The Viral Load of Epstein-Barr Virus in Blood of Children after Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

Objective To detect the Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)viral load of children after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT)using chip digital PCR(cdPCR).Methods The sensitivity of cdPCR was determined using EBV plasmids and the EBV B95-8 *** specificity of EBV cdPCR was evaluated using the EBV B95-8 strain and other herpesviruses(herpes simplex virus 1,herpes simplex virus 2,varicella zoster virus,human cytomegalovirus,human herpesvirus 6,and human herpesvirus 7).From May 2019 to September 2020,64 serum samples of children following HSCT were *** infection and the viral load of serum samples were detected by *** epidemiological characteristics of EBV infections were analyzed in HSCT *** The limit of detection of EBV cdPCR was 110 copies/mL,and the limit of detection of EBV quantitative PCR was 327 copies/mL for the pUC57-BALF5 *** result of EBV cdPCR was up to 121 copies/mL in the EBV B95-8 strain,and both were more sensitive than that of quantitative *** cdPCR,the incidence of EBV infection was 18.75%in 64 children after *** minimum EBV viral load was 140 copies/mL,and the maximum viral load was 3,209 copies/mL using *** average hospital stay of children with EBV infection(184±91 days)was longer than that of children without EBV infection(125±79 days),P=*** EBV cdPCR had good sensitivity and *** incidence of EBV infection was 18.75%in 64 children after HSCT from May 2019 to September *** cdPCR could therefore be a novel method to detect EBV viral load in children after HSCT.

Application of Geometric Midline Yield Criterion for Strip Drawing

A new linear yield criterion expressed by the geometric midline of error triangle between Tresca and Twin shear stress yield loci on the π-plane in haigh-Westergaard space was introduced. The criterion was written in terms of the values of principal stress deviator and called GM yield criterion for short. Together with a Cartesian coordinate velocity field instead of the Avitzur＇s, the GM criterion was used to obtain an analytical solution for strip drawing. With a working example of the strip drawing through wedge-shaped die, the results of relative drawing stress calculated by the GM criterion were compared with those calculated by Mises＇ criterion from Avitzur formula. It indicated that the calculated results according to analytical solution were in good agreement with the numerical solution obtained from Avitzur formula.

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection is closely associated with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC)and considered one of the major risk factors[1]. A limited number of viral proteins, such as latent membrane proteins (LMP1, LMP2) and EB nuclear antigen1 (EBNA1), are expressed in NPC cells[2].Recognition epitopes for CD8+and CD4+T cells were included in the LMP2 antigen and EBNA1 C-terminal region (amino acid No. 380-641), respectively[3,4].Both CD4+and CD8+memory T-cell responses were efficiently reactivated by EBNA1 and LMP2[5;6].

Particle entrainment is an inevitable phenomenon in pipeline systems,especially during the develop-ment and extraction phases of oil and gas *** predicting the critical velocity for particle transport is a key focus for implementing effective sand control *** work presents a semi-supervised learning-deep hybrid kernel extreme learning machine(SSL-DHKELM)model for predicting the critical velocity,which integrates multiple machine learning theories including the deep learning approach,which is adept at advanced feature ***,the SSL framework enhances the model's capabilities when data availability is *** improved slime mould algorithm is also employed to optimize the model's *** proposed model has high accuracy on both the sample dataset and out-of-sample *** trained with only 10％of the data,the model's error still did not increase ***,this model achieves superior predictive accuracy compared to existing mechanistic models,demonstrating its impressive performance and robustness.

The water-living reptile genus Hyphalosaurus was previously discovered in the Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation bearing the middle Jehol Biota in western Liaoning,*** complete skeletons of Hyphalosaurus are reported for the first time from the Jiufotang Formation bearing the late Jehol Biota at two sites in western *** show the typical characteristics of Hyphalosaurus baitaigouensis in terms of the contact between some cranial bones and the number of cervical and dorsal vertebrae,and therefore are assigned to *** discovery extends the stratigraphic range of this species from the Yixian Formation to the overlying Jiufotang *** paper further briefly compares the main characteristics of the two skeletons,summarizes the temporal and spatial distribution of Hyphalosaurus,and discusses the palaeogeographic evolution of western Liaoning at the middle and late Jehol Biota stages based on the aquatic habits of Hyphalosaurus and the geological background of western *** analytical results show that the volcanic downwarped lakes,with distinct geographical divisions in western Liaoning during the deposition of the Yixian Formation,had not completely disappeared till the deposition of the Jiufotang *** palaeo-lake in the Fuxin-Yixian Basin underwent the process of generation,expansion and shrinkage during the depositional period of the Yixian Formation and finally merged into a large *** palaeo-Dalinghe River,which connected the main basins in western Liaoning during the depositional period of the Jiufotang Formation,was formed simultaneously.

Objective To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a vaccine based on latent membrane protein 2(LMP2)modified dendritic cells(DCs)that boosts specific responses of cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTLs)to LMP2 before and after intradermal injection in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).Methods DCs were derived from peripheral blood monocytes of patients with *** prepared LMP2-DCs infected by recombinant adenovirus vector expressing LMP2(rAd-LMP2).NPC patients were immunized with 2×105 LMP2-DCs by intradermal injection at week 0 and after the second and fourth *** responses to LMP2 were detected by enzyme-linked immunospot(ELISPOT)assay at week 0 and at the fifth and eighth *** clinicians performed the follow-up and tracking of *** We demonstrated that DCs derived from monocytes displayed typical DC morphologies;the expression of LMP2 in the LMP2-DCs vaccine was confirmed by immunocytochemical ***-nine patients with NPC were enrolled in this clinical *** LMP2-DCs vaccine was well tolerated in all of the *** responses to LMP2 peptide sub-pools were observed in 18 of the 29 patients with *** follow-up data of 29 immunized patients from April,2010 to April 2015 indicated a five-year survival rate of 94.4%in responders and 45.5%in *** In this pilot study,we demonstrated that the LMP2-DCs vaccine is safe and effective in patients with *** CTLs responses to LMP2 play a certain role in controlling and preventing the recurrence and metastasis of NPC,which warrants further clinical testing.

Lateral predictive coding is a recurrent neural network that creates energy-efficient internal representations by exploiting statistical regularity in sensory ***,we analytically investigate the trade-off between information robustness and energy in a linear model of lateral predictive coding and numerically minimize a free energy *** observed several phase transitions in the synaptic weight matrix,particularly a continuous transition that breaks reciprocity and permutation symmetry and builds cyclic dominance and a discontinuous transition with the associated sudden emergence of tight balance between excitatory and inhibitory *** optimal network follows an ideal gas law over an extended temperature range and saturates the efficiency upper bound of energy *** results provide theoretical insights into the emergence and evolution of complex internal models in predictive processing systems.

摩崖榜书是一种大众喜欢而流传不衰的文学现象,而文学研究者极少议及。这些榜书别集不载,文选与文论著述也无关注。榜书具有明显的文学意义,它以诗性语言、书法语言、境文虚实相生,表达了作者对时事、历史文化、草木山川、人文建筑的感受与评价,是抒写情志的重要形式。摩崖榜书的文学意义建立在原生基础之上,与存在环境密不可分,不可移动、不可再造、不可改变载体,否则,其文学意义也就消失或改变。
