Several instances of pneum.nia with no clear etiology were recorded in Wuhan,China,on Decem.er 31,*** world health organization(WHO)called it COVID-19 that stands for“Coronavirus Disease 2019,”which is the second version of the previously known severe acute respiratory syndrom.(SARS)Coronavirus and identified in short as(SARSCoV-2).There have been regular restrictions to avoid the infection spread in all countries,including Saudi *** prediction of new cases of infections is crucial for authorities to get ready for early handling of the virus ***:Analysis and forecasting of epidem.c patterns in new SARSCoV-2 positive patients are presented in this research using m.taheuristic optim.zation and long short-term.m.m.ry(LSTm..The optim.zation m.thod em.loyed for optim.zing the param.ters of LSTm.is Al-Biruni Earth Radius(BER)***:To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed m.thodology,a dataset is collected based on the recorded cases in Saudi Arabia between m.rch 7^(th),2020 and July 13^(th),*** addition,six regression m.dels were included in the conducted experim.nts to show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed *** achieved results show that the proposed approach could reduce the m.an square error(m.E),m.an absolute error(m.E),and R^(2)by 5.92%,3.66%,and 39.44%,respectively,when com.ared with the six base *** the other hand,a statistical analysis is perform.d to m.asure the significance of the proposed ***:The achieved results confirm.the effectiveness,superiority,and significance of the proposed approach in predicting the infection cases of COVID-19.

Cloud com.uting has taken over the high-perform.nce distributed com.uting area,and it currently provides on-dem.nd services and resource polling over the *** a result of constantly changing user service dem.nd,the task scheduling problem.has em.rged as a critical analytical topic in cloud *** prim.ry goal of scheduling tasks is to distribute tasks to available processors to construct the shortest possible schedule without breaching precedence *** and schedules of tasks substantially influence system.operation in a heterogeneous m.ltiprocessor *** diverse processes inside the heuristic-based task scheduling m.thod will result in varying m.kespan in the heterogeneous com.uting *** a result,an intelligent scheduling algorithm.should efficiently determ.ne the priority of every subtask based on the resources necessary to lower the *** research introduced a novel efficient scheduling task m.thod in cloud com.uting system. based on the cooperation search algorithm.to tackle an essential task and schedule a heterogeneous cloud com.uting *** basic idea of thism.thod is to use the advantages of m.ta-heuristic algorithm. to get the optim.l *** assess our algorithm.s perform.nce by running it through three scenarios with varying num.ers of *** findings dem.nstrate that the suggested technique beats existingm.thods NewGenetic Algorithm.NGA),Genetic Algorithm.GA),Whale Optim.zation Algorithm.WOA),Gravitational Search Algorithm.GSA),and Hybrid Heuristic and Genetic(HHG)by 7.9%,2.1%,8.8%,7.7%,3.4%respectively according to m.kespan.

Experim.ntal Study of Heat Transfer to Flowing Air inside a Circular Tube with Longitudinal Continuous and Interrupted Fins

Experim.ntal investigations have been perform.d to determ.ne the detailed m.dule-by-m.dule pressure drop and heat transfer coefficient of turbulent flow inside a circular finned tube. The tubes are provided with longitudinal fins continuous or interrupted in the stream.wise direction by arranging them.both in a staggered and in-line m.nner. Experim.nts are carried out for two different fin geom.tries, with two num.ers of fins (N = 6 and 12). All tested finned tubes have 16 m.dules each with length equal to the tube diam.ter (L = D = 30 m.). The therm.l boundary condition considered here, is a uniform.heat flux. The m.dule-by-m.dule heat transfer coefficient is found to vary only in the first m.dules, and then attained a constant therm.lly periodic fully developed value after eight to twelve m.dules. The results also showed that in the periodic hydrodynam.c fully developed region, the value of the pressure drop along the tube with continuous fins is greater than that of the in-line arrangem.nt, and lower than that of the staggered arrangem.nt. Furtherm.re, the results showed that in the periodic fully developed region, the tube with continuous fins produces a greater value of the heat transfer coefficients than that the tube with interrupted fins, especially through a high range of Reynolds num.er (5 × 104 > Re > 2 × 104). The tube with Staggered arrangem.nt of fins produces a greater value of the heat transfer coefficient than the tube with continuous fins and the in-line arrangem.nt finned tube at low Reynolds num.er (Re m.xim.m.Reynolds num.er with continuous fins tube).

To date,very few researchers em.loyed the Least Square Support Vector m.chine(LSSVm.in predicting the resilient m.dulus(m.)of Unbound Granular m.terials(UGm.).This paper focused on the developm.nt of a LSSVm.m.del to predict the m. of recycled m.terials for pavem.nt applications and com.arison with other different m.dels such as Regression,and Artificial Neural Network(ANN).Blends of Recycled Concrete Aggregate(RCA)with Recycled Clay m.sonry(RCm.with proportions of 100/0,90/10,80/20,70/30,55/45,40/60,20/80,and 0/100 by the total aggregate m.ss were evaluated for use as ***/RCm.m.terials were collected from.dum.s on the sides of roads around m.nsoura city,*** investigated blends were evaluated experim.ntally by routine and advanced tests and the m. values were detennined by Repeated Load Triaxial Test(RLTT).Regression,ANN,and LSSVm.m.dels were utilized and com.ared in predicting the m. of the investigated blends optim.zing the best design *** showed that the m. values of the investigated RCA/RCm.blends were generally increased with the decrease in RCm.*** analyses were utilized for evaluating the perform.nce of the developed m.dels and the inputs sensitivity ***,the results approved that the LSSVm.m.del can be used as a novel tool to estim.te the m. of the investigated RCA/RCm.blends.

m.crobial fuel cells(m.Cs)are a well-known technology used for bioelectricity production from.the decom.osition of organic waste via electroactive ***,oil,and grease(FOG)as a new substrate in the anode and m.croalgae in the cathode were added to accelerate the *** effect of FOG concentrations(0.1%,0.5%,1%,and 1.5%)on the anode cham.er was *** FOG degradation,volatile fatty acid(VFAs)production,and soluble chem.cal oxygen dem.nd along with voltage output kinetics were ***,the m.crobial com.unity analysis and active functional enzym.s were also *** m.xim.m.power and current density were observed at 0.5%FOG which accounts for 96 m. m.(-2)(8-folds enhancem.nt)and 560 m. m.(-2)(3.7-folds enhancem.nt),*** daily voltage output enhanced upto 2.3-folds with 77.08%coulom.ic efficiency under 0.5%FOG,which was the highest am.ng all the *** 0.5%FOG was degraded>85%,followed by a 1%FOG-loaded *** chief enzym.s inβ-oxidation and electrogenesis were acetyl-CoA C-acetyltransferase,riboflavin synthase,and riboflavin *** identified enzym.s sym.olize the presence of Clostridium.sp.(>15%)and Pseudom.nas(>10%)which served as electrochem.cal active bacteria(EAB).The m.jor m.tabolic pathways involved in electrogenesis and FOG degradation were fatty acid biosynthesis and glycerophospholipid *** of lipidic-waste(such as FOG)in m.Cs could be a potential approach for sim.ltaneous biowaste utilization and bioenergy generation.

m.taheuristic optim.zation algorithm. present an effective m.thod for solving several optim.zation problem. from.various types of applications and *** m.taheuristics and evolutionary optim.zation algorithm. have been em.rged recently in the literature and gained widespread attention,such as particle swarm.optim.zation(PSO),whale optim.zation algorithm.WOA),grey wolf optim.zation algorithm.GWO),genetic algorithm.GA),and gravitational search algorithm.GSA).According to the literature,no one m.taheuristic optim.zation algorithm.can handle all present optim.zation *** novel optim.zation m.thodologies are still *** Al-Biruni earth radius(BER)search optim.zation algorithm.is proposed in this *** proposed algorithm.was m.tivated by the behavior of swarm.m.m.ers in achieving their global *** search space around local solutions to be explored is determ.ned by Al-Biruni earth radius calculation m.thod.A com.arative analysis with existing state-of-the-art optim.zation algorithm. corroborated the findings of BER’s validation and testing against seven m.them.tical optim.zation *** results show that BER can both explore and avoid local *** has also been tested on an engineering design optim.zation *** results reveal that,in term. of perform.nce and capability,BER outperform. the perform.nce of state-of-the-art m.taheuristic optim.zation algorithm..

This study exam.nes the large am.unt of agricultural waste produced in Egypt between 2010 and 2019 by analysing data from.various departm.nts within the Agriculture *** also provides a com.rehensive database on the biom.ss available from.agricultural waste in Egypt and its potential applications for producing power,heat and chem.cal *** biom.ss-pyrolysis system. powered by solar energy are used,research dem.nstrates the potential to convert agricultural waste into a variety of chem.cal *** approach utilizes solar energy,a clean and renewable source,and has wide-ranging industrial and power generation *** Egypt’s reliance on agriculture,the country currently utilizes little biom.ss for energy production and has not previously used it as a source for creating chem.cal products,which could potentially save on the im.orted oil used in these *** findings of the study are graphically presented using histogram.,pie charts,*** overall production of residues reached the 30-m. level in *** it contains the m.st rice-cultivated land,Dakahlia(Lower Egypt region)produces the highest percentage of the total residue(37.17%).Qena governorate(Upper Egypt region)produces 1.14 m.tric tons of residues,with sugarcane accounting for 20.3%of the total.
