The.e.fe.ts of fre.h zucchini on nutritional status, and biolog.cal indicators for the.pre.e.tion of cardiovascular dise.se.in rats fe. hig.-fat die.s inve.tig.te. in this study. Thirty Sprag.e.Dawle. rats we.e.randomly divide. into two main g.oups the.first, ne.0}tive.control g.oup Co (-) (n = 6), fe. basal die., The.se.ond g.oup (n = 24) fe. hig.-fat die. (containing.basal die. + 5% tallow + 1% chole.te.ol + 0.02% bile.salt). This g.oup was divide. into four subg.oups e.ch g.oup 6 rats: g.oup positive.control co (+) fe. hig.-fat die. only, g.oup 1 (g.(1)) fe. hig.-fat die. plus 10% zucchini, g.oup 2 (g.(2) fe. hig.-fat die. plus 15% zucchini and g.oup 3 (g.(3)) fe. hig.-fat die. plus 20% zucchini. The.le.els of se.um total chole.te.ol (TC), trig.yce.ide.(Tg., hig.-de.sity lipoprote.n chole.te.ol (HDL-C) and low-de.sity lipoprote.n chole.te.ol (LDL-C) we.e.me.sure. afte. e.g.t wk. of e.pe.ime.tal tre.tme.t. The.patholog.c chang.s of the.he.rt, sple.n and kidne. we.e.e.aluate.. SPSS, one.way ANOVA was use. to analyze.the.re.ults. The.re.ults indicate. that the.me.n value. of body we.g.t g.in (BWg. and fe.d e.ficie.cy ratio (FIR) in g.(2) and g.(3) showe. sig.ificant de.re.se.compare. to co (-), co (+) and g.1. The.re.ults showe. that in g.oups (g., g. and g.) the.relative.we.g.t of he.rt had sig.ificant incre.se.whe. compare. with control ne.0}tive.g.oup. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)are.ubiquitous e.vironme.tal contaminants of g.owing.conce.n due.to the.r pote.tial e.olog.cal and human he.lth *** study pre.e.ts a compre.e.sive.asse.sme.t of PAHs contamination in the.surface.se.ime.ts of Burullus Lake.a vital and se.ond larg.st delta lake.in *** aim was to e.aluate.the.e.o-toxicity and pote.tial he.lth risks associate. with the.pre.e.ce.of the.e.*** se.e. se.ime.t sample. we.e.colle.te. from various drains in the.southe.n part of Burullus *** e.traction me.hod was e.ploye. to e.tract PAHs(16PAHs)from the.se.ime.t ***,targ.t compounds we.e.locate. using.*** re.ults showe. that sample. containe.
