Recently,nano-systems based on molecular communications via diffusion(MCvD)have been implemented in a variety of nanomedical applications,most notably in targeted drug delivery system(TDDs)***,because the MCvD is unreliable.and there exists molecular noise.and inter symbol interference(IsI),cooperative nano-relays can acquire the reliability for drug delivery to targeted diseased cells,especially if the separation distance between the nano transmitter and nano receiver is *** this work,we propose.an approach for optimizing the performance of the nano system using cooperative molecular communications with a nano relay scheme,while accounting for blood flow effects in terms of drift *** fractions of the molecular drug that should be allocated to the nano transmitter and nano relay positioning are computed using a collaborative optimization problem solved by theModified Central Force Optimization(MCFO)*** the previous work,the probability of bit error is expressed in a closed-form *** is used as an objective function to determine the optimal velocity of the drug molecules and the detection threshold at the nano *** simulation results show that the probability of bit error can be dramatically reduced by optimizing the drift velocity,detection threshold,location of the nano-relay in the proposed nano system,and molecular drug budget.

Climate change induced heat stress impact on workplace productivity in a net zero-carbon timber building towards the end of the century

Changing climate intensifies heat stress,resulting in a greater risk of workplace productivity decline in timber office buildings with low internal thermal *** impact of climate change induced heat exposure on indoor workplace productivity in timber office buildings has not been extensively ***,further investigation to reduce the work capacity decline towards the end of the century is ***,heat exposure in a net zero-carbon timber building near Brussels,Belgium,was evaluated using a reproducible comparative approach with different internal thermal mass *** analysis indicated that strategies with increased thermal mass were more effective in limiting the effects of heat exposure on workplace *** medium and high thermal mass strategies reduced workplace productivity loss to 0.1%in the current,0.3%and 0.2%in the midfuture.and 4.9%and 3.9%for future *** comparison,baseline with low thermal mass yielded a decline of 2.3%,3.3%,and 8.2%.The variation in maximum and minimum wet-bulb globe temperatures were also lower for medium and high thermal mass strategies than for low thermal mass *** study findings lead to the formulation of design guidelines,identification of research gaps,and recommendations for future work.

BACKGROUND Type 2 diabetes is one of the most prevalent chronic diseases worldwide,significantly impacting patients'quality of *** treatment options like metformin(MeT)effectively counteract hyperglycemia but fail to alleviate diabetes-associated complications such as retinopathy,neuropathy,nephropathy,hepatopathy,and cardiovascular *** To propose the supplementation of cholecalciferol(CHO)and taurine(TAU)to enhance MeT efficacy in controlling diabetes while minimizing the risk of associated *** The study involved sixty rats,including ten non-diabetic control rats and fifty experimental rats with type 2 diabetes induced by *** experimental rats were further subdivided into positive control and treatment *** four treatment groups were randomly allocated to a single MeT treatment or MeT combined with supplements either CHO,TAU,or *** Diabetic rats exhibited elevated levels of glucose,insulin,Homeostasis Model Assessment of Insulin Resistance(HOMA-IR),glycated hemoglobin percentage,lipid markers,aspartate aminotransferase.and malondialdehyde,along with reduced levels of antioxidant enzymes(catalase.and superoxide dismutase).The administration of CHO and TAU supplements alongside MeT in diabetic rats led to a noticeable recovery of islet *** antioxidative.anti-inflammatory,and anti-apoptotic properties of the proposed combination therapy significantly ameliorated the aforementioned *** The supplementation of CHO and TAU with MeT showed the potential to significantly improve metabolic parameters and protect against diabetic complications through its antioxidative.anti-inflammatory,and antiapoptotic effects.

sol-gel process is one of the simplest techniques to manufacture thin films. The quality of the prepared films depends on the parameters of the sol-gel process and the technique used for deposition. A great variety of the sol-gel derived films have been prepared for different applications. These sol-gel derived coatings are reviewed. The sol-gel deposition process is introduced in detail. Different sol-gel deposition techniques are mentioned. The optical applications of the sol-gel derived coatings are reviewed.

Identification of unknown remains recovered from marine.and terrestrial locations is a significant humanitarian *** investigation proposes a simple method applicable to fragmentary femora for a more refined level of ancestry and/or sex *** that end,we re-examined Purkait’s triangle which involves three inter-landmark distances between the traction epiphyses and the articular rim of femoral head.A large sample(n=584)from geographically diverse(egyptian,Indian and Greek)populations was ***,shape(n=3)and trigonometrically derived variables and ratios(n=9 variables)were employed to detect any geographically-clustered morphological differences between these *** forest modelling(RFM)and linear discriminant function analysis(LDA)were employed to create classification models in instances where sex was known or *** sample was apportioned into training and test sets with a ratio 70/*** classification accuracies were evaluated by means of k fold cross-validation *** sex estimation,RFM showed similar performance to ***,RFM outperformed LDA in ancestry *** estimation was satisfactory in the Indian and egyptian samples albeit the Greek sample was *** Greek samples presented greater morphological overlap with the Indian sample due to high within-group *** samples were accurately assigned to their ancestral category when sex was ***,higher classification accuracies in the validation sample were obtained in the sex-specific model of females than in *** RFM and the linear variables,the overall accuracy reached 83%which is distributed as 95%,71%and 86%for the egyptian,Indian and Greek females,respectively;whereas in males,the overall accuracy is 72%and is distributed as 58%,87%and 50%for the egyptian,Indian and Greek males,*** accuracies were also calculated per group in the test data using the 12 derived *** the f

Influence of Various Hydrocolloids on suspension stability of Chia seeds (salvia hispanica L.) in Mango Beverage.and Mango Flavored Beverage

With the developing of juices and beverages industry, the processors need to bring new nutritional fortified products to capture the market as per the de.and of the consumer who needs healthier product. Thus, this study aimed to the production of mango beverage.and mango flavored beverage fortified with chia seeds;evaluate the chemical properties of chia seeds and study the effect of adding carboxymethyl cellulose, xanthan gum and low acyl gellan gum at the concentrations of 0.05% and 0.1% on the stability of suspension chia seeds in beverage during storage at ambient temperature for six months. Viscosity, color, zeta potential, suspension of seeds and organoleptic properties were evaluated. Results showed that chia seeds were rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids and dietary fiber. The addition of 0.05% gellan gum led to improved appearance attributes and the highest stability of suspension of chia seeds for six months, and was the sample which scored highest for overall acceptability compared to the other samples of beverages. Results indicated that using chia seeds with the addition of 0.05% low acyl gellan gum led to the production of fortified mango beverage.and mango flavored beverage with high stability for six months.

BACKGROUND In patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis(PD),catheter dysfunction is a common complication.A misplaced catheter is one of the reasons contributing to its *** present study aimed to describe a case of misplaced PD catheter with an unusual location of the catheter *** sUMMARY A 61-year-old man undergoing PD for 4 years was investigated for progressive nausea and fatigue of 3 *** adequacy studies indicated inefficient *** discovered that the PD catheter tip was mispositioned in the pelvic cavity with its tip outside the peritoneal *** the dialysate accumulating outside the peritoneal cavity,the patient had not developed perineal or scrotal *** patient had experienced a sustainable prolonged dialysis efficacy in this case until the renal function deteriorated further in view of the poor dialysis outcome.and worsening health *** patient was subsequently transitioned to *** Proper placement of the catheter in the peritoneal cavity should always be confirmed and rechecked when necessary in patients undergoing PD to ensure dialytic adequacy.

Four isolates of Bacillus subtilis coded,B4,B7,B8 and B10 were examined as biocontrol agents for their abilities and antagonistic effect on the in vitro growth of certain phytopathogenic fungi of peanut,Rhizoctonia solani and sclerotium *** subtilis isolate B4(GenBank accession ***150884)was the highly effective one for inhibiting the fungal mycelial *** fermentation of *** isolate B4 was carried out and the maximum biomass achieved was 4.53 g L-1 at 11 *** subtilis isolate B4 was formulated and evaluated as a biofungicide to reduce peanut soil-borne diseases under greenhouse.and field conditions at the side of Rizolex-T(fungicide)as *** by formulated plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR)*** B4 and Rizolex-T in a soil infested with ***,*** and mixture of them were more effective in decreasing percentage of damping-off,root and pod rot disease incidence(%)in greenhouse.and open field environment during the two seasons 2015 and *** by PGPR gave highly dry weight and number of healthy pods compared to control of fungi treatment which was nearby to dry weights of healthy pods achieved by treatments by Rizolex-T in a soil infested with ***,*** and mixture of *** PGPR *** B4 gave higher increasing of yield percentage than treatment by Rizolex-T in the two evaluated seasons 2015 and *** can conclude that the produced bioforumlated agent was more efficient as fungicide when compared with the other chemical synthesized fungicides,safe for human and the environment and economy.
