The behavior and mechanism of Li leaching from lithium aluminum silicate glass-ceramics which can be used as a secondary source of Li using aqueous NaOH solution was *** Li leaching efficiency is increased with increasing concentration of NaOH, specific surface area, and reaction *** leached under optimum conditions, 2 mol/L NaOH, 53 μm particle undersize, 1:10 solid/liquid ratio, 250 r/min stirring speed, 100℃ reaction temperature, 12 hr, the Li leaching efficiency was approximately 70%.However, when the leaching experiment was performed for 48 hr, the concentration of Li+ ions contained in the leach liquor decreased from 1160 to 236 mg/*** investigate the origin of this phenomenon, the obtained leach residue was analyzed by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray *** analyses show that zeolite was formed around the lithium aluminum silicate glass-ceramics, which affected the leaching of by adsorbing Li+ *** addition, using the shrinking-core model and the Arrhenius equation, the leaching reaction with NaOH was found to depends on the chemical reaction of the two reactants, with a higher than 41.84 kJ/mol of the activation energy.

The Tonian Period witnessed important environmental changes and critical evolutionary innovations. Published iron speciation data suggest a global redox transition of mid-depth seawaters from euxinic to ferruginous in early Tonian, but details of this transition remain unknown. This study explores Tonian stromatolitic carbonates as a possible archive of paleoenvironmental changes, through the investigation of dolomitic limestones and dolostones associated with stromatolites of the Weiji Formation in the Huaibei region of North China. Three types of dolomitization are recognized on the basis of petrographic and geochemical data. Type Ⅰ and Ⅱ dolomitization resulted in dolomitic limestones characterized by LREE depletions, MREE enrichments, positive yttrium anomalies, and a lack of europium anomalies, indicating early diagenetic dolomitization, possibly in the iron reduction zone and under the influence of bottom seawater. The lack of cerium anomalies in these carbonates suggests anoxia in shallow marine environments. The coexistence of ferroan/non-ferroan dolomite crystals and overgrowth bands is interpreted as possible evidence for rapid fluctuations between iron-rich and iron-depleted conditions in pore-waters or seawaters. In contrast, type Ⅲdolomitization resulted in pervasively dolomitized stromatolitic carbonates and likely represents late diagenetic processes. This study highlights the potential of early diagenetic dolomite as an archive for paleoenvironmental investigations.

Precise and early detection ofβ-amyloid(Aβ)deposits in situ and in real time is pivotal to the diagnosis and early intervention of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Optical imaging stands out to be a promising technique for such a task;however,it still remains a big challenge,due to the lack of high-performance imaging contrast *** by poor blood-brain barrier(BBB)penetrability,short-wavelength excitation and emission,as well as the aggregation-caused quenching effect,the widely used goldstandard probes cannot be used for early in-vivo imaging of Aβ***,we integrate the Aβdeposits-favored geometry,amphiphilic and zwitterionic molecular structure,extended D-π-A electronic structure,and 3 D conformation into one molecule,facilely establishing a simple and economic imaging contrast agent that enjoys high specificity and affinity to Aβdeposits,good BBB penetrability,bright red/near-infrared fluorescence,low interference from autofluorescence,aggregation-induced emission(AIE)feature,high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),and high ***-vitro,ex-vivo,and in-vivo experiments with different strains of mice indicate that AIE-CNPy-AD holds the universality to Aβdeposits ***,AIE-CNPy-AD is even able to precisely trace the small and sparsely-distributed Aβdeposits in AD model mice as young as 4-month-old APP/PS1 mice,the youngest having Aβ***,the present probe could clearly reveal the increase and enlargement of Aβdeposits as the mice ***,AIE-CNPy-AD might be an ideal alternative for early AD diagnosis and highly reliable monitoring of AD progression.

Flexible wearable batteries are widely used in smartwatches, foldable phones, and fitness trackers due to their thinness and small size. Zinc-based batteries have the advantages of low cost, high safety, and ecofriendliness, which are considered to be the best alternative to flexible lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).Therefore, wearable flexible zinc-ion batteries(FZIBs) have attracted considerable interest as a promising energy storage device. Electrospun nanofibers(ESNFs) have great potential for application in wearable FZIBs due to their low density, high porosity, large specific surface area, and flexibility. Moreover, electrospinning technology can achieve the versatility of nanofibers through structural design and incorporation of other multifunctional materials. This paper reviews a wide range of applications of electrospinning in FZIBs, mainly in terms of cathode, anode, separator, polymer electrolyte, and all-inone flexible batteries. Firstly, the electrospinning device, principles, and influencing parameters are briefly described, showing its positive impact on FZIBs. Subsequently, the energy storage principles and electrode configurations of FZIBs are described, and some of the common problems of the batteries are illustrated, including zinc anode dendrite growth, corrosion, cathode structure collapse, and poor electrical conductivity. This is followed by a comprehensive overview of research progress on the individual components of FZIBs(cathode, anode, separator, and polymer electrolyte) from the perspective of electrostatically spun fiber materials and an in-depth study of all-in-one flexible batteries. Finally, the challenges and future development of FZIBs are individually concluded and look forward. We hope that this work will provide new ideas and avenues for the development of advanced energy technologies and smart wearable systems.

In this paper,a coupled level set and volume of fluid,immersed boundary(CLSVOF/IB)method is proposed and implemented into the interFoam solver of the OpenFOAM to simulate the gas-liquid two-phase flows,involving the gas-liquid and fluid-structure *** the volume of fluid(VOF)method,the multidimensional universal limiter with explicit solution(MULES)approach is used to restrain the volume *** approach for calculating the grid characteristic size for the level set(LS)initial function and the re-initialization equation is proposed in order to make it more applicable to non-uniform grids in the finite volume *** the proposed CLSVOF method,the continuous LS function is used to calculate the gas-liquid interface curvature so that the surface tension term can be calculated *** the immersed boundary(IB)method proposed in this paper,a virtual forcing term is introduced in the momentum equation to deal with the fluid-structure interface by defining a solid volume fraction,which is convenient for the three-dimensional numerical *** the present flow field solver,an improved scheme of the velocity predictor loop of the PIMPLE framework is also *** benchmark cases:the Zalesak’s notched disk and a circular bubble at equilibrium,are simulated first to examine the accuracy of the present CLSVOF ***,the effects of several gas-liquid two-phase flows on different fixed structures are *** simulation results are in good agreement with the published numerical and experimental results.

The common design of serial civil aircraft, an important strategy of modern civil aircraft research and develop-ment, minimizes the whole life cycle cost of civil aircraft through asset reuse and resource sharing. However, the existing estimating model for the R&D cost of civil aircraft ignores the effects of common design, so the value estimated by estimating derivative models is significantly inconsistent with the actual one. To solve this problem, a novel assessment method for civil aircraft commonality indicators is developed based on fuzzy set in the present study, exploiting the attributes and structural parameters of the aircraft to be assessed as input to determine the degree of membership that pertains to the commonality sub-interval as the commonality *** the BP(Back Propagation) neural network algorithm is adopted to establish the relationship between the common index and the decrease rate of the R&D cost of derivative models. The model employs over a dozen typical civil aircraft models(e.g., Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier) as the sample data for network learning training to build a mature neural network model for estimating the R&D cost of novel derivative models. As revealed from the comparative analysis on the calculated results of the samples, the estimated results of the model given the effects of commonality in the present study exhibit higher estimation accuracy and value for future work.

Functional testing is key to fulfill quality control in laptop manufacturing and is of great economic ***,due to the unavailability of practical data,mathematical model and systematic perspective,it has barely been touched from the academic community to *** the first time,this work provides technical understanding of the key principles of functional testing,mathematically models the general framework,elucidates existing testing strategy under the proposed framework and model,and finally proposes a specified optimization strategy which outperforms existing *** work lays the model foundation for the further optimization of functional testing,and can be regarded as a good example of how a systematic approach can solve practical industrial challenges.

The application of a closed-loop specification oriented feedback control design method, which addresses the design of controllers to satisfy multiple simultaneous conflicting closed-loop performance specifications is presented. The proposed approach is well suited to the design of controllers which must meet a set of conflicting performance specifications. Gain tuning is central to the design process, however, the tuning process is greatly simplified over that presented by the problem of tuning a PID controller for example. The proposed control method is applied to an AC induction motor, with an inner-loop flux vector controller applied to design a position control system. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of this method.

We report a wire-shaped three-dimensional(3D)-hybrid supercapacitor with high volumetric capacitance and high energy density due to an interconnected 3D-configuration of the electrode allowing for large number of electrochemical active sites,easy access of electrolyte ions,and facile charge transport for flexible wearable *** interconnected and compact electrode delivers a high volumetric capacitance(gravimetric capacitance)of 73 F cm−3(2446 F g−1),excellent rate capability,and cycle *** 3D-nickel cobalt-layered double hydroxide onto 3D-nickel wire(NiCo LDH/3D-Ni)//the 3D-manganese oxide onto 3D-nickel wire(Mn3O4/3D-Ni)hybrid supercapacitor exhibits energy density of 153.3 Wh kg−1 and power density of 8810 W kg−*** red lightemitting diode powered by the as-prepared hybrid supercapacitor can operate for 80 min after being charged for tens of seconds and exhibit excellent electrochemical stability under various deformation *** results verify that such wire-shaped 3D-hybrid supercapacitors are promising alternatives for batteries with long charge–discharge times,for smart wearable and implantable devices.
