A robust viscoelastic surfactant tolerating 20% hCl up to 150℃ for oil well stimulation

Viscoelastic surfactants(VeS)are often used as viscous diverters in acidizing stimulation to prolong the acid consumption time and maximize zonal coverage of the acid for improving well ***,the ceiling temperature of commercial VeS cannot exceed 120℃in practical use because of the poor thermal stability and fragile molecular structure,hindering their implementation in hightemperature oil reservoirs,i.e.,≥150℃.here we synthesized a novel C22-tailed diamine,N-erucaminopropyl-N,N-dimethylamine(eDPA),and examined comparatively its rheological behavior,assemblies morphology and molecular stability in 20 wt%hCl with a commercial VeS,erucyl dimethyl amidopropyl betaine(eDAB).The feasibility of eDPA for acidizing stimulation was assessed by acid etching of carbonate rock with its hCl solution at 150℃.Rheological results showed that the 2.5 wt%eDPA—20 wt%hCl solution maintains stable viscosity of 90 m Pa s at 150℃for 60 min,while that of 2.0 wt%eDAB hCl solution is just 1 m Pa s under identical conditions.1h NMR spectra and cryo-TeM observations revealed that the chemical structure and self-assembled architectures of eDPA remained intact in such context,but the eDAB suffered from degradation due to the hydrolysis of the amide group,accounting for the poor heat-resistance and *** reaction rate of 2.5 wt%eDPA hCl solution with carbonate rock was one order of magnitude lower than that of 20 wt%hCl solution at 150℃,underpinning the potential of eDPA to be used in the high-temperature reservoirs *** work improved the thermal tolerance of VeS in highly concentrated hCl solution,paving a feasible way for the acidization of high-temperature reservoir environments(~150℃).

Impact of thoracic paravertebral block and sufentanil on outcomes and postoperative cognitive dysfunction in thoracoscopic lung cancer surgery

Three-dimensional numerical analysis of plant-soil hydraulic interactions on pore water pressure of vegetated slope under different rainfall patterns

Understanding the pore water pressure distribution in unsaturated soil is crucial in predicting shallow landslides triggered by rainfall,mainly when dealing with different temporal patterns of rainfall ***,the hydrological response of vegetated slopes,especially three-dimensional(3D)slopes covered with shrubs,under different rainfall patterns remains unclear and requires further *** address this issue,this study adopts a novel 3D numerical model for simulating hydraulic interactions between the root system of the shrub and the surrounding *** series of numerical parametric studies are conducted to investigate the influences of slope inclination,rainfall pattern and rainfall *** rainfall patterns(advanced,bimodal,delayed,and uniform)and two rainfall durations(4-h intense and 168-h mild rainfall)are considered to study the hydrological response of the *** computed results show that 17%higher transpiration-induced suction is found for a steeper slope,which remains even after a short,intense rainfall with a 100-year return *** extreme rainfalls with advanced(PA),bimodal(PB)and uniform(PU)rainfall patterns need to be considered for the short rainfall duration(4 h),while the delayed(PD)and uniform(PU)rainfall patterns are highly recommended for long rainfall durations(168 h).The presence of plants can improve slope stability markedly under extreme rainfall with a short duration(4 h).For the long duration(168 h),the benefit of the plant in preserving pore-water pressure(PWP)and slope stability may not be sufficient.

A direct polymeric carbon nitride/tungsten oxide Z-scheme heterostructure for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen generation via reforming of plastics into value-added chemicals

To promote charge transfer and separation for efficient photocatalysis,a direct Z-scheme heterostructure was constructed by coupling polymeric carbon nitride(PCN) and WO_(3).Interestingly,the obtained PCN/WO_(3)Z-scheme heterostructure could photocataly tic ally produce hydrogen and value-added chemicals(e.g.,formate and acetate) by reforming of plastic polylactic acid(PLA) in alkaline aqueous *** optimizing WO_(3) contents and reaction conditions,the obtained PCN/WO_(3)heterostructure exhibits much increased photocatalytic activity for PLA photoreforming under visible light,with hydrogen evolution rate reaching 402.90 μmol·g~(-1)·h~(-1),which is 3.5 times that of *** is revealed that the Z-scheme charge transfer between PCN and WO_(3) mainly contributes to the promoted charge separation and thus the improved photocatalytic ***,with h+and·Oh experimentally evidenced as the predominant active species,a possible reaction pathway for the reforming of PLA into value-added chemicals(e.g.,formate and acetate)over PCN/WO_(3) Z-scheme heterostructure is cleared by monitoring the reaction intermediates and *** work paves a carbon neutrality and scalable route toward the synergistical production of hydrogen and value-added chemicals by utilizing and recycling plastic waste.

CP violation of baryon decays with Nπrescatterings

There is a long-standing puzzle that the CP violation(CPV)in the baryon systems has never been wellestablished in experiments,while the CPV of mesons have been observed by *** this paper,we propose thatthe CpV of baryon decays can be generated with the rescatterings of a nucleon and a pion into some final states,i.e Nπ→Nπor Nππ.Benelited by the fruitful data of Nπscatterings,we can model-independently analyse the strongphases of b-baryon decays using the partial wave amplitudes of Nπ*** the most difficult problemof non-perturbative dynamics,it makes a great advantage to predict the CpV of baryon decays with a relatively *** understanding of the decay *** study the processes of∧_(b)^(0)→(pπ^(+)π^(-))h^(-)and(pπ^(0))h^(-)with h=πor *** is found that the global CPV of the above processes in the invariant mass regions of Nπscatterings are at theorder of several *** importantly,the local CPV in some regions of the Dalitz plots can reach the order of 10%,or be even *** the predicted results and the experimental data samples,we strong suggest tomeasure the CPV of∧_(b)^(0)→(pπ^(+)π^(-))K^(-),which has a large possibility to achieve the first observation of CPV in thebaryon system.

Recycling of Silicone Rubber from Composite Insulator with Pyrolysis Method

Composite insulators have been widely used in transmission *** being removed from transmission lines,their housing silicone material cannot degrade *** tackle this problem,this paper proposes an effective method to recycle waste insulators by pyrolysis to obtain mullite(3Al_(2)O_(3)·2SiO_(2))with high purity and compact *** recycling process studied will not generate toxic *** thermal degradation process of housing material is investigated by analyzing its degradation products including the gas and residues in *** experimental results indicate that the colorant agent Fe2O3 inside the housing material is beneficial for the generation of mullite by decreasing the temperature of ***,since the transitional alumina generated by the dehydration of aluminum hydroxide(ATh)has a smaller diameter and can better dissolute into the silica phases,ATh is a better choice as the additional aluminum *** comparing the components,structure,and particle size of grains formed at different calcination temperatures,the proposed pyrolysis temperatures of the two stages are 1400◦C and 1600◦C,respectively.

Synergistic effect of Co and Co_(6)Mo_(6)C for electroreduction of nitrate to ammonia on Co-MOF derived Co_(6)Mo_(6)C/Co/NC

electrocatalytic nitrate reduction reaction(e-NO_(3)RR)offers a promising alternative method for nitrogen cycling and ammonia(Nh3)production under ambient ***,the method is still in the dilemma of lowering the reaction overpotential and increasing the reaction *** successfully developed the composition-adjustable Co_(6)Mo_(6)C/Co/N-doped carbon(NC)catalysts by in situ carbonization of Co-based metal-organic framework(MOF)with the constrained phosphomolybdic *** adjusting the ratio of Co0 and Co_(6)Mo_(6)C,Co_(6)Mo_(6)C/Co/NC-3 could satisfy both NO_(3)−conversion at low potential and Nh_(x)hydrogenation,and synthesize ammonia efficiently through the synergistic effect of Co0 and Co_(6)Mo_(6)*** achieved an ammonia yield rate as 1233.2μg·h^(−1)·mgcat^(−1)and Faradaic efficiency of Nh4+93.6%at−0.33 V *** hydrogen electrode(Rhe).Importantly,density functional theory(DFT)calculations and experimental results have demonstrated for the first time the excellent adsorption of nitrite(NO_(2)^(−))by the Mo sites of Co_(6)Mo_(6)C during e-NO_(3)RR,avoiding the undesirable accumulation of NO_(2)^(−).

By virtue of the atom-and step-economy, utilization of simple arenes as a supplant of pre-prepared aryl metal species or aryl halides for the synthesis of arylated chiral molecules has attracted great attention from the synthetic community. While transition-metal-catalyzed enantioselective diarylation of tethered alkenes has been employed to prepare important chiral cyclic compounds, the direct use of simple arenes as aryl precursors is still underdeveloped, probably due to the difficulties in the effective control of the reactivity, site-selectivity and/or enantioselectivity. herein we report an asymmetric Pd/Ag dual metal catalytic system for the non-directed, site-and enantioselective domino heck/intermolecular C–h functionalization of *** studies showed that Pd and Ag act in cooperation in the catalysis and the chiral bisphosphine ligand plays a bifunctional role, i.e., assisting the silver species in the cleavage of the aryl C–h bond, while inducing the enantioselectivity on direct complexation with palladium. This method provides an efficient approach to the corresponding chiral oxindoles with good enantiomeric excesses from a broad scope of arenes, including fluoroarenes, heteroarenes and several complex products derived from medicines or natural products.

This study attempts to develop a reproducible thin-film formation technique called vacuum-free(VF)lamination,which transfers thin films using elastomeric polymer-based laminating ***,by controlling the interface characteristics of the mediator based on the work of adhesion,VF lamination is successfully performed for various thicknesses(from 20 to 240 nm)of a conjugated photoactive material composed of poly[(2,6-(4,8-bis(5-(2-ethylhexyl-3-fluoro)thiophen-2-yl)-benzo[1,2-b:4,5-bʹ]dithiophene))-alt-(5,5-(1ʹ,3ʹ-di-2-thienyl-5ʹ,7ʹ-bis(2-ethylhexyl)benzo[1ʹ,2ʹ-c:4ʹ,5ʹ-cʹ]dithiophene-4,8-dione)](a polymer donor)and 2,2ʹ-((2Z,2ʹZ)-((12,13-bis(2-butyloctyl)-3,9-diundecyl-12,13-dihydro-[1,2,5]thiadiazolo[3,4-e]thieno[2ʹʹ,3ʹʹ:4ʹ,5ʹ]thieno[2ʹ,3ʹ:4,5]pyrrolo[3,2-g]thieno[2ʹ,3ʹ:4,5]thieno[3,2-b]indole-2,10-diyl)bis(methanylylidene))bis(5,6-difluoro-3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1h-indene-2,1-diylidene))dimalononitrile(a nonfullerene acceptor).Interestingly,the organic photovoltaic and photodetecting applications,prepared by the VF lamination process,showed superior performance compared to those of devices prepared by conventional *** is due to the overturned surface morphology,which led to enhanced charge transport ability and blocking of the externally injected ***,the reproducible VF lamination process,exploiting an adhesion-based elastomeric polymer mediator,is a promising thin-film formation technique for developing efficient next-generation organic optoelectronic materials consistent with the solution process.
