is the reference v.lue in *** these transient regression equations with an R2 between 0.78 and 0.87,the authors calculate the v.lue that the CO_(2) concentration needs to reach for zero *** results are that,for July,the CO_(2) concentration needs to reach 691±16.5 ppm,for August 604±16.5 ppm,for September 563±17.5 ppm,and for October 620±21 *** v.lues of CO_(2)for an ice-free Arctic are much higher than the targets of the Paris Agreement,which are 450 ppm in 2060 and 425 ppm in 2100,under the IPCC SSP1-2.6 *** these targets can be reached or ev.n almost reached,the "no tipping point"hypothesis for the summer SIE may be v.lid.

In this study,we determined the lev.ls of cytokine secretory inhibitors and the microbiota biofilms of semen from healthy and infertile subjects.A total of 118 clinical bacterial isolates were isolated and *** secretory inhibitors were determined based on the difference in cytokine content between the control and experimental samples of cell-free supernatants of isolated *** formation was studied by determining the adhesion of microorganisms to the surface of a 96-well sterile plate and expressed as the optical density at 630 nm(OD_(630)).Cell-free supernatants of Staphylococcus contained higher lev.ls of secretory inhibitor of cytokines in conditionally healthy than in infertile *** contrast,in infertile men,the ability to reduce cytokine lev.ls was more characteristic of Enterococcus and *** Staphylococcus,Corynebacterium,and Enterococcus isolated from infertile subjects showed a greater ability to form biofilms than the same bacteria isolated from healthy *** research is needed on this topic,since it is necessary to determine the relationships between decreased secretory inhibitors of cytokines,production of biofilms by bacteria in semen,and *** is likely that the ability of microorganisms to change the concentration of cytokines and increase the lev.l of biofilm formation in semen may be associated with minimal impairments of fertilizing ability,which are not detected using other methods.

To explore pharmaceutical actinobacteria from salty env.ronments in Siberia,8 soil samples were collected from different depths of Gudzhirganskoe saline lake,the Republic of Buryatia,***,635 actinobacterial strains affiliated with 21 genera in 12 families of 7 orders were obtained by culture-dependent *** predominant genus was Streptomyces(74.5%),followed by Microbacterium(4.9%),Agromyces(3.5%),Nocardiopsis(3.0%),and Kitasatospora(2.5%).Sev.n strains showed relativ.ly low 16 S rRNA similarities(v.lidly described ***-sev.n strains were selected as representativ.s to ev.luate their antimicrobial activ.ties and underlying mechanisms by paper-disk diffusion method and a double fluorescent protein reporter system(pDualrep 2),*** sp.S 6 b 3-1 was highlighted due to its strong inhibitory activ.ties against Gram-positiv. bacteria and underlying antibacterial mechanism by inducing the SOS response in the reporter ***-1,(R)-6-[1-(benzoyloxy)ethyl]-phenazine-1-carboxylic acid,an analogue of saphenamycin was finally isolated from the culture broth of Streptomyces *** study preliminarily explored the actinobacterial div.rsity of soil samples collected in the highly alkaline and saline lake Gudzhirganskoe by culture-dependent approach and their capacity to produce antibiotics for the first time,which rev.aled that it deserv.s to make more efforts to discov.r new actinobacterial species and potential new antibiotics from the saline lake in Eastern Siberia.

Recsod? has been used for treating epilepsy and ophthalmological disease. Oxidativ. stress has been demonstrated to be a pathogenic chain of these diseases. Parameters of pro- and antioxidant systems were studied in all the patients treated. Recsod? drug was shown to produce positiv. effect in all the patients. Improv.ment of patients’ clinical condition correlated with an increase in antioxidant activ.ties. Antioxidants, in particular, the recombinant human SOD drug, prov.d to be effectiv. in treatment of some neurological and ophthalmological diseases.

The large reserv.s ofoil are disposed in zones of permafrost in shelf and continental fields. In Europe the subarctic and arctic tundra are abundant only in Nenetsky autonomous area and in the north-east of the republic of Komi. Oil and gas production activ.ty has threatened richest biological resources and health of the population of the region. A singularity of petroliferous fields of the north of Russia is the existence of the thick strata of permafrost. On top of them different heat-insulating ov.rlying layers （snow, biogenic cov.rs） reside. State and dynamics of permafrost cause progressing dangerous exogenic geoecological processes, which are exhibited completely. State of permafrost is instituted by exchange of heat in near-surface strata of a geological section. During the dev.lopment of oil fields there is a disturbance of a temperature schedule of permafrost. For estimation of technical attack the analytical computational method of influence of the different factors on v.lue of annual heat exchange and prediction of geocryological conditions is proposed. It is shown, that such dangerous phenomena as degradation of permafrost and thermokarst would dev.lop in the first place, which would cause the destruction of natural ecosystems.

In this study,we examined the effect of synanthropic house mouse(Mus musculus)urine odor on catching probability of small mammals to liv. *** conducted a series of field experiments in August 2016 and 2017 in a natural forests of the northwestern Moscow Region(Russia).Small mammals were trapped at two 4-ha fields using capture-mark-recapture technique by setting 200 liv. traps(100 points,2 traps per point)within each *** trap in each pair was odorless(control)with bait only,whereas the other one was odor-baited with 20μL of the urine of a synanthropic house *** analysis was based on the data collected from 2 rodent species(bank v.le Myodes glareolus,herb field mouse Apodemus uralensis)and 3 shrew species(common shrew Sorex araneus,Laxmann’s shrew Sorex caecutiens,and Eurasian pygmy shrew Sorex minutus).As a result,only bank v.les significantly av.ided odor-baited liv. *** generalized linear mixed models,we showed that the choice of a trap by bank v.les depended on their age,whereas the probability of repeated capture to a certain liv. trap was related to their prior *** discuss the possible role of components of synanthropic house mouse urine in the population management of exoanthropic small mammals.
