On accomplishing an efficacious object tracking,the activity of an object concerned becomes notified in a forthright *** accurate form of object tracking task necessitates a robust object tracking procedures irrespective of hardware *** approaches inferred a vast computational complexity to track an object with high accuracy in a stipulated amount of processing *** the other hand,the tracking gets affected owing to the existence of varied quality diminishing factors such as occlusion,illumination changes,shadows etc.,In order to rectify all these inadequacies in tracking an object,a novel background normalization procedure articulated on the basis of a textural pattern is proposed in this *** preprocessing an acquired image,employment of an Environmental Succession Prediction algorithm for discriminating disparate background environment by background clustering approach have been ***,abstract textural characterizations through utilization of a Probability based Gradient Pattern(PGP)approach for recognizing the similarity between patterns obtained so *** between standardized frame obtained in prior and those processed patterns detects the motion exposed by an object and the object concerned gets identified within a ***,the system is resistant towards illumination *** illumination variation was interpreted in object tracking residing within a dynamic *** approach certainly outperforms other object tracking methodologies like Group Target Tracking(GTT),Vi PER-GT,grabcut,snakes in terms of accuracy and average *** PGP-based pattern texture analysis is compared with Gamifying Video Object(GVO)approach and hence,it evidently outperforms in terms of precision,recall and F1 measure.

Modeling oblique load carrying capacity of batter pile groups using neural network,random forest regression and M5 model tree

M5 model tree,random forest regression(RF)and neural network(NN)based modelling approaches were used to predict oblique load carrying capacity of batter pile groups using 247 laboratory experiments with smooth and rough pile *** length(L),angle of oblique load(a),sand density(ρ),number of batter piles(B),and number of vertical piles(V)as input and oblique load(Q)as output was *** suggest improved performance by RF regression for both pile groups.M5 model tree provides simple linear relation which can be used for the prediction of oblique load for field data *** developed using RF regression approach with smooth pile group data was found to be in good agreement for rough piles *** based approach was found performing equally well with both smooth and rough *** analysis using all three modelling approaches suggest angle of oblique load(a)and number of batter pile(B)affect the oblique load capacity for both smooth and rough pile groups.

Efficient blue perovskite LEDs from quantum confined structures

Lead halide perovskites have been leading the optoelectronic field for the last several years,with exceptional progress in photovoltaics and rapid improvement in light emitting diodes(LEDs).LEDs are limited by outcoupling and waveguiding to approximately 20%external quantum efficiency(EQE),and infrared and green perovskite LEDs have already reached this threshold[1-3].For most applications,however,blue light is also required,and blue perovskite LEDs have been left behind,with a maximum EQE of 5.7%at 480 nm[4],and〜2%at wavelengths less than 470 nm[5].These lower efficiencies are due to both challenges inherent in blue(i.e.,wide band gap)materials as well as stability and defect problems specific to blue perovskites.

A Universal Hybrid Precoding Scheme for Massive MIMO Communications

Based on an analog radio frequency(RF)network,hybrid precoding(HPC)for massive MIMO can achieve very high spectral efficiencies with moderate hardware cost and power *** the extensive research efforts in recent years,the practioners are still looking for HPCs that are efficient and *** this paper,we present a new method termed as the universal hybrid precoding(UHP),which is nearly optimal,computationally efficient,and applicable to various types of RF network(thus,the name universal):the components of the network can be phase shifters(with finite or infinite resolutions),switches,or their combinations;the topology of the network can be fully-connected or *** the standard UHP,we also propose a simplified version termed as sUHP to trade a negligible performance loss for much reduced computational *** analysis shows that the computational complexity of the proposed UHP/sUHP is one to two orders of magnitude lower than the state-of-theart *** results verify the(near-)optimality of the proposed UHP scheme for various forms of the analog networks.

Microstructural Characterization and Mechanical Properties of Powder Metallurgy Dual Phase Steel Preforms

In order to improve the mechanical properties of powder metallurgy （P/M） ferrite-pearlite steel, a dual phase （DP） ferrite-martensite steel was produced through intercritical annealing of sintered P/M preforms. Mi-crostructures of the sintered and DP steels were examined with optical, scanning and transmission electron microscopes. Mechanical properties were evaluated through hardness measurements and compression tests. Microstructural studies revealed that sintered steel contained polygonal ferrite-pearlite while the DP steel contained polygonal, lath and acicular ferrite along with lath-type martensite as microstructural constituents. In DP steels, with increasing mean preform density, the microstructure contained fine and continuous network of martensite colonies with minimum porosity. The work hardening rate vs plastic strain plots （Jaoul-Crussard analysis） of both the steels revealed typical three stage deformation behaviour for low and high mean preform densities. Compression tests revealed that, DP P/M steel displayed higher strength-plasticity combination than the sintered steel.

An experimental study on ballistic impact response of jute reinforced polyethylene glycol and nano silica based shear thickening fluid composite

The present study aims at assessing the ballistic impact behaviour of jute reinforced polyethylene glycol(PEG)and nano silica based shear thickening fluid(STF).Preparation of STF is achieved by dispersing the nano silica particles at different weight percentage loadings of 10%,20%,30%and 40%in PEG and the effect of various weight percentages loading of nano silica particles on ballistic performance of the proposed composites is studied *** studies of the prepared STF’s showed that at all nanosilica loading shear thickening occurred and also the shear thickening was highest at higher loading of nano silica at lower rate of *** study reveals that the ballistic performance of the jute fabric is enhanced with impregnation of *** ballistic results indicate that energy absorption of the proposed composites is enhanced with increased loading of nano silica particles and at the same time,the effect of STF was *** energy absorption(SEA)of the neat fabric and the proposed composites was made use of for the purpose of comparing the energy absorption *** is found that the SEA of proposed composites with 10%nano silica loading is lesser than the neat fabric both in case of 3 layers and 6 *** was also found that proposed composite with 40%nano silica loading exhibits highest SEA compared to neat fabric and its counterparts with its SEA being 3.21 and 3.76 times highest compared to three and six layers of neat fabrics respectively.

Capsule endoscopy:Present status and future expectation

Video capsule endoscopy (CE) since its introduction 13 years back, has revolutionized our approach to small intestinal diseases. Obscure gastrointestinal bleed (OGIB) continues to be the most important indication for CE with a high sensitivity, specificity as well as positive and negative predictive values. It is best performed during ongoing bleed or immediately thereafter. Overt OGIB has a higher diagnostic yield than occult OGIB. However, even in iron deficiency anemia, CE is emerging as important investigation after initial negative work up. In suspected Crohn’s disease (CD), CE has been shown superior to traditional imaging and endoscopic technique and should be considered after a negative ileocolonoscopy. Although CE has also been used for evaluating established CD, a high capsule retention rate precludes its use ahead of cross-sectional imaging. Celiac disease, particularly where gastro-duodenoscopy cannot be performed or is normal, can also be investigated by CE. Small bowel tumor, hereditary polyposis syndrome, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs induced intestinal damage are other indications for CE. Capsule retention is the only significant adverse outcome of CE and occurs mostly in presence of intestinal obstruction. This can be prevented by use of Patency capsule prior to CE examination. Presence of cardiac pacemaker and intracardiac devices continue to be relative contraindications for CE, though data do not suggest interference of CE with these devices. Major limitations of CE today include failure to control its movement from outside, inability of CE to acquire tissue for diagnosis, and lack of therapeutic help. With ongoing interesting and exciting developments taking place in these areas, these issues would be solved in all probability in near future. CE has the potential to become one of the most important tools in diagnostic and possibly in the therapeutic field of gastrointestinal disorder.

Hyaluronic acid as a rescue therapy for trinitrobenzene sulfonica cid-induced colitis through Cox-2 and PGE_2 in a Toll-like receptor 4-dependent way

In the present study,rare earth samarium(Sm^(3+))substituted Ni-Cu spinel ferrites with the composition of Ni_(0.1)Cu_(0.9)Sm_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4)(0≤x≤0.05 in steps of 0.01)were synthesized by using the citrate induced sol-gel auto combustion *** ferrites'structural,optical,magnetic,and dielectric studies were carried out using X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),ultraviolet-visible(UV-vis),a vibrational sample magnetometer(VSM),and an LCR *** pure Ni-Cu ferrite exhibits a tetragonal structure owing to the presence of the John Tellar ion(Cu^(2+)).XRD patterns confirm that the tetragonal structure gradually transforms into the cubic spinel structure with samarium *** nano-scale structures of these ferrites were confirmed by the average crystallite size(10.11-20.99 nm)derived from the X-ray diffraction patterns,and grain size(42.60-83.36 nm)assessed from FESEM *** existence of elements according to their chemical composition was verified by using energy dispersive X-ray(EDX)*** absorption bands(v_(1) and v_(2))detected in FTIR transmission spectra below the wavenumber of 600 cm^(-1)reveal the stretching vibrations of M-O bonds in the spinel structure at tetrahedral and octahedral *** band gap ene rgy obtained from UV absorption reveals the semiconducting nature of the *** high saturation magnetization(M_(s))is noticed at 15 k temperature for x=0.02 composition as 32.98 emu/g,while at 300 k for x=0.01composition as 27.61 emu/*** suggested cation distribution is in good agreement with observed and predicted magnetic moment values at 300 *** expected behavior of ferrites reveals the observed dielectric constant,loss tangent,and ac-conductivity values in the frequency range of 20 Hz-20 ***-Cole plots confirm that the impedance contribution is attributed to grain boundaries.
