Evenness is important in assessing progress towards sustainable development goals

Sustainable development goals(SDGs) emphasize a holistic achievement instead of cherry-picking a ***, no assessment has quantitatively considered the evenness among all 17 goals. Here, we propose a systematic method, which first integrates both the evenness and the overall status of all goals, to distinguish the ideal development pathways from the uneven ones and then revisit the development trajectory in China from 2000 to 2015. Our results suggest that, despite the remarkable progress, a bottleneck has occurred in China since 2013 due to the stagnant developments in some SDGs. However, many far-reaching policies in China have been targeting these deficiencies since then, providing a perspective on how a country approaches sustainable development by promoting evenness among all SDGs. Our results also indicate that regions with the slowest progress are the developed provinces, owing to the persistent uneven status of all goals. Our study demonstrates the importance of adopting evenness in assessing and guiding sustainable development.

On a narrow warship platform,the coordinated use of shipborne weapon systems may cause firepower conflicts,which seriously endangers the ship ***,with directed-energy weapons mounted on ships,firepower conflicts between weapons become a“high probability event”.Aiming at the problem of firepower safety control,based on the research about the collision probability model of air crafts and space targets and according to the cone of fire model of conventional weapons and directed-energy weapons,this paper solved the firepower conflict probabilities between conventional weapons as well as between conventional weapons and directed-energy weapons respectively using the methods of probability theory,and established the firepower safety control *** the calculation of firepower conflict probability was carried out using the dimensionality reduction method based on the equivalent conversion of polar coordinates and the power series method based on Laplace *** simulation results revealed that the proposed model and calculation methods are effective and reliable,which can provide theoretical basis and technical support for resolution of firepower conflicts between weapons.

The minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model(MSSM)is extended to the U(1)XSSM,whose local gauge group is SU(3)C×SU(2)L×U(1)Y×U(1)*** obtain the U(1)XSSM,we add new superfields to the MSSM,namely,three Higgs singletsηη,S and right-handed neutrinosν*** charge conjugate and parity(CP)violating effects are considered to study the lepton electric dipole moment(EDM)in the U(1)*** are more CP violating phases in the U(1)XSSM than in the standard model(SM).In this model,several new parameters(θS,θBB′,θBL)are considered as CP violating phases;hence,there are new contributions to lepton *** is conducive to exploring the source of CP violation and probing new physics beyond the SM.

为了有效提高实景三维模型反映各类型地理要素的准确度和精细度以充分支撑实景三维中国建设工作,首先将当前无人机倾斜摄影三维重建后的三维模型中存在的模型缺陷系统性分为四大类型,并分析其产生的原因。随后,针对性地提出了三种关键技术:一是基于连通性和欧氏距离聚类的交互式悬浮物去除,利用图割理论和随机一致性抽样算法识别和删除悬浮物;二是基于图割理论的水面半自动整平,在利用Grabcut算法提取水面区域的同时为其赋予统一高程以实现水面的平整;三是基于深度网络模型的水体纹理inpainting填充,利用卷积神经网络和深度对抗训练以获得水体纹理的特征和结构从而实现水体缺失纹理的修复。最后,利用湖北省宜昌市的实际生产数据进行了修复实验,实验结果表明本文提出的各项关键技术能够有效修复三维模型缺陷,从而使实景三维模型具备更精细的地理实体和地理景观还原度。

Enhanced comprehensive properties of stereolithography 3D printed alumina ceramic cores with high porosities by a powder gradation design

Ceramic cores with complex structures and optimized properties are critical for hollow turbine blades applied in *** to traditional methods,additive manufacturing(AM)presents great advantages in forming complex ceramic cores,but how to balance the porosity and strength is an enormous *** this work,alumina ceramic cores with high porosity,moderate strength,and low high-temperature deflection were prepared using stereolithography(SLA)3D printing by a novel powder gradation design *** contradiction between porosity and flexural strength is well adjusted when the mass ratio of the coarse,medium,and fine particles is 2:1:1 and the sintering temperature is 1600℃.The fracture mode of coarse particles in sintered SLA 3D printing ceramic transforms from intergranular fracture to transgranular fracture with the increase of sintering temperature and the proportion of fine powders in powder *** sintered porosity has a greater influence on the high-temperature deflection of SLA 3D printed ceramic cores than grain *** this basis,a"non-skeleton"microstructure model of SLA 3D printed alumina ceramic cores is created to explain the relationship between the sintering process and *** a result,high porosity(36.4%),appropriate strength(50.1 MPa),and low high-temperature deflection(2.27 mm)were achieved by optimizing particle size gradation and sintering process,which provides an insight into the important enhancement of the comprehensive properties of SLA 3D printed ceramic cores.

Alcohol consumption and fatty liver disease

Hamaguchi et al recently reported some interesting observations on alcohol consumption and risk of fatty liver disease from a large population. However, we feel that it might be necessary to discuss some concerns in this study. As the alcohol consumption categorization was defined by the same criteria in both men and women, which might affect their results. As another factor is soft drinks consumption. It has been proved that soft drinks, especially fructose, contributes to the development of obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. However, this confounding factor was not adjusted or discussed in this article. The third is the genetic background, for some genetic factors are related with the development of fatty liver disease, which was also not considered yet.

Metal halide perovskites are emerging as new generation optoelectronic materials due to their high carrier mobility, long carrier diffusion length and large light absorption coefficient, which have broad applications in solar cell, light-emitting diode, laser, photodetector and transistors. Perovskite single crystal is an ideal platform for discerning the intrinsic properties of these materials. In some cases, perovskite single crystals are better candidates to gain high performance optoelectronics. However, the growth of perovskite single crystals is time and cost consuming, which has an obvious disadvantage for device exploration. Therefore, fast growth technique is highly desirable in not only promoting the use of perovskites in commercial applications but also facilitating deep physical investigation of the materials. In this review, we summarize thoroughly the development of fast growth of the halide perovskites single crystal. Specifically, we highlight the progress of rapid growth techniques with emphasis on the optimization control.

High-capacity porous carbons prepared by KOH activation of activated carbon for supercapacitors

High-performance supercapacitor electrode materials are prepared from the commercially available activated carbon （AC） through a facile and low-cost chemical activation method. The obtained results show that AC activated by KOH with an alkali/carbon ratio of 6/1 （ACK6） possesses a specific surface area of 3405 m^2/g, a large pore volume of 2.01 cm^3/g, and exhibits the highest initial specific capacitance of 335 F/g at the current density of 0.5 A/g in 6 mol/L KOH, and 85% coloumbic efficiency for 5000 cycles at 20 mV/s.
