Propagating characteristics of waves on a thin layer of mud

The propagating characteristics of the water and muddy waves are one of the concerns of theoretical studies because of the following facts:(1)With the development of the economy in the estuaries,local residents and government paid increasing attention to the ecological environment of the estuarine beaches The propagating characteristics of the water and muddy waves are closely related to the ecological environment,the concern of the government and the residents.(2)The propagating characteristics of the mud are the bottleneck of the study of the coastal and beach dynamics because of the complicated constitutive relation of the *** different constitutive models may lead to different explanations of its ***,the proper selection of the model is one of the keys to reveal the true kinematic properties of the mud in the *** paper first establishes a power law model of the constitutive relation of the *** on this model,a gravity wave theory is *** to the mechanism of the mud wave transportation,the coupled mud-water wave field can be divided into two *** upper layer is described as the viscous Newtonian fluid,whereas the lower high-concentration mud layer is described as the power law ***,the equations of the proposed model are discretized and the calculations are made by using the difference ***,the propagating characteristics are discussed,and the dispersion relations of the water and mud waves are analyzed in detail.

Application of an amphipathic molecule at the NiO_(x)/perovskite interface for improving the efficiency and long-term stability of the inverted perovskite solar cells

The presence of defects and detrimental reactions at NiO_(x)/perovskite interface extremely limit the efficiency performance and long-term stability of the perovskite solar cells(PSCs) based on NiO_(x).Herein,an amphipathic molecule Triton X100(Triton) is modified on the NiO_(x)*** hydrophilic chain of Triton as a Lewis base additive can coordinate with the Ni3+on the NiO_(x)surface which can passivate the interfacial defects and hinder the detrimental reactions at the NiO_(x)/perovskite ***,the hydrophobic chain of Triton protrudes from the NiO_(x)surface to prevent moisture from penetrating into the NiO_(x)/perovskite ***,the NiO_(x)/Triton-based devices(MAPbI3as absorbing layer) show superior moisture and thermal stability,retaining 88.4% and 64.3% of the initial power conversion efficiency after storage in air(40%-50% relative humidity(RH)) at 25 ℃ for 1070 h and in N2at 85℃ for 800 h,***,the efficiency increases from 17.59% to 19.89% because of the passivation defect and enhanced hole-extraction ***,the NiO_(x)/Triton-based PSCs with Cs_(0.05)(MA_(0.15)FA_(0.85))_(0.95)Pb(I_(0.85)Br_(0.15))3perovskite as the light-absorbing layer also exhibits better moisture and thermal stability compared to the control devices,indicating the viability of our *** particular note,a champion PCE of 22.35% and 20.46% was achieved for small-area(0.1 cm^(2)) and large-area(1.2 cm^(2)) NiO_(x)/Triton-based devices,respectively.

Intracellular effects of prodrug-like wortmannin probes

Wortmannin, a known inhibitor of phosphoinositide 3-kinases(PI3 Ks), their low selectivity and high toxicity is still problematic and less is known about their effects on PI3 Ks in cellular systems. Hence, we have synthesized a series of multifunctional wortmannin probes with the ability to self-activate, by installing a clickable handle at C11 site, and secondary amine and cancer-targeting moiety at C20 site respectively. MTT assay first confirmed that self-activating probes have better inhibition potency and biotin enhanced their cancer cell uptake. Further experiments showed most of probes can target PI3 K/Akt/mTOR pathway with prolonged turn-over time. Protein profiling and pull-down results were observed that the derivatives not only labelled four PI3 Ks with selectivity, but also engaged in covalent interactions with numerous cellular proteins which could be the major reason of their high toxicity.

Application of constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment in tropical and subtropical regions(2000–2013)

Constructed wetlands（CWs） have been successfully used for treating various wastewaters for decades and have been identified as a sustainable wastewater management option for developing countries. With the goal of promoting sustainable engineered systems that support human well-being but are also compatible with sustaining natural（environmental）systems, the application of CWs has become more relevant. Such application is especially significant for developing countries with tropical climates, which are very conducive to higher biological activity and productivity, resulting in higher treatment efficiencies compared to those in temperate climates. This paper therefore highlights the practice,applications, and research of treatment wetlands under tropical and subtropical conditions since 2000. In the present review, removal of biochemical oxygen demand（BOD） and total suspended solid（TSS） was shown to be very efficient and consistent across all types of treatment wetlands. Hybrid systems appeared more efficient in the removal of total suspended solid（TSS）（91.3%）, chemical oxygen demand（COD）（84.3%）, and nitrogen（i.e.,80.7% for ammonium（NH）4-N, 80.8% for nitrate（NO）3-N, and 75.4% for total nitrogen（TN））as compared to other wetland systems. Vertical subsurface flow（VSSF） CWs removed TSS（84.9%）, BOD（87.6%）, and nitrogen（i.e., 66.2% for NH4-N, 73.3% for NO3-N, and 53.3% for TN）more efficiently than horizontal subsurface flow（HSSF） CWs, while HSSF CWs（69.8%）showed better total phosphorus（TP） removal compared to VSSF CWs（60.1%）. Floating treatment wetlands（FTWs） showed comparable removal efficiencies for BOD（70.7%）,NH4-N（63.6%）, and TP（44.8%） to free water surface（FWS） CW systems.

High-Performance and Large-Area Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells Based on NiO_(x) Films Enabled with A Novel Microstructure-Control Technology

The improvement in the efficiency of inverted perovskite solar cells(PSCs)is significantly limited by undesirable contact at the NiO_(x)/perovskite *** this study,a novel microstructure-control technology is proposed for fabrication of porous NiO_(x)films using Pluronic P123 as the structure-directing agent and acetylacetone(AcAc)as the coordination *** synthesized porous NiO_(x)films enhanced the hole extraction efficiency and reduced recombination defects at the NiO_(x)/perovskite ***,without any modification,the power conversion efficiency(PCE)of the PSC with MAPbl_(3)as the absorber layer improved from 16.50%to 19.08%.Moreover,the PCE of the device composed of perovskite Cs0.05(MA_(0.15)FA_(0.85))_(0.95)Pb(I_(0.85)Br_(0.15))_(3)improved from 17.49%to 21.42%.Furthermore,the application of the fabricated porous NiO_(x)on fluorine-doped tin oxide(FTO)substrates enabled the fabrication of large-area PSCs(1.2 cm^(2))with a PCE of 19.63%.This study provides a novel strategy for improving the contact at the NiO_(x)/perovskite interface for the fabrication of high-performance large-area perovskite solar cells.

Stomach pain in Chinese medicine（CM） is a very common disorder in clinical practice and it has been listed as one of the pilot three conditions in Hong Kong to develop evidence-based CM clinical practice guidelines（CM CPGs）. The aim of this stomach Pain CPG is to summarize the treatment methods of stomach pain with CM and evaluate reasonably, then to guide local licensed CM practitioners and provide beneficial reference for social medical decision makers and patients. In this manuscript, we defined stomach pain in CM and the category of chronic gastritis in Western medicine. The clinical manifestation, CM pattern classification, and CM intervention including herbal medicine treatment based on pattern differentiation, symptomatic treatment, acupuncture treatment, regulation and nursing were illustrated.

Grain boundaries in organic-inorganic halide perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have been found to be detrimental to the photovoltaic performance of ***,we develop a unique approach to overcome this problem by modifying the edges of perovskite grain boundaries with flakes of high-mobility two-dimensional(2D)materials via a convenient solution process.A synergistic effect between the 2D flakes and perovskite grain boundaries is observed for the first time,which can significantly enhance the performance of *** find that the 2D flakes can conduct holes from the grain boundaries to the hole transport layers in PSCs,thereby making hole channels in the grain boundaries of the ***,2D flakes with high carrier mobilities and short distances to grain boundaries can induce a more pronounced performance enhancement of the *** work presents a cost-effective strategy for improving the performance of PSCs by using high-mobility 2D materials.

PHASE BOUNDARY OF α_2 PRECIPITATION IN Ti-Al-La TERNARY SYSTEM

The phase boundary,of α_2 precipitation at 600℃ in Ti-AI-La ternary system has been de- termined by TEM examination,which shows three kinds of phase regions,namely the single α phase region,the transitional phase region where there is superlattice reflection but no α_2 precipitation,and the α+α_2 region.A point of maximum aluminium content was found to exist on the α/(α+α_2)boundary and the track of the boundary was explained in terms of the internal oxidation of lanthanum and the electron concentration rule for α_2 formation.

Severe endometrium damage causes pathological conditions such as thin endometrium and intrauterine adhesion,resulting in uterine factor *** stem cell(MSC)therapy is a promising strategy in endometrial repair;yet,exogenous MSCs still raise concerns for safety and ethical *** adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells(ADMSCs)residing in adipose tissue have high translational potentials due to their autologous *** harness the high translation potentials of ADMSC in clinical endometrium regeneration,here we constructed an ADMSCs composited porous scaffold(CS/ADMSC)and evaluated its effectiveness on endometrial regeneration in a rat endometrium-injury *** found that CS/ADMSC intrauterine implantation(i)promoted endometrial thickness and gland number,(ii)enhanced tissue angiogenesis,(iii)reduced fibrosis and(iv)restored *** ascertained the pro-proliferation,pro-angiogenesis,immunomodulating and anti-fibrotic effects of CS/ADMSC in vitro and revealed that the CS/ADMSC influenced extracellular matrix composition and organization by a transcriptomic *** results demonstrated the effectiveness of CS/ADMSC for endometrial regeneration and provided solid proof for our future clinical study.
