Multicomponent polymerization of elemental sulfur,difluoromethylene phosphobetaine and aryl silyl ethers toward aromatic poly(O,O′-monothiocarbonate)s

Polythiocarbonates with similar structures to polycarbonates, have emerged as a group of promising sulfur-containing polymers with a range of practical applications, taking advantages of their excellent optical properties, good thermal stability and filmforming ability, and so on. However, the synthesis of polythiocarbonates generally suffered from mixed isomeric structures of repeating units, and hazardous sulfur-containing reagents. In this work, an efficient multicomponent reaction of elemental sulfur,difluoromethylene phosphobetaine（PDFA）, and aryl silyl ethers was designed with the assistance of organic base 7-methyl-1,5,7-triazabicyclo[4.4.0]dec-5-ene（MTBD） to produce 12 kinds of O,O′-monothiocarbonate compounds in up to 93% yields,taking advantages of the unique chemical property of difluorocarbene, and the deprotection of silyl group by F-generated from PDFA. Most importantly, the MTBD-assisted multicomponent polymerization of bis（aryl silyl ether）s, elemental sulfur, and PDFA was developed, affording 12 kinds of poly（O,O′-monothiocarbonate）s with well-defined structures, high Mws of up to16900 g/mol and high yields（up to 99%）. These poly（O,O′-monothiocarbonate）s possessed good film-forming properties and thermal stability, high light refractive indices and transmittance. The facile synthesis of these polymonothiocarbonates might pave the way for the development of promising sulfur-containing polymer materials.

Solar-driven interface evaporation with high solar-to-steam conversion efficiency has shown great potential in seawater ***,due to the influence of latent heat and condensation efficiency,the water yield from solar-driven interface evaporation remains insufficient,posing a significant challenge that requires *** this work,we designed a dual-mode high-flux seawater desalination device that combines solar-driven interface evaporation and capacitive *** utilizing coupled desalination materials exhibiting both photothermal conversion and capacitance activity,the device demonstrated photothermal evaporation rates of 1.41 and 0.97 kg m-2h-1for condensate water yield under one-sun ***,the device exhibited a salt adsorption capacity of up to48 mg g-1and a salt adsorption rate of 2.1 mg *** addition,the salt adsorption capacity increased by approximately 32% under one-sun ***,photo-enhanced capacitive desalination performance was explored through numerical simulations and theoretical *** calculations and characterizations confirmed that the defect energy levels formed by the introduction of sulfur vacancies can effectively widen the light absorption range,improve photothermal conversion performance,and stimulate more photoelectrons to participate in capacitive ***,the electron distribution state of molybdenum disulfide with sulfur vacancies and surface defect sites contributes to ion/electron transport at the solid-liquid *** work provides a novel pathway for integrating solar vapor generation with other low-energy desalination technologies.

The sensitive data stored in the public cloud by privileged users,such as corporate companies and government agencies are highly vulnerable in the hands of cloud providers and *** proposed Virtual Cloud Storage Archi-tecture is primarily concerned with data integrity and conﬁdentiality,as well as *** provide conﬁdentiality and availability,theﬁle to be stored in cloud storage should be encrypted using an auto-generated key and then encoded into distinct *** the encoded chunks ensured theﬁle integrity,and a newly proposed Circular Shift Chunk Allocation technique was used to determine the order of chunk ***ﬁle could be retrieved by performing the opera-tions in *** the regenerating code,the model could regenerate the missing and corrupted chunks from the *** proposed architecture adds an extra layer of security while maintaining a reasonable response time and sto-rage *** results analysis show that the proposed model has been tested with storage space and response time for storage and *** VCSA model consumes 1.5x(150%)storage *** was found that total storage required for the VCSA model is very low when compared with 2x Replication and completely satisﬁes the CIA *** response time VCSA model was tested with different sizedﬁles starting from 2 to 16 *** response time for storing and retrieving a 2 MBﬁle is 4.96 and 3.77 s respectively,and for a 16 MBﬁle,the response times are 11.06 s for storage and 5.6 s for retrieval.

In this paper, we present a numerical simulation of a water jet impacting a new aeronautical material Ti555-03 *** Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) behavior of the jet is investigated using a FV(Finite Volume) *** Fluid–Structure Interaction(FSI) is studied using a coupled SPH(Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics)-Fe(Finite element) method. The jets hit the metal sheet with an initial velocity 500 m/s. Two configurations which differ from each other by the position(angle of inclination) of the plate relatively to the axis of revolution of the jet inlet are investigated in this study. The objective of this study is to predict the impact of the fluid produced at high pressure and high speed especially at the first moment of impact. Numerical simulations are carried out under ABAQUS. We have shown in this study that the inclination of the titanium alloy plate by 45° stimulates the phenomenon of recirculation of water. This affects the velocity profile, turbulence and boundary layers in the impact zone. The stagnation zone and the phenomenon of water recirculation are strongly influenced by the slope of the plate which gives a pressure gradient and displacement very important between the two configurations. Fluctuations of physical variables(displacement and pressure) prove the need for a noise and vibratory study. These predictions will subsequently be used for the modeling of the problem of an orthogonal cut in a high-speed machining process assisted by high-pressure water jet.

An efficient protein extraction method is crucial to ensure successful separation by two-dimensional electrophoresis （2-De） for recalcitrant plant species, in particular for grapevine （Vitis vinifera L.）. Trichloroacetic acid-acetone （TCA-acetone） and phenol extraction methods were evaluated for proteome analysis of leaves and roots from the Tunisian cultivar ＇Razegui＇. The phenol-based protocol proved to give a higher protein yield, a greater spot resolution, and a minimal streaking on 2-De gels for both leaf and root tissues compared with the TCA-based protocol. Furthermore, the highest numbers of detected proteins on 2-De gels were observed using the phenol extraction from leaves and roots as compared with TCA-acetone extraction.

electrochemical recycling of waste polyethylene terephthalate（PeT） plastics represents a green and sustainable route to produce valuable fuels and address serious environmental issues. Despite some encouraged achievements, their progress is still slower because of the lack of highly active and selective electrocatalysts. Here, we reported an efficient PeT recycling route with trimetallic PdCuRu mesoporous nanospheres（MSs） as a high-performance electrocatalyst that achieved selective electrosynthesis of valuable formate from PeT hydrolysate（PeTH） electrooxidation. Penetrated metal mesopores and trimetallic compositions of PdCuRu MSs synergistically optimized electronic structures of Pd sites and changed chemisorption properties of intermediates, which disclosed a high formate Faradic efficiency of 97% and impressive yield rate of 0.49 mmol h-1cm-2in an alkaline solution. Meanwhile, this electrocatalyst held good electrocatalytic stability, retaining high formate Faradic efficiency and yield rate even being performed for 10 cycles, which highlighted its potential applications for practical PeT recycling. Our study provides a powerful strategy for designing high-performance electrocatalysts toward selective electro-synthesis of valuable fuels from various waste plastics.

Strontium-britholites whose chemical formula was Sr10-xLax（PO4）6-x（SiO4）xF2, where x=0, 1, 2, and 4 were prepared by solid state reaction. The structural refinement carried out using the Rietveld method indicated that La^3＋ ions were located into the two sites with a strong preference for metal （2） sites especially for low contents. A progressive shift of the F position along the c-axis outside the centre of the triangle formed by metal （2）-atoms was observed with the increase of x. The infrared and Raman spectra exhibited the characteristic vibration modes of PO4 and SiO4groups confirming the incorporation of this last group into the apatite structure. The 295i MAS-NMR spectra exhibited one resonance peak confirming the data obtained by X-ray diffraction, indicating that P and Si were located in the same crystallographic site.
