Nickel sulfate solution fluoride separation with hydrous zirconium oxide

Fluoride is an impurity in nickel sulfate production,which is required for electric vehicle *** zirconium oxide(HZO)was evaluated for removing fl uoride from nickel sulfate *** fluoride removal occurred at pH value 4 and optimal pH value is 4–5,considering Zr *** availability decreases with pH due to hydrogen fluoride and zirconium fluoride aqueous *** removal is initially rapid,with 50 wt.%removal in 7 min,followed by slow removal up to 68 wt.%after 72 h and follows second order rate *** removal was dominated by an ion exchange mechanism and resulting Zr–F bonds were observed using Fourier-transform infrared *** presence of nickel sulfate decreased loading capacity compared to a salt-free *** maintained adsorption capacity through five cycles of loading and regeneration.

In this report we investigated two-dimensionally triptycene end-capped QPPs in terms of their solution and solid-state *** this purpose,a triphenylene based ortho-diamine decorated with two triptycenyl units as well as a phenylene diamine with two non-annulated triptycene units have been *** of condensation reactions with a pyrene-based tetraketone and ortho-diamines yielded a series of QPPs and UV/Vis investigations of the corresponding compounds led to the conclusion,that the QPPs form dimers in solution,which was further supported by ***-crystal X-ray analysis of the triply and quadruply triptycene end-capped QPPs furthermore showed shortπ-π-distances of 3.3-3.4?and a perfect shape match during the dimerization of the triply triptycenyl end-capped QPP making it possible synthon for crystal engineering.

Anticancer Activity of Peganum harmala and Haloxylon salicornicum Leaf Extracts on Lung Cancer A549 and Prostate Cancer PC-3 Cell Lines

Cancer is a worldwide disease that ranks as the second-largest cause of death after cardiovascular disease. In 2019, the estimated number of cancer deaths was around 10 million worldwide and 600,000 in the United States. Due to the high side effects of the available treatments for cancer, such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, a demand for alternative treatments has been a goal for scientists with less toxicity and side effects. Lung cancer is the most common type of cancer worldwide and the leading cause of death in the United States. In addition, prostate cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death in American men after lung cancer. Natural sources discovered to have therapeutic medicinal properties against human diseases are the plants Peganum harmala and Haloxylon salicornicum. The aim of this study is to test the anticancer activity of leaf extracts of Peganum harmala and Haloxylon salicornicum on lung cancer (A549) and prostate cancer (PC3) cell lines. The anticancer activity of P. harmala and H. salicornicum was studied using the assays: crystal violet viability, lipid peroxidation, and caspase-3 techniques, which were evaluated in vitro on two human cancer cell lines. The results of the study showed that both plants’ extracts reduced the viability of both cancer cell lines, which depended on the concentration of the extract. Also, P. harmala showed more potent activity against both types of cancer than H. salicornicum. P. harmala and H. salicornicum decreased the lipid peroxidation that induces cancer as well as increased the expression of caspase-3, which causes apoptosis and cell death. This study concluded that P. harmala and H. salicornicum leaf extracts showed significant anticancer properties, which might be due to the presence of phytochemicals, including flavonoids and phenolics.

巴西磷酸盐工业一工厂的磷灰石的生产流程一般包括:磨矿;粗细粒分级;磁选(弱磁和强磁);脱泥工艺(除去颗粒小于10μm);重晶石浮选和磷灰石浮选。研究了位于巴西戈亚斯州的Copebras工业磷矿厂的泥浆样品中的磷灰石含量,结果显示原矿中含有13.2%P_2O_5;14%CaO;19.7%SiO_2和27.7%Fe_2O_3,相当于含磷灰石(32%),针铁矿(25%),石英(18%),磷钡铝矿(5.2%).颗粒尺寸分布特征表明:特征直径(D_(32),D_(10),D_(50)和D_(90))分别为2.6μm,1.0μm,5.7μm和25μm。考虑水力旋流器(40 mm)将工艺流程分两个阶段进行脱泥,然后通过浮选柱进行磷灰石浮选,得到含有35.6%P_2O_5和主要杂质为Fe_2O_3(4.0%)和SiO_2(5.1%)的精矿,考虑到脱泥和浮选过程的质量平衡,总体回收率约为11%,P2O5回收率为30%.

2006年，美国地质调查局（USGS）完成了对可用的2D和3D地震数据的解释和分析后，提出了一个确定阿拉斯加北部milne Point区域永冻带下气体水合物稳定带内的水合物矿藏的可行办法。为了验证USGS的预测并获得关键的储层数据，也是为了形成长期生产测试计划发展的需要，2007年2月，在mount elbert矿区进行的钻井取得了多种测井数据和岩芯数据，并将这些数据用来估算水合物原位饱和度及储层属性。气体水合物饱和度可根据不同的测井数据估算，如核磁共振（NmR），P波与S波速度，电阻率以及孔隙水盐度等。根据NmR测井数据估算的气体水合物饱和度与通过P波和S波估算的结果非常吻合。由于原生水的低盐度及低的形成温度，原生水的电阻率与页岩的电阻率是相当的，因此在利用电阻率测井数据准确估算气体水合物饱和度时，必需解决粘土的影响。确定二个气体水合物高饱和区段，上部区段的厚度约43ft，平均气体水合物饱和度为54％，下部区段厚度53ft，平均气体水合物饱和度为50％，二个区段的最大饱和度都达到75％。
