the ge.m.t.y and evolution of pre-existing basement in accretionary belts bordering supercontinents are often *** interpretation of long-wavelength potential field satellite data can image deep crust structure,improving our understanding of lithospheric processes that formed these margins ***,we present a multidisciplinary interpretation of the lithospheric architecture of the central southern Amazon Craton,a fragment of an accretionary belt at the southwestern Columbia supercontinent ***-borne gravity and magnetic data,airborne magnetic data,passive seismic(V_(p)/V_(s) ratio,crustal thickness)and seismic tomography data reveals that basement terranes from the interior of the craton extend into the accretionary margin of *** demonstrate a vertically heterogeneous structure with an underlying strongly reworked pre-Columbia tectonic wedge that sustained prolonged modification during the supercontinent assembly as corroborated by Nd isotope and geochronology *** isotope data suggest that the protracted orogenic wedge was influenced by subduction angle shifts over time,including addition of substantial juvenile.m.t.rial during slab retreat *** interplay promoted Craton growth at the supercontinent margin while keeping a subtle record of the pre-existing *** findings point to the possible misrepresentation of basement extension and ge.m.t.y of supercontinent margins elsewhere.

One of the challenges in developing three-dimensional printed medicines is related to their stability due to the manufacturing conditions involving high *** work proposed a new protocol for preformulation studies simulating thermal processing and aging of the printed medicines,tested regarding their morphology and thermal,crystallographic,and spectroscopic ***,despite the strong drug-polymer interactions observed,the chemical stability of the model drugs was preserved under such *** fact,in the.m.t.prolol and Soluplus®composition,the drug's solubilization in the polymer produced a delay in the drug decomposition,suggesting a protective effect of the *** and polyvinyl alcohol mixture,in turn,showed unmistakable signs of thermal instability and chemical decomposition,in addition to physical *** the presented context,establishing protocols that simulate processing and storage conditions may be decisive for obtaining stable pharmaceutical dosage forms using three-dimensional printing technology.

Biomass solid fuel(BSF)has emerged as a promising renewable energy source,but its morphological and microstructural properties are crucial in determining their physical,mechanical,and chemical *** paper provides an overview of recent research on *** focus is on biomass sources,BSF processing methods,and morphological and microstructural properties,with a special emphasis on energy-related *** inclusion and exclusion criteria were established for the study to ensure *** inclusion criteria encompassed studies about BSFs and studies investigating the influence of biomass sources and processing methods on the morphological and microstructural properties of solid fuels within the past five *** technologies for converting biomass into usable energy were discussed,including gasification,torrefaction,carbonization,hydrothermal carbonization(HtC),and *** has advantages and disadvantages in energy performance,techno-economics,and climate *** is efficient but requires high *** produces bio-oil,char,and gases based on feedstock *** generates low-cost biochar for solid fuels and carbon sequestration *** increases energy density for co-firing with *** processes wet biomass efficiently with lower energy *** treatment affects BSF durability and strength,often leading to less durability due to voids and gaps between *** carbonization alters surface morphology,creating cavities,pores,and distinctive *** pyrolysis generates biochar with better morphological properties,while fast pyrolysis yields biochar with lower porosity and surface *** constitutes 67%of the biomass sources utilized for bioenergy generation,followed by wood residues(5%),agro-residues(4%),municipal solid wastes(3%),energy crops(3%),livestock wastes(3%),and forest residues(1%).each source has advantages and drawbacks,such as avail

Geochemistry and petrogenesis of the Paleoproterozoic orthogneisses and granitoids of the Banded Gneissic Complex,central Rajasthan,NW India:Implications for crustal reworking processes

Granitoids and orthogneisses(1.7 Ga)from the northern part of the Banded Gneissic Complex(BGC-II domain),Aravalli Craton(NW India)are geochemically analyzed to understand the geodynamic condition and crustal evolution *** samples are.m.t.luminous to peraluminous(molar A/CNK:0.74±2.12),and characterized by eu-anomaly ranging from 0.17 to 1.06,Fe_(2)O_(3)^(t)/(Fe_(2)O_(3)^(t)+mgO)from 0.8 to 0.9 and high magmatic zircon saturation temperature(>830°C)which are the features suggestive of A-type granite *** discrimination diagrams classify the samples as post-collisional extensional A2-type *** characteristics along with trace element ratios[(Y/Nb)_(N)=0.15 to 4.33(avg.0.76),(th/Nb)_(N)=4.63 to 255.47(avg.63.13),(th/ta)_(N)=1.37 to 9.84(avg.8.86),(Ce/Pb)_(N)=0.05 to 3.05(avg.1.43)]indicate that the rocks were derived from a plagioclase-rich and garnet-free crustal source under lowpressure ***,it is also proposed that tonalite-trondhjemite-granodiorite(ttG)rocks which occur dominantly in southern Rajasthan(BGC-I)are precursors and their partial melting led to the generation of the studied A-type granite *** studied samples also bear close geochemical similarity with A-type granites of similar age(1.7 Ga)near the Sakhun-Ladera region of northern *** studied A-type granites are believed to be coeval to similar aged A-type granites of the Khetri and Alwar sub-basins of the North Delhi Fold Belt(NDFB).they are comparable in age and magmatic history to recorded A-type magmatism in North America and parts of the Chinese *** large geographical extents of synchronous A-type granites are proposed to be related to the Columbia Supercontinent assembly(ca.1.7 Ga;postcollisional granites).thus,based on the studied extensional granites,we surmise that BGC-II was part of the Columbia Supercontinent.

Nichel-phosphorus(Ni-P)coatings are deposited on mild steel by using an electroless plating *** effect of three calix[4]arene derivatives,namely tetra methyl ester-P-tertbutyl calix[4]arene(Calix1),tetra acid-P-tert-butyl calix[4]arene(Calix2)and tetra methyl P-tert-butyl-thicalix[4]arene ester(Calix3)on the deposition rate,the deposit composition,and the morphological surface was investigated and the study of growth mechanisms has delivered useful information about the surface properties of *** is found that these additives modify the deposition rate and the nickel crystallization *** fact,the Calix1 and Calix3 act as an accelerator,while Calix2 acts as an inhibitor for the nickel ***,it is shown that the chemical bath is more stable with calix[4]arene derivatives addition and the obtained deposits are compact and *** is observed also that the nickel content increases with *** the other hand,the X-ray diffraction showed that the orientation peaks are intensified atein the presence of Calix2,confirming obtained results of eDAX *** cyclic voltammetry revealed that the tested additives strongly influence the cathodic process and slightly affect the hypophosphite ***,it is found that these compounds improve the anticorrosion efficiency of Ni-P coating on the mild steel substrate in 3%(mass)NaCl,where its polarization resistance increases with Calix2 and Calix3 addition.

Purpose the purpose of this study was to examine peak torque(Pt),mean power(mP),electromyographic(emG)amplitude,mechanomyographic(mmG)amplitude,and neuromuscular efficiency from emG and mmG amplitude(Nme_(emG)and Nme_(mmG),respectively)across the velocity spectrum in children versus *** Seventeen children(n=8 males,n=9 females)and 22 adolescents(n=11 males,n=11 females)*** completed maximal concentric isokinetic leg extensions at 60,120,180,240 and 300°/***,mP,emG amplitude,and mmG amplitude were quantified during all muscle ***_(emG)and Nme_(mmG)were quantified by expressing Pt relative to emG and mmG amplitude,respectively,for each muscle *** Pt,mP,Nme_(emG),and Nme_(mmG)were greater for the adolescents than the children collapsed across sex and veloc-ity(P≤0.021).there were no significant differences for emG amplitude(P≥0.051),while mmG amplitude increased significantly from 60 to 240°/s(Pthen decreased significantly from 240 to 300°/s(Perall,regardless of velocity,the expression of Pt relative to emG and mmG amplitude(Nme_(emG)and Nme_(mmG),respectively),in conjunction with measurements of torque and power production,may provide practitioners a unique.m.t.od of examining growth and development-related augmentations in neuromuscular function during dynamic movements.

the consumption of imported dairy products is high especially in developing countries including Nigeria where little or no milk is produced locally which makes the products expensive,out of reach to common consumers and also inconvenient for lactose intolerance and ***,as plant-based milk was substituted for cow’s milk in parts and in whole for the production of yoghurt and the effect of substitution was evaluated on the minerals,vitamins,microbial,and sensory properties of the products using the established *** differences(pexits among the yoghurt samples in the micronutrient *** soymilk substitution produced yoghurts with trace/macro mineral contents’range of 0.14–28.50 mg/100 g and vitamin contents(ranged 0.02–0.43 mg/100 g)that were of comparable range of values with the yoghurt made with 100%cow’s milk(0.21–29.60 mg/100 g minerals and 0.05–0.58 mg/100 g vitamins).Generally,no significant difference(perved in most of the sensory attributes evaluated(range 8.00–8.01)in the entire samples(except in the 100%soymilk yoghurt).the microbial analysis proved the safety of the entire products for *** showed the positive effect of substituting soymilk for cow’s milk at all the levels used,thus,the lactose intolerance and vegans can find alternative to dairy yoghurt in the 100%soymilk substitution and enjoy the functional health benefits of ***,the total dependence on importation of dairy milk and cost of production of composited milk yoghurt could be reduced to improve the nation’s economy and make the product economically accessible to common man.

the search for new biomarkers predictive of type 2 diabetes currently constitutes a research avenue in Bioclinical. total homocysteine remains a preferred target due to its involvement in the occurrence of degenerative complications in type 2 diabetics. the aim of this work was to study hyperhomocysteinemia and other biochemical markers associated with t2D in the Congolese population. this was an analytical case-control study carried out between October 2022 and October 2023. the study population consisted of 150 subjects including 100 t2D patients and 50 control subjects. the main clinical data were collected on a pre-established form. Homocysteine determination was carried out by the sandwich eLISA method. the other biochemical markers were measured by colorimetric enzymatic methods. Hyperhomocysteinemia was present in 27.3% (41/150) of the entire study population. type 2 diabetics had a frequency of hyperhomocysteinemia of 36% (36/100) and control 10% (5/50) (p = 0.001). the mean hyperhomocysteinemia concentration was 31.9 μmol/l with extremes ranging from 18 to 103 μmol/l. means of biological markers between diabetics and controls showed a statistically significant difference (p = 0.01). the risk factors associated with this HHcy were: sex (OR = 3.5), age (OR = 9.4), sedentary lifestyle (OR = 3.4) and glycosylated hemoglobin (OR = 12) with a p-value espectively. Our results suggest that hyperhomocysteinemia can be considered as a predictive biomarker in the bioclinic of Congolese type 2 diabetic patients.

the anelastic deformation behavior of Pd_(20)Pt_(20)Cu_(20)Ni_(20)P_(20) high-entropy metallic glass was probed by monitoring the stress relaxation and recovery processes. the stress relaxation under consecutive strain steps can be described by the Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts(KWW) function. In addition, considering a hierarchy of relaxation processes related to the structural heterogeneity, a constitutive model is proposed in order to describe the whole process of stress relaxation and determine the contribution of different time scales. moreover, a crossover from stochastic activation to percolation of flow defects with the ultimate strain can be observed during stress relaxation process. the anelastic recovery process after a strain step is studied as a function of the initial strain level and characterized by means of a direct spectrum analysis. the peaks in the recovery time-spectra revealed the evolution of flow defects in Pd_(20)Pt_(20)Cu_(20)Ni_(20)P_(20) high-entropy metallic glass. the understanding of the atomic free-volume zones effect and the anelastic deformation provides important insight into how atomic structural features affect the deformation behavior of high-entropy metallic glasses, and may provide a new avenue into the improvement of their mechanical properties.
