Aim: To de.cribe.the.re.roductive.outcome.following intracytoplasmic spe.m inje.tion (ICSI) for male.factor infe.tility associate. with Crohn's dise.se.and 6-me.cap-topurine.(6-MP) che.othe.apy. Me.hods: The.male.partne. of a couple.suffe.e. from se.e.e.Crohn's dise.se.and re.e.ve. a 3-month course.of 6-MP for this condition. Two spontane.us conce.tions we.e.e.tablishe. be.ore.6-MP, although post-che.othe.apy se.e. analysis found the.spe.m conce.tration to be.8,000/mL. In vitro fe.tilization (IVF) with ICSI and e.bryo transfe. was pe.forme.. Re.ults: The.woman unde.we.t an uncomplicate. controlle. ovarian hype.stimulation se.ue.ce.using a combine. re.-FSH+hMG protocol, following late.lute.l phase.pituitary downre.ulation. This culminate. in the.re.rie.al of 18 oocyte., 11 of which we.e.fe.tilize. with ICSI. She.late. de.ive.e. a normal male.infant without uroge.ital anomaly. Four nontransfe.re. blastocysts we.e.cryopre.e.ve.. Conclusion: This re.ort de.cribe. the.first succe.sful birth afte. ICSI for se.e.e.oligozoospe.mia associate. with Crohn's dise.se.and 6-MP the.apy. We.outline.salie.t fe.ture. of Crohn's dise.se. 6-MP pharmacology, and the.r re.e.ance.to human fe.tility.

Stude.ts we.e.randomly assigne. to one.of two clinical te.ching se.tings;no stude.t e.pe.ie.ce. both module.. Course.ork for the.pilot (e.pe.ime.tal) group (n = 19) utilize. a te.ching approach comprising le.ture., ge.e.ics laboratory, pe.vic ultrasound, small group se.sions, and opportunitie. to obse.ve.advance. re.roductive.te.hnologie. such as in vitro fe.tilization, ICSI, and e.bryo transfe.. A control group (n = 34) re.e.ve. re.roductive.e.docrinology instruction by the.‘traditional curriculum’, consisting mainly of le.ture.. Stude.ts we.e.sample. at base.ine.and again atthe.conclusion of the.r re.roductive.e.docrinology se.sion. Pre. and post-te.t data we.e.analyze. for both groups;post-te.t diffe.e.ce. be.we.n groups we.e.also compare.. No significant diffe.e.ce. in me.n age.or ge.de. mix we.e.ide.tifie. be.we.n the.two study groups. Ove.all, the.que.- tionnaire.did not ide.tify any significant inte.group diffe.e.ce. for any parame.e. inve.tigate.. Although stude.t acce.tance.rate.appe.re. similar for both e.ucational module., the.ratio of stude.ts having a “favorable.re.ard” for re.roductive.me.icine.de.line. only among stude.ts randomize. to the.control group (41.2% vs. 32.3%). We.pre.e.t re.olve. Giant Me.re.ave.Radio Te.e.cope.H I obse.vations of the.high gas-phase.me.allicity dwarf galaxy WISe. J230615.06+143927.9(z = 0.005)(he.e.fte. J2306) and inve.tigate.whe.he. it could be.a Tidal Dwarf Galaxy(TDG) candidate. TDGs are.obse.ve. to have.highe. me.allicitie. than normal dwarfs. J2306 has an unusual combination of a blue.g-r color of 0.23 mag, irre.ular optical morphology and high-me.allicity(12 +log(O/H) = 8.68 ± 0.14), making it an inte.e.ting galaxy to study in more.de.ail. We.find J2306 to be.an H I rich galaxy with a large.e.te.de., unpe.turbe. rotating H I disk. Using our H I data we.e.timate. its dynamical mass and found the.galaxy to be.dark matte.(DM) dominate. within its H I radius. The.quantity of DM, infe.re. from its dynamical mass, appe.rs to rule.out J2306 as an e.olve. TDG. A wide.are. e.vironme.t se.rch re.e.ls J2306 to be.isolate. from any large. galaxie. which could have.be.n the.source.of its high gas me.allicity. Additionally, the.H I morphology and kine.atics of the.galaxy show no indication of a re.e.t me.ge. to e.plain the.*** de.aile. optical spe.troscopic obse.vations of J2306 might provide.an answe. to how a se.mingly ordinary irre.ular dwarf galaxy achie.e. such a high le.e. of me.al e.richme.t.
