Objective:To assess the nephroprotective potential of agmatine in a rat model of streptozotocin-induced diabetic ***:A single dose of streptozotocin(40 mg/kg)coupled with a fructose diet induced diabetes in Wistar ***(40 and 80 mg/kg)was administered to rats for 12 *** body weight and fasting blood glucose were measured *** level,urine output,total protein,albumin,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,and cystatin-C were also determined at the end of the ***,superoxide dismutase,glutathione,interleukin-1β,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor-alpha were evaluated in kidney *** study was also performed using hematoxylin and eosin ***:Agmatine at both doses significantly increased final body weight,and lowered fasting blood glucose,urine output,insulin,total protein,albumin,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,and cystatin-C levels compared with the diabetic group(P<0.05).Inflammatory markers and antioxidant effect were significantly improved in agmatine-treated ***,the histopathological changes in renal structure were ameliorated by agmatine ***:Agmatine alleviates diabetic nephropathy by improving renal functions and reducing inflammation and oxidative *** molecular mechanisms of its nephroprotective actions need to be investigated in future study.

In this paper,a supervisory computer network for Borneo-Wide Power Grid system have been proposed and implemented,which includes a renewable power generation and advanced metering *** Internet-based communication network running on multi-protocol label switching(MPLS)has been implemented for a smart power grid,with the addition of the renewable energy monitoring *** centralized supervisory control and data acquisition systems(SCADA)are replaced by a wide area monitoring system(WAMS)comprising of a phasor measurement unit(PMU).The implemented communication network used advanced metering infrastructure that operates on worldwide interoperability for microwave access(WiMAX),wireless fidelity(Wi-Fi)and low power Wi-Fi,which are proposed for the distribution systems of Sarawak *** proposed wide area network(WAN)is simulated using OPNET Modeler and the results are compared with the existing WAN used by Sarawak Energy.

The motivation for this study is that the quality of deep fakes is constantly improving,which leads to the need to develop new methods for their *** proposed Customized Convolutional Neural Network method involves extracting structured data from video frames using facial landmark detection,which is then used as input to the *** customized Convolutional Neural Network method is the date augmented-based CNN model to generate‘fake data’or‘fake images’.This study was carried out using Python and its *** used 242 films from the dataset gathered by the Deep Fake Detection Challenge,of which 199 were made up and the remaining 53 were *** seconds were allotted for each *** were 318 videos used in all,199 of which were fake and 119 of which were *** proposedmethod achieved a testing accuracy of 91.47%,loss of 0.342,and AUC score of 0.92,outperforming two alternative approaches,CNN and ***,our method succeeded in greater accuracy than contemporary models such as XceptionNet,Meso-4,EfficientNet-BO,MesoInception-4,VGG-16,and *** novelty of this investigation is the development of a new Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)learning model that can accurately detect deep fake face photos.

Soil curling is an important phenomenon associated with volume changes induced by increasing soil suction upon *** study of soil behaviors associated with drying in soils(*** shrinkage,desiccation cracks and curling)has received increasing attention over the last few years,which has been mainly driven by the forecast climate change that will warm up our *** are significant gaps in the current knowledge related to the factors that control the development of curling deformations in *** this,the curling phenomenon is investigated through laboratory desiccation tests on different mixtures of artificial *** effects of soil grain size distribution,mineralogy,soil microstructure,and soil water content on the curling deformation are *** photos were taken at regular time intervals during the tests to understand the volume changes in the soil samples during *** is found that soil fabric and soil water content have significant effects on curling *** is observed that the percentage of sand particles and the initial water content play a critical role in the development of soil *** of pure clayey minerals experienced shrinkage without or with minor curling during drying.

This study identified the methods used by kindergarten teachers to reduce bullying among their students in and out of the classroom and examined differences based on the teachers’years of experience and the number of courses on bullying they had taken.A descriptive survey using a questionnaire tool collected responses from 208 public kindergarten teachers in Riyadh,Kingdom of Saudi *** participants agreed with using such methods to reduce bullying among children as responding to parents’reports and following up on the reasons for a child’s *** also agreed that bullying in the classroom could be reduced by methods such as avoiding comparisons between children and helping to build friendships among ***,the teachers agreed to use some methods in which the teacher relies on her authority,such as depriving the bully of play time and transfer-ring him/her to another *** methods were endorsed more strongly by teachers with at least 10 years of experience than by those with less experience,but no significant difference was observed according to the number of bullying courses *** addition,there is a lack of courses that focus on dealing with and confronting bully-ing in educational *** study highlights the need to provide teachers with training on how to deal with bullying and to set specific and clear policies on addressing bullying in kindergarten.

Self-driving and semi-self-driving cars play an important role in our daily *** effectiveness of these cars is based heavily on the use of their surrounding areas to collect sensitive and vital ***,external infrastructures also play significant roles in the transmission and reception of control data,cooperative awareness messages,and caution *** this case,roadside units are considered one of themost important communication *** distribution of these infrastructures will overburden the spread of self-driving vehicles in terms of cost,bandwidth,connectivity,and radio coverage *** this paper,a new distributed roadside unit is proposed to enhance the performance and connectivity of these ***,this approach is based primarily on k-means to find the optimal location of each roadside *** addition,this approach supports dynamicmobility with a long period of connectivity for each ***,this system can adapt to various locations(e.g.,highways,rural areas,urban environments).The simulation results of the proposed system are reflected in its efficiency and ***,the system can achieve a high connectivity rate with a low error rate while reducing costs.

Ensuring the reliability of pipe pile designs under earthquake loading necessitates an accurate determination of lateral displacement and bending moment,typically achieved through complex numerical modeling to address the intricacies of soil-pile *** recent advancements in machine learning techniques,there is a persistent need to establish data-driven models that can predict these parameters without using numerical simulations due to the difficulties in conducting correct numerical simulations and the need for constitutive modelling parameters that are not readily *** research presents novel lateral displacement and bending moment predictive models for closed and open-ended pipe piles,employing a Genetic Programming(GP)*** a soil dataset extracted from existing literature,comprising 392 data points for both pile types embedded in cohesionless soil and subjected to earthquake loading,the study intentionally limited input parameters to three features to enhance model simplicity:Standard Penetration Test(SPT)corrected blow count(N60),Peak Ground Acceleration(PGA),and pile slenderness ratio(L/D).Model performance was assessed via coefficient of determination(R^(2)),Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE),and Mean Absolute Error(MAE),with R^(2) values ranging from 0.95 to 0.99 for the training set,and from 0.92 to 0.98 for the testing set,which indicate of high accuracy of ***,the study concludes with a sensitivity analysis,evaluating the influence of each input parameter across different pile types.

The nuclear structure for some target nuclei namely: 32S, 58Ni, 89Y, 90Zr, 100Mo and 197Au used for production of the therapeutic radionuclides;32P, 58Co, 89Sr, 90Y, 99Mo, 100Tc, 197Pt and 197Hg has been investigated using Skyrme-Hartree-Fock method based on Skyrme effective two-body interaction. For these purpose, we have calculated the various nuclear densities, the corresponding root mean square radii and nuclear binding energies. The density dependent initial neutron and proton exciton numbers have been also calculated which give the ability to investigate the neutron and proton induced reaction cross-sections for these target nuclei using hybrid model for pre-equilibrium nuclear reactions. The calculated results are compared with available experimental data.
