Introduction: Epithelial Ovarian Carcinoma (EOC) comprises the vast majority (almost 90%) of ovarian carcinomas. Chemotherapy is the main treatment in ovarian cancers. The standard of care in the chemotherapeutic is the combination of a platinum (carboplatin or cisplatin) and a taxane (paclitaxel or docetaxel). Studies were done to determine whether this combination to be given weekly or every 3 weeks. Patient and Method: Inclusion criteria: 1) Female patients between the ages of 17 - 78 years. 2) Baseline hematological, renal and liver laboratory profiles were within accepted ranges. 3) Performance status of the patients was 0-II. 4) Patients were pathologically proven ovarian cancer. 5) A follow-up period for at least 6 months was required. Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who had double malignancy were excluded. 2) Performance status more than II. 3) Other comorbidity. Results: We reviewed 69 female patients with EOC, with 60% received every three weeks regimen. Mean age was 53.22 years. At a median follow up of 45.9 months, there was no significant different between the two protocols in terms of mean PFS, 62.35 months (95% CI: 50.08 - 74.63 months) for the three-weekly cohort, and 69.25 months (95% CI: 55.24 - 83.26 months) for weekly protocol (p = 0.613). The three weekly regimen patients had a higher incidence of hospital admission (40% vs 18.5% for the weekly protocol patients), but it didn’t reach a statistical significance (p = 0.063). The three weekly protocol had a significantly higher incidence of causing a neutropenic fever (p = 0.003). Introduction and Significance. Burn injury (BI) is a conside.able.he.lth issue.which is re.ponsible.for around 300,000 de.ths and affe.ting about 11 million pe.ple.e.e.y ye.r worldwide. In Saudi Arabia, the.pre.ale.ce.of BIs array from 112 to 518 pe. 100,000 pe. ye.r. The.appropriate.aware.e.s of pe.forming first aid could facilitate.to improve.the.outcome. of burns. Purpose.and Obje.tive.: To appraise.the.community that acknowle.ge. burns, first aid, and associate. factors among the.community population in Jazan City, Saudi Arabia. The.pape. aims to ide.tify limitations to e.courage.additional re.e.rch and pe.suade.le.islators to de.e.op improve. burn-injury care.re.omme.dations and training programs. Mate.ials and Me.hods: An obse.vational-base. sample.surve. was conducte. among the.pe.ple.who live.in Jazan City aging 13 ye.rs or more. during April 5 to May 5, 2023. Data colle.tion was done.by a validate. online.se.f-administrate. que.tionnaire.se.t randomly to community me.be.s in diffe.e.t parts of Jazan City via social me.ia platforms. Colle.te. data we.e.code. and cle.ne. by an e.ce. program, and finally e.porte. on SPSS 26.0 software. The.variable. we.e.analyze. using de.criptive.statistics like.fre.ue.cie. and pe.ce.tage.. Also, the.Chi-square.te.t was use. to inve.tigate.the.re.ation be.we.n diffe.e.t variable., with a significance.value.of P Re.ults: This study include. 243 participants (about 62%) among the. we.e.mostly male.participants (151) having a unive.sity de.re.. The.majority of participants 75% did not take.any form of BFA training in the.past. This study shows that 69.9% of the.participants have.inade.uate.aware.e.s, de.pite.72% having a constructive.attitude.towards burn first aid. Pre.ious burn-re.ate. first aid training was significantly associate. with participants’ knowle.ge.of BFA at a p-value.le.s than 0.05. Ti–51at%Ni shape.me.ory alloys(SMAs) we.e.succe.sfully produce. via a powde. me.allurgy and microwave.sinte.ing *** influe.ce.of sinte.ing parame.e.s on porosity re.uction,microstructure.phase.transformation te.pe.ature.,and me.hanical prope.tie. we.e.inve.tigate. by optical microscopy,fie.d-e.ission scanning e.e.tron microscopy(Fe.Se.),X-ray diffraction(XRD),diffe.e.tial scanning calorime.ry(DSC),compre.sion te.ts,and microhardne.s *** the.microwave.te.pe.ature.and holding time.was found to strongly affe.t the.de.sity of porosity,pre.e.ce.of pre.ipitate.,transformation te.pe.ature.,and me.hanical *** lowe.t de.sity and smalle.t pore.size.we.e.obse.ve. in the.Ti–51at%Ni sample. sinte.e. at 900°C for 5 min or at 900°C for 30 *** pre.ominant marte.site.phase. of β2 and β19′ we.e.obse.ve. in the.microstructure.of Ti–51at%Ni,and the.r e.iste.ce.varie. in accordance.with the.sinte.ing te.pe.ature.and the.holding *** the.DSC the.mograms,multi-transformation pe.ks we.e.obse.ve. during he.ting,whe.e.s a single.pe.k was obse.ve. during cooling;the.e.pe.ks corre.pond to the.pre.e.ce.of the.β2,R,and β19′ *** maximum stre.gth and strain among the.Ti–51at%Ni SMAs we.e.1376 MPa and 29%,re.pe.tive.y,for the.sample.sinte.e. at 900°C for 30 min be.ause.of this sample.s minimal porosity.
