The differential potentiometric stripping analysis (DPSA) with Nafion coated carbon fibre electrode has been studied, and a method to determine lead and cadmium in urine directly has been attempted. The effect of various experimental parameters on the DPSA response is discussed. The experimental conditions include 0.2M sodium perchlorate, deposition potential of-1.0 or -1.1 V and using 20 ppm mercuric ion as oxidizing agent. The response of the signal is in linear relation with the concentrations of lead and cadmium respectively up to 0.5 ppm. The electrode coated with Nafion film alleviates the interference from organics in urine samples.

Cells are the fundamental units of biological systems and exhibit unique development trajectories and molecular features. Our exploration of how the genomes orchestrate the formation and maintenance of each cell, and control the cellular phenotypes of various organismsis, is both captivating and intricate. Since the inception of the first single-cell RNA technology, technologies related to single-cell sequencing have experienced rapid advancements in recent years. These technologies have expanded horizontally to include single-cell genome, epigenome,proteome, and metabolome, while vertically, they have progressed to integrate multiple omics data and incorporate additional information such as spatial sc RNA-seq and CRISPR screening. Single-cell omics represent a groundbreaking advancement in the biomedical field,offering profound insights into the understanding of complex diseases, including cancers. Here, we comprehensively summarize recent advances in single-cell omics technologies, with a specific focus on the methodology section. This overview aims to guide researchers in selecting appropriate methods for single-cell sequencing and related data analysis.

Proton exchange membrane fuel cells （PEMFCs） provide an appealing sustainable energy system,with the solid-electrolyte membrane playing a crucial role in its overall ***,sulfonated poly（1,4-phenylene ether-ether sulfone）(SPEES),an aromatic hydrocarbon polymer,has garnered considerable attention as an alternative to Nafion ***,the long-term durability and stability of SPEES present a significant *** this context,we introduce a potential solution in the form of an additive,specifically a core–shell-based amine-functionalized iron titanate （A–Fe2TiO5）,which holds promise for improving the lifetime,proton conductivity,and power density of SPEES in *** modified SPEES/A–Fe2TiO5composite membranes exhibited notable characteristics,including high water uptake,enhanced thermomechanical stability,and oxidative ***,the SPEES membrane loaded with 1.2 wt%of A–Fe2TiO5demonstrates a maximum proton conductivity of 155 mS cm-1,a twofold increase compared to the SPEES membrane,at 80°C under 100%relative humidity （RH）.Furthermore,the 1.2 wt%of A–Fe2TiO5/SPEES composite membranes exhibited a maximum power density of 397.37 mW cm-2and a current density of 1148 mA cm-2at 60°C under 100%RH,with an opencircuit voltage decay of 0.05 m V/h during 103 h of continuous *** study offers significant insights into the development and understanding of innovative SPEES nanocomposite membranes for PEMFC applications.

With the continuous increase in the disposal volume of spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),properly recycling spent LIBs has become essential for the advancement of the circular *** study presents a systematic analysis of the chlorination roasting kinetics and proposes a new two-step chlorination roasting process that integrates thermodynamics for the recycling of LIB cathode *** activation energy for the chloride reaction was 88.41 kJ/mol according to thermogravimetric analysis–derivative thermogravimetry data obtained by using model-free,model-fitting,and Z(α)function(αis conversion rate).Results indicated that the reaction was dominated by the first-order(F1)model when the conversion rate was less than or equal to 0.5 and shifted to the second-order(F2)model when the conversion rate exceeded *** conditions were determined by thoroughly investigating the effects of roasting temperature,roasting time,and the mass ratio of NH_(4)Cl to LiCoO_(2).Under the optimal conditions,namely 400℃,20 min,and NH_(4)Cl/LiCoO_(2)mass ratio of 3:1,the leaching efficiency of Li and Co reached 99.43% and 99.05%,*** of the roasted products revealed that valuable metals in LiCoO_(2)transformed into CoCl_(2) and ***,the reaction mechanism was elucidated,providing insights for the establishment of a novel low-temperature chlorination roasting technology based on a crystal structure *** technology can guide the development of LIB recycling processes with low energy consumption,low secondary pollution,high recovery efficiency,and high added value.

The sandwich-structured flexible mechanoluminescent sensor (SFLC) film shows great application potential as wireless wearable strain sensor and encryption ***-level integration of SFLC film with deep learning-based artificial intelligence enables fast and accurate interpretation of color data to strain values with automatic correction of errors caused by varying color *** smart glove wearable sensor based on the SFLC film combined with deep learning neural network enables fast and accurate hand gesture recognition. The complex wiring, bulky data collection devices, and difficulty in fast and on-site data interpretation significantly limit the practical application of flexible strain sensors as wearable devices. To tackle these challenges, this work develops an artificial intelligence-assisted, wireless, flexible, and wearable mechanoluminescent strain sensor system (AIFWMLS) by integration of deep learning neural network-based color data processing system (CDPS) with a sandwich-structured flexible mechanoluminescent sensor (SFLC) film. The SFLC film shows remarkable and robust mechanoluminescent performance with a simple structure for easy fabrication. The CDPS system can rapidly and accurately extract and interpret the color of the SFLC film to strain values with auto-correction of errors caused by the varying color temperature, which significantly improves the accuracy of the predicted strain. A smart glove mechanoluminescent sensor system demonstrates the great potential of the AIFWMLS system in human gesture recognition. Moreover, the versatile SFLC film can also serve as a encryption device. The integration of deep learning neural network-based artificial intelligence and SFLC film provides a promising strategy to break the "color to strain value" bottleneck that hinders the practical application of flexible colorimetric strain sensors, which could promote the development of wearable and flexible strain sensors from laboratory research to

Transition metal-carbonate interfaces often act as active sites in heterogeneous catalytic *** interface between transition metal and metal carbonate exhibits a dynamic equilibrium during the CO2hydrogenation reaction,involving surface carbonate hydrogenation and ***,there have been few reports on engineering the activity of the interface between transition metal and alkaline earth metal carbonate for catalytic *** work demonstrated that the incorporation of CaH2in Ni/CaCO3enhances the CO2methanation activity of the *** CO2conversion for Ni/CaH2-CaCO3reached 68.5%at 400°C,which was much higher than that of the Ni/CaCO3（31.6%） and Ni/CaH2-CaO （42.4%） ***,the Ni/CaH2-CaCO3catalysts remained stable during the stability test for 24 h at 400°C and 8 *** research revealed that CaH2played a crucial role in promoting the activity of the Ni-carbonate interface for ***2could modify the electronic structure of Ni and tune the structural properties of CaCO3to generate medium basic sites （OH groups）,which are favorable for the activation of H2and ***-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FTIR） analysis combined with density functional theory calculations demonstrated that CO2activation occurs at the hydroxyl group （OH） on the CaH2-modified Ni-carbonate surface,leading to the formation of CO3H****,our study has confirmed that CO2methanation over the Ni/CaH2-CaCO3catalysts proceeds via the formate pathway.

Multistage heat treatment involving quenching(Q),lamellarizing(L),and tempering(T)is applied to marine 10Ni5CrMoV *** microstructure and mechanical properties were studied by multiscale characterizations,and the kinetics of reverse austenite transformation,strain hardening behavior,and toughening mechanism were further *** lamellarized specimens possess low yield strength but high toughness,especially cryogenic *** leads to the development of film-like reversed austenite at the martensite block and lath boundaries,refining the martensite structure and lowering the equivalent grain *** analysis of austenite reversion based on the JMAK model shows that the isothermal transformation is dominated by the growth of reversed austenite,and the maximum transformation of reversed austenite is reached at the peak temperature(750℃).The strain hardening behavior based on the modified Crussard-Jaoul analysis indicates that the reversed austenite obtained from lamellarization reduces the proportion of martensite,significantly hindering crack propagation via martensitic transformation during the *** a consequence,the QLT specimens exhibit high machinability and low yield *** with the QT specimen,the ductile-brittle transition temperature of the QLT specimens decreases from-116 to-130℃due to the low equivalent grain size and reversed austenite,which increases the cleavage force required for crack propagation and absorbs the energy of external load,*** work provides an idea to improve the cryogenic toughness of marine 10Ni5CrMoV steel and lays a theoretical foundation for its industrial application and comprehensive performance improvement.
