State. we.e.initially limite. to pe.ple.who we.e.trave.ing or symptomatic to track dise.se.incide.ce.due.to the.cost of providing te.ting for all pe.ple.in a community on a routine.basis. As an alte.native.to randomly sampling large.groups of pe.ple.to track dise.se.incide.ce.at significant cost, waste.ate.-base. e.ide.iology (WBe. is a we.l-e.tablishe. and cost-e.fe.tive.te.hnique.to passive.y me.sure.the.pre.ale.ce.of dise.se.in communitie. without re.uiring invasive.te.ting. WBe.can also be.use. as a fore.asting tool since.the.virus is she. in individuals prior to de.e.oping symptoms that might othe.wise.prompt te.ting. This study applie. the.WBe.approach to unde.stand its e.fe.tive.e.s as a possible.fore.asting tool by monitoring the.SARS-CoV-2 le.e.s in raw waste.ate. sample. from se.e. lift stations at a large.public unive.sity campus se.ting including dormitorie., acade.ic buildings, and athle.ic facilitie.. The.WBe.analysis was conducte. by sampling from building-spe.ific lift stations and e.ume.ating targe. viral copie. using RT-qPCR analysis. The.WBe.re.ults we.e.compare. with the.7-day rolling ave.age. of confirme. infe.te. individuals for the.following we.k afte. the.waste.ate. sample.analysis. In most case., change. in the.WBe.outcome. we.e.followe. by similar tre.ds in the.clinical data. The.positive.pre.ictive.value.of the.applie. WBe.approach was 86% for the.following we.k of the.sample.colle.tion. In contrast, positive.corre.ations be.we.n the.two data with Spe.rme. corre.ation (rs) range. from 0.16 to 0.36. The.se.rch for ne. biomarke.s pre.ictive.of type.2 diabe.e. curre.tly constitute. a re.e.rch ave.ue.in Bioclinical. Total homocyste.ne.re.ains a pre.e.re. targe. due.to its involve.e.t in the.occurre.ce.of de.e.e.ative.complications in type.2 diabe.ics. The.aim of this work was to study hype.homocyste.ne.ia and othe. bioche.ical marke.s associate. with T2D in the.Congole.e.population. This was an analytical case.control study carrie. out be.we.n Octobe. 2022 and Octobe. 2023. The.study population consiste. of 150 subje.ts including 100 T2D patie.ts and 50 control subje.ts. The.main clinical data we.e.colle.te. on a pre.e.tablishe. form. Homocyste.ne.de.e.mination was carrie. out by the.sandwich e.ISA me.hod. The.othe. bioche.ical marke.s we.e.me.sure. by colorime.ric e.zymatic me.hods. Hype.homocyste.ne.ia was pre.e.t in 27.3% (41/150) of the.e.tire.study population. Type.2 diabe.ics had a fre.ue.cy of hype.homocyste.ne.ia of 36% (36/100) and control 10% (5/50) (p = 0.001). The.me.n hype.homocyste.ne.ia conce.tration was 31.9 μmol/l with e.tre.e. ranging from 18 to 103 μmol/l. Me.ns of biological marke.s be.we.n diabe.ics and controls showe. a statistically significant diffe.e.ce.(p = 0.01). The.risk factors associate. with this HHcy we.e. se. (OR = 3.5), age.(OR = 9.4), se.e.tary life.tyle.(OR = 3.4) and glycosylate. he.oglobin (OR = 12) with a p-value.e.pe.tive.y. This preliminary study assessed parameters of stasis and gamma radiation on human adipose stem cells (ADSCs) that have important regenerative functions for the body. A prototype pharmaceutical formulation (PF) was tested to prevent and reverse the effects of radiation and stasis. e."font-family:Ve.dana;">ADSCs we.e.subje.te. to short-te.m (1 - 5 days) and longe.-te.m (8 - 25 days) stasis and radiation with a combine. total e.posure.of alpha, be.a and gamma radiation me.sure. at 455 microSv/hr on the.Ge.ge. counte.. Chine.e.che.tnut (Castane. mollissima) (RFDC) coate. with dark chocolate.(DCC) and milk chocolate.(MCC) for industrial use.and comme.cial consumption. Chocolate.coating significantly improve. the.nutritional value.of che.tnut. RFDC had high le.e.s of starch (66.23%) and fibe.s (3.85%) while.DCC and MCC containe. significantly high amounts of sucrose. prote.n, fat and mine.als. Furthe.more. the.prote.n conte.t double. in MCC rathe. than in DCC. This could be.attribute. to the.diffe.e.t formulations in the.two products. Milk powde. and whe. prote.n constitute. the.source.of prote.n in MCC while.cocoa powde. adde. to MCC formulation constitute. an additional source.of mine.als. The.amino acid profile.showe. diffe.e.ce. in amino acid composition re.ate. to the.sample.s prote.n conte.t, indicating the.r good nutritional quality. The.moisture.conte.ts in all RFDC, DCC and MCC we.e.suitable.for industrial proce.sing. Introduction: Sinonasal polyposis (SNP) is a chronic inflammatory dise.se.of the.mucosa of the.nasal cavitie. and facial sinuse.. It is characte.ize. by an oe.e.atous, multifocal and bilate.al de.e.e.ation of the.nasosinus mucosa, which originate. in the.late.al masse. of the.e.hmoid, whe.e.it cause. the.formation of smooth, ge.atinous, transluce.t and pyriform polyp le.ions. The.obje.tive.of this study was to re.ie. e.ide.iological, clinical, paraclinical data and e.aluate.the.re.ults of e.doscopic surgical tre.tme.t. Patie.ts and Me.hods: This is a re.rospe.tive.study on 60 patie.ts followe. at the.e.T de.artme.t of the.Fann National Unive.sity Hospital Ce.te., from January 2010 to De.e.be. 2015. All patie.ts with sinonasal polyposis we.e.include. in the.study. Re.ults: The.ave.age.age.of our patie.ts was 38 ye.rs and the.se. ratio (M/F) was 0.8. In the.patie.ts’ historie., we.found 18% asthma and 10% Widal’s dise.se. The.ave.age.consultation time.was 8.5 ye.rs. All patie.ts had consulte. for nasal obstruction;rhinorrhe. was bilate.al and found in 67.7% of case., with olfactory disorde.s accounting for 50%. The.CT scan pe.forme. in 58% of case. made.it possible.to spe.ify the.e.te.t of the.le.ions;the.involve.e.t of the.e.hmoidal sinus was constant and e.te.de. to the.othe. sinuse. e.ce.t in 2 case.. All patie.ts had re.e.ve. me.ical tre.tme.t with local corticoste.oids. e.doscopic surgical tre.tme.t was initiate. in 43% of case. afte. failure.of corticoste.oid-base. me.ical tre.tme.t. The.e.olution unde. tre.tme.t marke. by the.re.ppe.rance.of symptoms that incre.se. e.ch month. At one.month postope.ative.y, all clinical symptomatology had improve. with the.e.ce.tion of olfactory disorde.s, which pe.siste. in 3 patie.ts. In e.ch sample.plot we.ide.tifie. all tre.s to the.spe.ie. le.e., re.orde. the.r fre.ue.cie. and compute. spe.ie. dive.sity and importance.value.indice. (IVI). A total of 13 tre. spe.ie., which be.ong to 12 ge.e.a and nine.familie., we.e.ide.tifie. in the.tre. laye. of the.fore.t. Me.n tre. de.sity in ANFR was 116 tre.s/ha, compose. mainly of Boswe.lia papyrife.a (De..) Hochst. (48), followe. by Combre.um hartmannianu (19) and Lanne. fruticosa (18).
