Wideband Millimeter Wave Antenna with Cavity Backed Slotted Patch and Magneto-Electric Dipole

This paper proposes a wideband cavity-backed slotted patch antenna, loaded with a magneto-electric（ME）-dipole and fed by a microstrip line, for millimeter wave（mm-Wave） applications. The coupled-feed cavitybacked slotted patch antenna is loaded with the ME-dipole. The slotted patch antenna serves as both a radiator and a ground for the ME-dipole. The combination of the ME-dipole antenna and the slotted patch antenna realizes a –10 dB impedance bandwidth covering over 22.86–44.35 GHz（63.9%）. The pattern of the antenna element remains stable throughout this bandwidth. The proposed broadband antenna unit not only realizes single linearly polarized（LP）radiation but also can be designed for dual-LP radiation. The dual-polarized radiation can be achieved by changing the slot of the patch antenna to a crossed slot and altering the ME-dipole antenna to a dual-polarization form. A 2 × 2 dual-polarized array has been designed, fabricated, and tested. A novel dual-polarized feeding network is *** achieve higher isolation, broadband in-phase feed and differential feed are adopted, respectively. A low-loss single to the differential structure is proposed for differential feeding. The simulated isolation of the array is higher than 40 d *** results show that the dual-polarized 2 × 2 array has an overlapping bandwidth of 52.3%(|S11| < –10 dB and |S21| < –30 dB) with a peak gain of 14 dBi. The proposed antenna, featuring a wide overall bandwidth, low cost,and good radiation performance, is well suited for mm-Wave applications.

Investigation on the vortical structures by the Liutex method in turbulent channels at Re_(τ)=180 with scalloped and triangular riblet control

Field-based evidence for the enrichment of intrinsic antibiotic resistome stimulated by plant-derived fertilizer in agricultural soil

Animal manures have been demonstrated to enhance antibiotic resistance in agricultural ***,little is known about the effects of plant-derived fertilizer on soil antibiotic ***,metagenomic sequencing was used to investigate the effects of a plantderived fertilizer processed from sugarcane and beet on soil antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)in a soybean field along crop growth *** profiles in the soils amended by plant-derived fertilizer were compared with those in the soils amended by chicken *** abundance and diversity of total ARGs in the soils amended by plant-derived fertilizer were significantly(P<0.05)elevated at the sprout stage,to a level comparable to that in the manured ***,unlike chicken manure mainly introducing manure-borne ARGs to soil,the plant-derived fertilizer was indicated to mainly enrich multidrug resistance genes in soil by nourishing indigenous *** with abundances in amended soils significantly(P<0.05)higher than in unamended soils at the sprout stage of soybean were considered as enriched *** in the abundance of the enriched ARGs was observed in both the amended soils from the sprout to the *** analysis further identified Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes as the primary bacterial taxa involved in the temporal variation of the enriched ARGs in the soils amended by plant-derived fertilizer,while in manured soils were Firmicutes and *** revealed by multivariate statistical analyses,variation of the enriched ARGs in the soils amended by plant-derived fertilizer was majorly attributed to the response of co-occurred bacteria to depleting nutrients,which was different from the failed establishment of manure-borne bacteria in the manured *** study provided field-based evidence that plant-derived fertilizer stimulated the intrinsic antibiotic resistome,and proposed attention to the un-perceived risk since some clinically relevant ARGs originate and evolve fr

In this paper,numerical experiments are carried out to investigate the impact of penalty parameters in the numerical traces on the resonance errors of high-order multiscale discontinuous Galerkin(DG)methods(dong et *** J Sci Comput 66:321–345,2016;dong and Wang in J Comput Appl Math 380:1–11,2020)for a one-dimensional stationary Schrödinger *** work showed that penalty parameters were required to be positive in error analysis,but the methods with zero penalty parameters worked fine in numerical simulations on coarse *** this work,by performing extensive numerical experiments,we discover that zero penalty parameters lead to resonance errors in the multiscale DG methods,and taking positive penalty parameters can effectively reduce resonance errors and make the matrix in the global linear system have better condition numbers.

Image encryption algorithm based on multiple chaotic systems and improved Joseph block scrambling

With the rapid development of digital information technology,images are increasingly used in various *** ensure the security of image data,prevent unauthorized tampering and leakage,maintain personal privacy,and protect intellectual property rights,this study proposes an innovative color image encryption ***,the Mersenne Twister algorithm is utilized to generate high-quality pseudo-random numbers,establishing a robust basis for subsequent ***,two distinct chaotic systems,the autonomous non-Hamiltonian chaotic system and the tentlogistic-cosine chaotic mapping,are employed to produce chaotic random *** chaotic sequences are used to control the encoding and decoding process of the DNA,effectively scrambling the image ***,the complexity of the encryption process is enhanced through improved Joseph block *** experimental verification,research,and analysis,the average value of the information entropy test data reaches as high as ***,the average value of the number of pixels change rate(NPCR)test data is 99.6101%,which closely approaches the ideal value of 99.6094%.This algorithm not only guarantees image quality but also substantially raises the difficulty of decryption.

BACKGROUND Pedicled abdominal flaps are a widely used surgical technique for forearm reconstruction in patients with soft tissue ***,some drawbacks include restricted flap size,partial flap loss,and donor-site *** address these concerns,we present a case of a pedicled abdominal flap using the deep inferior epigastric artery perforators(DIEP)for forearm reconstruction in a patient with a large soft tissue *** SUMMARY A 46-year-old male patient was admitted to our hospital with forearm injury caused by a pressing machine.A 15 cm×10 cm soft tissue defect with complete rupture of the ulnar side structures of the forearm was *** week after orthopedic management of the neurovascular injury and fractures using the first stage of Masquelet technique,the patient was referred to the plastic and recon-structive surgery department for wound *** debridement and negative-pressure wound therapy revealed a 20 cm×15 cm soft tissue defect.A pedicle abdominal flap with the DIEP was used to cover the *** weeks later,the flap was detached from the abdomen,and the abdominal defect was directly ***,the second stage of Masquelet technique was performed at the fracture site at week ***,all donor and recipient sites healed without complications,such as flap dehiscence,infection,hematoma,or *** site osteosynthesis was achieved without *** Pedicled abdominal flap using the DIEP provides a reliable option for forearm reconstruction in patients with large soft tissue defects.

High-Efficiency Wideband Transmitarray Antenna Using Polarization-Rotating Elements with Parasitic Stubs

A high-efficiency polarization-rotating transmitarray antenna(TA) using wideband elements is proposed for millimeter-wave applications. The polarization-rotating element consists of three metallic layers and two substrates. Orthogonal polarizers are employed on the top and bottom of the element. And the split ring with a parasitic stub on the middle layer is symmetric about the diagonal, performing the polarization rotation and phase compensation simultaneously. A parasitic stub is designed to decrease transmission loss and broaden the bandwidth. The periodicity of the element is only 1/4 wavelength at 30 GHz. A prototype TA with 28 × 28 elements is designed, fabricated, and measured. The measured peak gain reaches 27.5 d Bi at 37.8 GHz. The 1-d B gain drop bandwidth is 30.8–40 GHz(26.0%).The aperture efficiency reaches as high as 71% at 31.5 GHz. Within the bandwidth of 26.5–38.8 GHz(37.7%), the aperture efficiency is higher than 50%. The proposed polarization-rotating TA features wide bandwidth and high efficiency, demonstrating great application potential for 5G millimeter-wave communication.
