Influence of beam current on microstructure of electron beam melted Ti-6Al-4V alloy

The defect microstructure of the samples manufactured from Ti-6A1-4V powder was studied using electron beam melting(EBM) in the beam current range of 17-13 *** hybrid digital complex combined positron lifetime spectroscopy and coincidence Doppler broadening spectroscopy was used to characterize the defect structure of the *** microstructure and defects were also analyzed by transmission electron *** has been established that the main type of the defects in the EBM manufactured samples is *** to the conducted measurements and calculations,the dislocation density in the EBM manufactured samples exceeds by two orders the similar value for the cast Ti-6Al-4 *** of Ti-Ti-Al nanoscale clusters has been found in the EBM manufactured samples.

BACKGROUND The mutation-based analysis of circulating tumor DNA(ctDNA)is a promising diagnostic tool for clinical ***,it has low success rate because many cancer patients do not have detectable ctDNA in the *** To evaluate whether preoperative tumor irradiation results in a transient increase of plasma ctDNA concentration due to the induction of apoptosis in radiationexposed *** This study focused on patients with locally advanced rectal cancer,because preoperative tumor irradiation is a part of their standard treatment *** subjects,whose tumors contained KRAS,NRAS or BRAF mutations,donated serial blood samples 1 h prior to the first fraction of irradiation(at baseline),immediately after the first fraction(time 0),and 1,3,6,12,24,36,48,72 and 96 h after the first *** amount of mutated gene copies was measured by droplet digital *** Five out of nine patients were mutation-negative by ctDNA test at baseline;two of these subjects demonstrated an emergence of the mutated DNA copies in the bloodstream within the follow-up *** were 4 patients,who had detectable ctDNA in the plasma at the start of the experiment;three of them showed an evident treatment-induced increase of the content of mutated RAS/RAF *** Local tumor irradiation may facilitate the detection of tumor-specific DNA in the *** data justify further assessment of the clinical feasibility of irradiation-assisted liquid biopsy.

The review focuses on the most important areas of cell therapy for spinal cord *** mucosa cells are promising for *** these cells is safe for *** use of olfactory mucosa cells is effective in restoring motor function due to the remyelination and regeneration of axons after spinal cord *** cells express neurotrophic factors that play an important role in the functional recovery of nerve tissue after spinal cord *** addition,it is possible to increase the content of neurotrophic factors,at the site of injury,exogenously by the direct injection of neurotrophic factors or their delivery using gene *** advantages of olfactory mucosa cells,in combination with neurotrophic factors,open up wide possibilities for their application in threedimensional and four-dimensional bioprinting technology treating spinal cord injuries.
