Monosescinol A(1),the first example of sesquiterpene–polycyclic polyprenylated acylphloroglucinol(PPAP)adduct,which represented a new subclass of PPAP-type natural products,along with two new congeners with normal spiro 6/6/5 tricyclic architecture,were isolated from Hypericum *** A possessed an unprecedented 6/5/5/6/6 pentacyclic carbon skeleton that might be assembled from the 6/6/5 carbon skeleton,via the splitting decomposition of C-3/C-14,and the attack from the C-3 in the PPAP core to C-28 in sesquiterpene *** addition,we have firstly confirmed that 24R configuration was existed in sec–Bu containing PPAPs by single crystal diffraction data analysis of monosescinol B(2),that might provide an enlightenment in the configurational determination of sec–Bu containing ***,further pharmacological research has found that compound 1 exhibited remarkable pharmacological effects against acute myeloid leukemia(AML)cell lines,with direct inhibition of mitochondrial complex V and an increase in mitochondrial membrane potential,and led to an induction of oxidative stress,endogenous inflammation,and apoptosis of AML cells.

High-efficiency seawater electrolysis is impeded by the low activity and low durability of oxygen evolution catalysts due to the complex composition and competitive side reactions in ***,a heterogeneousstructured catalyst is constructed by depositing NiFe-layered double hydroxides （NiFe-LDH） on the substrate of MXene （V2CTx） modified Ni foam （NF）,and abbreviated as NiFe-LDH/V2CTx/*** demonstrated,owing to the intrinsic negative charge characteristic of V2CTx,chlorine ions are denied entry to the interface between NiFeLDH and V2CTx/NF substrate,thus endowing NiFe-LDH/V2CTx/NF catalyst with high corrosion resistance and durable stability for 110 h at 500 mA ***,the two-dimensional structure and high electrical conductivity of V2CTxcan respectively enlarge the electrochemical active surface area and guarantee fast charge transfer,thereby synergistically promoting the catalytic performance of NiFe-LDH/V2CTx/NF in both deionized water electrolyte (261 m V at 100 m A cm-2) and simulated seawater electrolyte (241 mV at 100 mA cm-2).This work can guide the preparation of oxygen evolution catalysts and accelerate the industrialization of seawater electrolysis.

Anther dehiscence is a crucial event in plant reproduction,tightly regulated and dependent on the lignification of the anther *** this study,we investigated the rapid lignification process that ensures timely anther dehiscence in *** findings reveal that endothecium lignification can be divided into two distinct *** Phase Ⅰ,lignin precursors are synthesized without polymerization,while Phase Ⅱ involves simultaneous synthesis of lignin precursors and *** transcription factors MYB26,NST1/2,and ARF17 specifically regulate the pathway responsible for the synthesis and polymerization of lignin monomers in Phase Ⅱ.MYB26-NST1/2 is the key regulatory pathway responsible for endothecium lignification,while ARF17 facilitates this process by interacting with ***,our results demonstrate that the lignification of the endothecium,which occurs within approximately 26 h,is much faster than that of the vascular *** findings provide valuable insights into the regulation mechanism of rapid lignification in the endothecium,which enables timely anther dehiscence and successful pollen release during plant reproduction.

Stretchable electronics that monitor joint activity and treat diseases based on liquid metal could be used in the development of healthcare *** devices can be seamlessly integrated with human ***,most high-precision microstructures and complex patterns are difficult to fabricate due to the limitations of conventional fabrication solutions,resulting in suboptimal performance under practical ***,a liquid-metal stretchable system utilizing natural leaf veins was reported as microstructures,which was based on a biomimetic concept and utilized an all-solution process for the preparation of complex *** systems are ultra-high tensile(800%tensile strain),environmentally stable(20 days)and mechanically durable(300-cycle).The system can accurately recognize the wearer's finger bending level as well as simple gesture *** the same time,the system acts as a wearable heater,which can realize the fast heating behavior of heating up to 50℃in 3 min under the human body-safe voltage(1.5 V).The tensile stability is demonstrated by the heterogeneous integration of lasers(405 nm)with the system interconnects for a stretchable and wearable light source.

Optical temperature sensing based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)of red emission for lanthanide ions holds significant relevance in non-contact temperature measurement for biological *** this study,the perovskite-structured KZnF_(3)is utilized as a host material for Er^(3+)to achieve a high-purity upconversion(UC)red *** observed Stark splitting of the red emission peak provides evidence of the energy level splitting of Er^(3+).Group theory is employed to decompose the spectral branching of Er^(3+)under the point group symmetry of KZnF_(3),allowing for the derivation of Stark splitting energy levels induced by the crystal field *** optical temperature-sensing behavior of the red UC luminescence was investigated,specifically examining the FIR of the splitting sub-peaks,which exhibited an exponential relationship with *** KZnF_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)demonstrated a relative sensitivity(S_(r))of 0.00182%·K^(-1)at 298 K,highlighting its excellent response to *** vivo bio-thermometry experiments conducted on chicken breast validated the material's ability to penetrate biological tissues and showed its significant sensitivity of the FIR to *** results establish KZnF_(3):Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)as a promising material for optical thermometry in various biological applications.

MXene,a transition metal carbide/nitride,has been prominent as an ideal electrochemical active material for ***,the low MXene load limits its practical *** environmental concerns and sustainable development become more widely recognized,it is necessary to explore a greener and cleaner technology to recycle textile by-products such as *** present study proposes an effective 3D fabrication method that uses MXene to fabricate waste denim felt into ultralight and flexible supercapacitors through needling and *** 3D structure provided more sites for loading MXene onto Z-directional fiber bundles,resulting in more efficient ion exchange between the electrolyte and ***,the carbonization process removed the specific adverse groups in MXenes,further improving the specific capacitance,energy density,power density and electrical conductivity of *** electrodes achieve a maximum specific capacitance of 1748.5 mF cm-2 and demonstrate remarkable cycling stability maintaining more than 94%after 15,000 galvanostatic charge/discharge ***,the obtained supercapacitors present a maximum specific capacitance of 577.5 mF cm^(-2),energy density of 80.2μWh cm^(-2)and power density of 3 mW cm^(-2),*** resulting supercapacitors can be used to develop smart wearable power devices such as smartwatches,laying the foundation for a novel strategy of utilizing waste cotton in a high-quality manner.

The activation of spinal astrocytes accounts for opioid-induced hyperalgesia(OIH),but the underlying mechanisms remain *** presence of astrocyte-neuron lactate shuttle(ANLS)makes astrocytes necessary for some neural function and *** aim of this study was to explore the role of ANLS in the occurrence and maintenance of *** 7 days consecutive morphine injection,a mice OIH model was established and astrocytic pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 4(PDK4),phosphorylated pyruvate dehydrogenase(p-PDH)and accumulation of L-lactate was elevated in the spinal dorsal *** administration of inhibitors of PDK,lactate dehydrogenase 5 and monocarboxylate transporters to decrease the supply of L-lactate on neurons was observed to attenuate hypersensitivity behaviors induced by repeated morphine administration and downregulate the expression of markers of central sensitization in the spinal dorsal *** astrocyte line and the neuronal line were co-cultured to investigate the mechanisms in *** this study,we demonstrated that morphine-induced hyperalgesia was sustained by lactate overload consequent upon aberrant function of spinal *** this process,PDK-p-PDH-lactate axis serves a pivotal role,which might therefore be a new target to improve long-term opioid treatment strategy in clinical practice.

Spinal cord injury(SCI)is one of the most devastating traumas,and the aberrant proliferation of astrocytes usually causes neurological ***,the mechanism underlying astrocyte over-proliferation after SCI is ***2c(glutamate ionotropic receptor type 2c)plays an essential role in cell *** bioinformatic analysis indicated that Grin2c and Ca^(2+)transport functions were inhibited in astrocytes after *** of Grin2c stimulated astrocyte proliferation by inhibiting the Ca^(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 2b(CaMK2b)pathway in *** screening different inflammatory factors,interleukin 1α(IL1α)was further found to inhibit Grin2c/Ca^(2+)/CaMK2b and enhance astrocyte proliferation in an oxidative damage *** of IL1αusing neutralizing antibody resulted in increased Grin2c expression and the inhibition of astrocyte proliferation ***,this study suggests that IL1αpromotes astrocyte proliferation by suppressing the Grin2c/Ca^(2+)/CaMK2b pathway after SCI,revealing a novel pathological mechanism of astrocyte proliferation,and may provide potential targets for SCI repair.

Black rice， as a dietary supplement， has received increasing attention because of its beneficial health properties. Although black rice and its major ingredients have been considered a potential therapy for ulcerative colitis (UC)， its effect and underlying mechanism of action remain obscure. In this study， black rice was demonstrated to improve Dextran Sulfate Sodium Salt (DSS)-induced UC and restore intestinal barrier dysfunction. Cyanidin 3-O-glucoside (C3G) is the most abundant ingredient in black rice. Similarly， in vivo and in vitro studies have demonstrated that C3G alleviates colitis and intestinal barrier dysfunction. Proteomic analysis showed that C3G significantly reduced abnormally elevated swiprosin-1 levels in mice with colitis. Furthermore， the effect of C3G on mitigating colitis was inhibited after swiprosin-1 was overexpressed in intestinal tissue in vivo and Caco-2 cells in vitro. Acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 1 (ACSL1) was identified as a potential protein that interacts with swiprosin-1 by co-immunoprecipitation and liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. By integrating metabolomics experiments and bioinformatics analysis of single-cell sequencing， ACSL1 was found to selectively bind to swiprosin-1 and regulate downstream linoleic acid metabolism in colitis. Moreover， C3G was observed to prevent the localization of ACSL1 within mitochondria via swiprosin-1， thereby inhibiting the oxidation of linoleic acid. This study demonstrated that C3G targeted swiprosin-1 to ameliorate UC via ASCL1-mediated linoleic acid metabolism， thereby providing a novel potential insight into the mechanism of C3G protection against colitis and establishing the groundwork for its clinical application.

Juvenile hormone(JH)acts in the regulation of caste differentiation between queens and workers(i.e.,with or without reproductive capacity)during vitellin synthesis and oogenesis in social ***,the regulatory mechanisms have not yet been ***,we identified a highly expressed microRNA(miRNA),miR-1175-3p,in the red imported fire ant,Solenopsis *** found that miR-1175-3p is prominently present in the fat bodies and ovaries of ***,miR-1175-3p interacts with its target gene,broad-complex core(Br-C),in the fat *** utilizing miR-1175-3p agomir,we successfully suppressed the expression of the Br-C protein in queens,resulting in reduced vitellogenin expression,fewer eggs,and poorly developed ***,decreasing miR-1175-3p levels led to the increased expression of Br-C and vitellogenin in workers,triggering the“re-development”of the ***,when queens were fed with JH,the expression of miR-1175-3p decreased,whereas the expression of vitellogenin-2 and vitellogenin-3 ***,the suppression of fertility in queens caused by treatment with agomir miR-1175-3p was completely rescued by the increased vitellogenin expression induced by being fed with *** results suggest the critical role of miR-1175-3p in JH-regulated reproduction,shedding light on the molecular mechanism underlying miRNA-mediated fecundity in social insects and providing a novel strategy for managing ***.
