The work investigates influence of the electrolyte conductivity on the onset of partial contact glow discharge electrolysis(CGDE)in a water *** current density(CCD)and breakdown voltage were measured together with in situ observation of hydrogen bubble behavior,whose influence has not been focused *** a fixed current during normal electrolysis,hydrogen coalescence adjacent to cathode surface was invigorated at a lower *** analyses elucidated the hydrogen coalescence characteristics by quantifying size and population of detached hydrogen *** CCD increased about 104% within given range of conductivity(11.50-127.48 mS·cm^(-1))due to impaired bubble coalescence,which delays hydrogen film formation on the ***,decreasing trend of breakdown voltage was measured with increased conductivity showing maximum drop of 74%.It is concluded that onset of partial CGDE is directly affected by hydrodynamic bubble behaviors,whereas the electrolyte conductivity affects the bubble formation characteristics adjacent to cathode electrode.

Black soybeans [Glycine max（L.） Merrill] were fermented with various GRAS（generally recognized as safe） microorganisms,including Aspergillus sp.,Bacillus *** yeast（Issatchenkia orientalis） at 30°C for 3 *** antioxidant contents,including total phenolics and total flavonoids,and the antioxidant activities of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazine（DPPH）,ferric reducing antioxidant power（FRAP） and *** were analyzed in preparations of fermented black *** cultures proved to yield significant levels of antioxidants compared with non-fermented cultures（P 〈 0.05）.Fermented black soybean preparations possessed antioxidant activities could be attributed to the total phenolics and flavonoids present.

Since the first report of amorphous In–Ga–Zn–O based thin film transistors,interest in oxide semiconductors has *** offer high mobility,low off-current,low process temperature,and wide flexibility for compositions and ***,depositing oxide semiconductors using conventional processes like physical vapor deposition leads to problematic issues,especially for high-resolution displays and highly integrated memory *** approaches have limited process flexibility and poor conformality on structured *** layer deposition(ALD)is an advanced technique which can provide conformal,thickness-controlled,and high-quality thin film ***,studies on ALD based oxide semiconductors have dramatically increased *** so,the relationships between the film properties of ALD-oxide semiconductors and the main variables associated with deposition are still poorly understood,as are many issues related to *** this review,to introduce ALD-oxide semiconductors,we provide:(a)a brief summary of the history and importance of ALD-based oxide semiconductors in industry,(b)a discussion of the benefits of ALD for oxide semiconductor deposition(in-situ composition control in vertical distribution/vertical structure engineering/chemical reaction and film properties/insulator and interface engineering),and(c)an explanation of the challenging issues of scaling oxide semiconductors and ALD for industrial *** review provides valuable perspectives for researchers who have interest in semiconductor materials and electronic device applications,and the reasons ALD is important to applications of oxide semiconductors.

We find that the emission from laterally coupled quantum dots is strongly polarized along the coupled direction[110],and its polarization anisotropy can be shaped by changing the orientation of the polarized *** the nonresonant excitation is linearly polarized perpendicular to the coupled direction[110],excitons(X_(1) and X_(2))and local biexcitons(X_(1)X_(1) and X_(2)X_(2))from the two separate quantum dots(QD_(1) and QD_(2))show emission anisotropy with a small degree of polarization(10%).On the other hand,when the excitation polarization is parallel to the coupled direction [110],the polarization anisotropy of excitons,local biexcitons,and coupled biexcitons(X_(1)X_(2))is enhanced with a degree of polarization of 74%.We also observed a consistent anisotropy in the time-resolved *** decay rate of the polarized photoluminescence intensity along the coupled direction is relatively high,but the anisotropic decay rate can be modified by changing the orientation of the polarized *** energy difference is also observed between the polarized emission spectra parallel and perpendicular to the coupled direction,and it increases by up to three times by changing the excitation polarization orientation from [110] to [110].These results suggest that the dipole-dipole interaction across the two separate quantum dots is mediated and that the anisotropic wavefunctions of the excitons and biexcitons are shaped by the excitation polarization.

An AZ91–0.9Ca–0.6Y–0.5MM(AZXWMM91100) alloy, which has higher corrosion resistance, ignition resistance, and extrudability than a commercial AZ91 alloy, has been developed recently. In this study, the AZXWMM91100 alloy is extruded at various temperatures(300–400 ℃) and ram speeds(1–14.5 mm/s), and the cracking behaviors, microstructure, and tensile properties of the extruded materials are systematically analyzed. On the basis of the pressure limit and surface and internal cracking limit, the extrusion limit diagram providing a safe extrusion processing zone is established. All of the materials extruded at temperatures and speeds within the safe extrusion processing zone have high surface quality and moderate tensile ductility with an elongation higher than 10%. Moreover, they have a fully recrystallized grain structure and contain undissolved particle stringers arranged parallel to the extrusion direction. The grain size of the extruded material does not show any relationship with the Zener–Hollomon parameter(Z). However, the yield strength(YS) of the extruded material is inversely proportional to the logarithm of the Z value, and their relationship is expressed as YS =-31.2·log(Z) + 536. These findings may broaden the understanding of the AZXWMM91100 alloy with excellent chemical and physical properties and provide valuable information for the development of high-performance extruded Mg products using this alloy.

Flooding is a hazardous natural calamity that causes significant damage to lives and infrastructure in the real ***,timely and accurate decision-making is essential for mitigating flood-related *** traditional flood prediction techniques often encounter challenges in accuracy,timeliness,complexity in handling dynamic flood patterns and leading to substandard flood management *** address these challenges,there is a need for advanced machine learning models that can effectively analyze Internet of Things(IoT)-generated flood data and provide timely and accurate flood *** paper proposes a novel approach-the Adaptive Momentum and Backpropagation(AM-BP)algorithm-for flood prediction and management in IoT *** AM-BP model combines the advantages of an adaptive momentum technique with the backpropagation algorithm to enhance flood prediction accuracy and ***-world flood data is used for validation,demonstrating the superior performance of the AM-BP algorithm compared to traditional *** addition,multilayer high-end computing architecture(MLCA)is used to handle weather data such as rainfall,river water level,soil moisture,*** AM-BP’s real-time abilities enable proactive flood management,facilitating timely responses and effective disaster ***,the AM-BP algorithm can analyze large and complex datasets,integrating environmental and climatic factors for more accurate flood *** evaluation result shows that the AM-BP algorithm outperforms traditional approaches with an accuracy rate of 96%,96.4%F1-Measure,97%Precision,and 95.9%*** proposed AM-BP model presents a promising solution for flood prediction and management in IoT networks,contributing to more resilient and efficient flood control strategies,and ensuring the safety and well-being of communities at risk of flooding.

Testicular torsion,a common urologic emergency,is primarily caused by ischemia/reperfusion (I/R)injury of the *** oxide (NO)-derived from nitrite (NO2-)has been reported to have prominent therapeutic effects on I/R injury in the heart,liver,and brain;however,its effects on testicular I/R injury have not been *** study,therefore,investigated whether NO from NO2^-is beneficial in a rat model of testicular I/R injury which eventually results in impaired *** Sprague-Dawley rats were assigned to the following seven groups:group A,sham-operated control group;Group B,I/R with no treatment;Groups C, D,and E,I/R followed by treatment with three different doses of NO2^-;Group F,I/R followed by administration of NO2-and NO scavenger (2-(4-carboxyphenyl)-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-l-oxyl-3-oxide potassium salt [C-PTIO]);and Group G,I/R followed by administration of nitrate (NO3^-).NO2^-,NO3^-,and C-PTIO were intravenously *** examination of the testes and the western blot analysis of caspase-3 were *** of antioxidant enzymes and lipid peroxidation were measured. Soil heterotrophic respiration and its temperature sensitivity are affected by various climatic and environmental ***,little is known about the combined effects of concurrent climatic and environmental changes,such as climatic warming,changing precipitation regimes,and increasing nitrogen(N)***,in this study,we investigated the individual and combined effects of warming,wetting,and N addition on soil heterotrophic respiration and temperature *** incubated soils collected from a temperate forest in South Korea for 60 d at two temperature levels(15 and 20℃,representing the annual mean temperature of the study site and 5℃warming,respectively),three moisture levels(10%,28%,and 50%water-filled pore space(WFPS),representing dry,moist,and wet conditions,respectively),and two N levels(without N and with N addition equivalent to 50 kg N ha^(-1)year^(-1)).On day 30,soils were distributed across five different temperatures(10,15,20,25,and 30℃)for 24 h to determine short-term changes in temperature sensitivity(Q_(10),change in respiration with 10℃increase in temperature)of soil heterotrophic *** completing the incubation on day 60,we measured substrate-induced respiration(SIR)by adding six labile substrates to the three types of *** treatment(increase from 28%to 50%WFPS)reduced SIR by 40.8%(3.77 to 2.23μg CO_(2)-C g^(-1)h^(-1)),but warming(increase from 15 to 20℃)and N addition increased SIR by 47.7%(3.77 to 5.57μg CO_(2)-C g^(-1)h^(-1))and 42.0%(3.77 to 5.35μg CO_(2)-C g^(-1)h^(-1)),respectively.A combination of any two treatments did not affect SIR,but the combination of three treatments reduced SIR by 42.4%(3.70 to 2.20μg CO_(2)-C g^(-1)h^(-1)).Wetting treatment increased Q_(10)by 25.0%(2.4 to 3.0).However,warming and N addition reduced Q_(10)by 37.5%(2.4 to 1.5)and 16.7%(2.4 to 2.0),*** coupled with wetting did not significantly change Q_(10),while warming coupled with N addition reduced Q

The development of flexible and wearable devices is mainly required for tactile sensing;as such devices can adapt to complicated nonuniform surfaces,they can be applied to the human ***,it remains necessary to simultaneously achieve small-scale,portable,and stable developments in such ***,this work aims at fabricating a novel,lightweight,ultra-flexible,and fiber-shaped coaxial structure with a diameter of 0.51 mm using polydimethylsiloxane/graphene/nylon material,based on piezoresistive and triboelectric *** piezoresistive-based robotic-hand-controlled sensor thus realized exhibits a response time of 120 ms and a fast recovery time of 55 ***,the piezoresistive-based sensors effectively feature whisker/joystick-guided behaviors and also sense the human finger *** to the triboelectric-based selfpowered nanogenerator behavior,the resulting sensor can convert mechanical motion into electrical energy,without adversely affecting human ***,this triboelectric-based human finger sensor can be operated under different bending modes at specific ***,this multifunctional sensor is cost-effective and suitable for various applications,including robotichand-controlled operations in medical surgery,whisker/joystick motions in lightweight drone technology,and navigation with highsensitivity components.
