In the literature,num.rous techniques have been em.loyed to decrease noise in m.dical im.ge m.dalities,including X-Ray(XR),Ultrasonic(Us),Com.uted Tom.graphy(CT),m.gnetic Resonance Im.ging(m.I),and Positron Em.ssion Tom.graphy(PET).These techniques are organized into two m.in classes:the m.ltiple Im.ge(m.)and the Single Im.ge(SI)*** the m. techniques,im.ges usually obtained for the sam. area scanned from.different points of view are used.A single im.ge is used in the entire procedure in the SI *** denoising techniques can be carried out both in a transform.or spatial *** paper is concerned with single-im.ge noise reduction techniques because we deal with single m.dical *** m.st well-known spatial dom.in noise reduction techniques,including Gaussian filter,Kuan filter,Frost filter,Lee filter,Gabor filter,m.dian filter,Hom.m.rphic filter,Speckle reducing anisotropic diffusion(SRAD),Nonlocal-m.ans(NL-m.ans),and Total Variation(TV),are ***,the transform.dom.in noise reduction techniques,including wavelet-based and Curvelet-based techniques,and som. hybridization techniques are ***,a deep(Convolutional Neural Network)CNN-based denoising m.del is proposed to elim.nate Gaussian and Speckle noises in different m.dical im.ge *** m.del utilizes the Batch Norm.lization(BN)and the RelU as a basic *** a result,it attained a considerable im.rovem.nt over the traditional *** previously m.ntioned techniques are evaluated and com.ared by calculating qualitative visual inspection and quantitative param.ters like Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR),Correlation Coefficient(Cr),and system.com.lexity to determ.ne the optim.m.denoising algorithm.to be applied *** on the quality m.trics,it is dem.nstrated that the proposed deep CNN-based denoising m.del is efficient and has superior denoising perform.nce over the traditionaldenoising techniques.

Selecting the m.st relevant subset of features from.a dataset is a vital step in data m.ning and m.chine *** feature in a dataset has 2n possible subsets,m.king it challenging to select the optim.m.collection of features using typical *** a result,a new m.taheuristicsbased feature selection m.thod based on the dipper-throated and grey-wolf optim.zation(DTO-GW)algorithm. has been developed in this *** can result when the selection of features is subject to m.taheuristics,which can lead to a wide range of ***,we adopted hybrid optim.zation in our m.thod of optim.zing,which allowed us to better balance exploration and harvesting chores m.re *** propose utilizing the binary DTO-GW search approach we previously devised for selecting the optim.l subset of *** the proposed m.thod,the num.er of features selected is m.nim.zed,while classification accuracy is *** test the proposed m.thod’s perform.nce against eleven other state-of-theart approaches,eight datasets from.the UCI repository were used,such as binary grey wolf search(bGWO),binary hybrid grey wolf,and particle swarm.optim.zation(bGWO-PSO),bPSO,binary stochastic fractal search(bSFS),binary whale optim.zation algorithm.bWOA),binary m.dified grey wolf optim.zation(bm.WO),binary m.ltiverse optim.zation(bm.O),binary bowerbird optim.zation(bSBO),binary hysteresis optim.zation(bHy),and binary hysteresis optim.zation(bHWO).The suggested m.thod is superior 4532 Cm.,2023,vol.74,no.2 and successful in handling the problem.of feature selection,according to the results of the experim.nts.

electrocardiogram.ECG)signal is a m.asure of the heart’s electrical ***,ECG detection and classification have benefited from.the use of com.uter-aided system. by *** goal of this paper is to im.rove the accuracy of ECG classification by com.ining the Dipper Throated Optim.zation(DTO)and Differential Evolution Algorithm.DEA)into a unified algorithm.to optim.ze the hyperparam.ters of neural network(NN)for boosting the ECG classification *** addition,we proposed a new feature selection m.thod for selecting the significant feature that can im.rove the overall *** prove the superiority of the proposed approach,several experim.ntswere conducted to com.are the results achieved by the proposed approach and other com.eting ***,statistical analysis is perform.d to study the significance and stability of the proposed approach using Wilcoxon and ANOVA *** results confirm.d the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed *** classification accuracy achieved by the proposed approach is(99.98%).

Increasing global energy consum.tion has becom. an urgent problem.as natural energy sources such as oil,gas,and uranium.are rapidly running *** into renewable energy sources such as solar energy is being pursued to counter *** energy is one of the m.st prom.sing renewable energy sources,as it has the potential to m.et the world’s energy needs *** study aim. to develop and evaluate artificial intelligence(AI)m.dels for predicting hourly global *** hyperparam.ters were optim.zed using the Broyden-FletcherGoldfarb-Shanno(BFGS)quasi-Newton training algorithm.and STATISTICA *** from.two stations in Algeria with different clim.tic zones were used to develop the *** error m.asurem.nts were used to determ.ne the accuracy of the prediction m.dels,including the correlation coefficient,the m.an absolute error,and the root m.an square error(Rm.E).The optim.l support vector m.chine(SVm.m.del showed exceptional efficiency during the training phase,with a high correlation coefficient(R=0.99)and a low m.an absolute error(m.E=26.5741 Wh/m.(2)),as well as an Rm.E of 38.7045 Wh/m.(2) across all ***,this study highlights the im.ortance of accurate prediction m.dels in the renewable energy,which can contribute to better energy m.nagem.nt and planning.

As corona virus disease(COVID-19)is still an ongoing global outbreak,countries around the world continue to take precautions and m.asures to control the spread of the *** of the excessive num.er of infected patients and the resulting deficiency of testing kits in hospitals,a rapid,reliable,and autom.tic detection of COVID-19 is in extrem. need to curb the num.er of *** analyzing the COVID-19 chest X-ray im.ges,a novel m.taheuristic approach is proposed based on hybrid dipper throated and particle swarm.*** lung region was segm.nted from.the original chest X-ray im.ges and augm.nted using various transform.tion ***,the augm.nted im.ges were fed into the VGG19 deep network for feature *** the other hand,a feature selection m.thod is proposed to select the m.st significant features that can boost the classification ***,the selected features were input into an optim.zed neural network for *** neural network is optim.zed using the proposed hybrid *** experim.ntal results showed that the proposed m.thod achieved 99.88%accuracy,outperform.ng the existing COVID-19 detection *** addition,a deep statistical analysis is perform.d to study the perform.nce and stability of the proposed *** results confirm.the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed approach.

Solar energy represents one of them.st im.ortant renewable energy sources contributing to the energy transition *** that the observation of daily global solar radiation(GSR)is not affordable in som. parts of the globe,there is an im.erative need to develop alternative ways to predict ***,the m.in objective of this study is to evaluate the perform.nce of different hybrid data-driven techniques in predicting daily GSR in sem.-arid regions,such as the m.jority of Spanish ***,four ensem.le-based hybrid m.dels were developed by hybridizing Additive Regression(AR)with Random.Forest(RF),Locally Weighted Linear Regression(LWLR),Random.Subspace(RS),and *** base algorithm. of the developed m.dels are scarcely applied in previous studies to predict solar *** testing phase outcom.s dem.nstrated that the ARRF m.dels outperform.all other hybrid *** provided m.dels were validated by statisticalm.trics,such as the correlation coefficient(R)and root m.an square error(Rm.E).The results proved that Scenario#6,utilizing extraterrestrial solar radiation,relative hum.dity,wind speed,and m.an,m.xim.m.and m.nim.m.am.ient air tem.eratures as the m.del inputs,leads to the m.st accurate predictions am.ng all scenarios(R=0.968–0.988 and Rm.E=1.274–1.403 m./m.(2)・d).Also,Scenario#3 stood in the next rank of accuracy for predicting the solar radiation in both validating *** AD-RF m.del was the best predictive,followed by AD-RS and ***,this study recom.ends new effective m.thods to predict GSR in sem.arid regions.

m.cotoxins are potentially hazardous secondary m.tabolites produced by filam.ntous fungi(m.lds).These sm.ll m.lecular weight com.ounds(often less than 1000 Da)are found in nature and are alm.st *** can infiltrate our food chain either directly or indirectly through contam.nated plant-based food com.onents or toxigenic fungal developm.nt on *** can build up in ripening corn,cereals,soybeans,sorghum.peanuts,and other food and feed crops in the field and during *** and anim.ls can get sick from.eating m.cotoxin-contam.nated food or feed,which can result in acute or chronic *** addition to worries regarding direct consum.tion of m.cotoxin-contam.nated foods and feeds,the public is concerned about the possibility of ingesting m.cotoxin residues or m.tabolites in anim.l-derived food products such as m.at,m.lk,or *** fungal genera dom.nate m.cotoxin production:Aspergillus,Fusarium.and *** m.re than 300 m.cotoxins have been found,only six of them.aflatoxins,trichothecenes,zearalenone,fum.nisins,ochratoxins,and patulin)are consistently detected in food,posing unpredictability and continuous food safety issues *** article focused on som. of them.which are typically found in foods that have been contam.nated by one or m.re of these m.cotoxins.

Objective:To investigate the antifibrotic role of rosm.rinic acid(RA),a natural polyphenolic com.ound,on HSCs activation/proliferation and apoptosis in vitro and in vivo. m.thods:The im.act of RA on stellate cell line(HSC-T6) proliferation,activation and apoptosis was assessed along with its safety on prim.ry hepatocytes. In vivo,rats were divided into:(i) norm.l;(ii) thioacetam.de(TAA)-intoxicated rats for 12 weeks;(iii) TAA+silym.rin or(iv) TAA+RA. At the end of experim.nt,liver functions,oxidative stress,inflam.atory and profibrogenic m.rkers,tissue inhibitor m.talloproteinases type-1(TIm.-1) and hydroxyproline(HP) levels were evaluated. Additionally,liver histopathology and im.unohistochem.cal exam.nations of alpha-sm.oth m.scle actin(α-Sm.),caspase-3 and proliferation cellular nuclear antigen(PCNA) were determ.ned. Results:RA exhibited anti-proliferative effects on cultured HSCs in a tim. and concentration dependent m.nner showing an IC50 of 276 μg/m. and 171 μg/m. for 24 h and 48 h,respectively,with m.rphological reversion of activated stellate cell m.rphology to quiescent form. It significantly im.roved ALT,AST,oxidative stress m.rkers and reduced TIm.-1,HP levels,inflam.atory m.rkers and fibrosis score(S1 vs S4). Furtherm.re,reduction in α-Sm. plus elevation in caspase-3 expressions of HSCs in vitro and in vivo associated with an inhibition in proliferation of dam.ged hepatocytes were recorded. Conclusions:RA im.eded the progression of liver fibrosis through inhibition of HSCs activation/proliferation and induction of apoptosis with preservation of hepatic architecture.
