B-cell CLL/lymphoma 9(BCL9)is considered a key developmental regulator and a well-established oncogenic driver in multiple cancer types,mainly through potentiating the Wnt/β-catenin ***,increasing evidences indicate that BCL9 also plays multiple Wnt-independent ***,we summarized the updates of the canonical and non-canonical functions of BCL9 in cellular,physiological,or pathological ***,we also concluded that the targeted inhibitors disrupt the interaction ofβ-catenin with BCL9 reported recently.

BACKGROUND Subclavian vein stenosis or occlusion may be caused by a transvenous pacemaker,which makes the reimplantation of a new pacemaker lead *** pacemaker lead implantation-related subclavian vein occlusion may present difficulty with regard to cardiac resynchronization therapy(CRT)*** SUMMARY We report the case of a 46-year-old man who was admitted with total subclavian vein occlusion caused by a permanent pacemaker that had been implanted 2 years *** successfully treated this patient with an upgrade to a CRT pacemaker by utilizing transferable interventional coronary and radiological *** patient recovered uneventfully during the follow-up *** CRT upgrade is still a viable technique for the treatment of subclavian vein obstruction caused by previous pacemaker implantation.

The collision of ships in narrow waterway may occur for a variety of *** hydrodynamic forces between two ships change the maneuvering characteristics of ships *** based on the boundary element method, this paper proposes a calculation method for hydrodynamicinteraction forces between ships under meeting and passing conditions in narrow waterway. Theresults from this method are compared with the existing results obtained from other theoreticalapproaches, and they are in good agreement.

DNA barcodes have been proposed as a shortcut to provide species identification and as a way to accelerate the discovery of new species. A number of candidate gene regions have been suggested as possible barcodes for animals and plants, but for the identification of recently diverged species and/or varieties with only a few genetic differences it has been reported to be problematic in some cases. This study selected widely cultivated cruciferous vegetables as the primary samples, after failure of discrimination of each species using current DNA barcodes, we performed the fluorescent amplified fragment length polymorphism （F-AFLP） and successfully discriminated each species, subspecies, variety and their cultivar in 74 samples. Then the non-qualitative results obtained from F-AFLP were transformed into two-dimensional barcodes image file of each cultivar via the PDF417 software. This method was also successfully applied to the discrimination of 17 Chinese indigenous pig breeds. The barcode we constructed which greatly reduces the information storage space is genotypes-specific, and can be conveniently decoded into the original data and thereby be conveniently shared and referred to. We believe that it is possible to construct a new data sharing molecular barcode system that could discriminate the subspecies, varieties, cultivars and even individuals with close genetic relationships.

Iron-based superconductor,a promising candidate for high-field applications,has attracted significant *** practical utilization,the superconducting tapes should have high transport critical current density(J_(c)),low production cost,larger mechanical strength and good *** this study,seven-filament Cu/Agsheathed(Ba,K)Fe_(2)As_(2)tapes were fabricated from round and square *** is found that the tapes rolled from square wires have a desirable uniformity of filament deformation and distribution,compared with the ones rolled from round ***,the J_c of tape was obviously improved by using square drawing dies instead of traditional round *** the tapes rolled from square wires annealed under ambient and 2 MPa by hot pressing,the transport J_c values reached 1.51×10^(4) A·cm^(-2)and 4.86×10^(4) ***^(-2)(4.2K,10T),*** deformation process on the cross section of the tapes during rolling was analyzed by using the powder-flow *** results indicate a potential application of Cu/Ag(Ba,K)Fe_(2)As_(2)tapes in high-magnetic-field region.

Oscillation amplitude of the free end of a group of the three cylinders was studied. The results of three cylinder arrangement were compared with those of two cylinders in tandem/side-by-side arrangement under the same condition. The experimental results show that the rear cylinder of the three cylinders is affected more seriously than that of two cylinders in contrast arrangement. The main direction of oscillation is changed. The transversal oscillation is stronger than the longitudinal oscillation in the three cylinder arrangement. The transversal oscillation is much weaker than the longitudinal oscillation in the two cylinders arrangement. The large transversal oscillations are attained for the rear cylinder in the third arrangement (two cylinders in tandem arrangement with a side cylinder) at S/D=2.5 and 3.0.

We show that the nonlinear stage of the dual-wavelength pumped modulation instability(MI)in nonlinear Schrödinger equation(NLSE)can be effectively analyzed by mode truncation *** resulting complicated heteroclinic structure of instability unveils all possible dynamic trajectories of nonlinear ***,the latticed-Fermi-Pasta-Ulam recurrences on the modulated-wave background in NLSE are also investigated and their dynamic trajectories run along the Hamiltonian contours of the heteroclinic *** is demonstrated that there has much richer dynamic behavior,in contrast to the nonlinear waves reported *** novel nonlinear wave promises to inject new vitality into the study of MI.

Salmonella:mediated cancer therapy has achieved remarkable anti-tumor effects in experimental animal models,but the detailed mechanism remains *** this report,the active involvement of the host immune response in this process was confirmed by comparing the tumor-suppressive effects of Salmonella in immunocompetent and immunodeficient mice bearing melanoma *** flagella are key inducers of the host immune response during bacterial infection,flagella were genetically disrupted to analyse their involvement in Salmonella-mediated cancer *** results showed that flagellum-deficient strains failed to induce significant anti-tumor effects,even when more bacteria were administered to offset the difference in invasion *** mainly activate immune cells via Flagellin/Toll-like receptor 5(TLR5)signalling ***,we showed that exogenous activation of TLR5 signalling by recombinant Flagellin and exogenous expression of TLR5 both enhanced the therapeutic efficacy of flagellum-deficient Salmonella against *** study highlighted the therapeutic value of the interaction between Salmonella and the host immune response through Flagellin/TLR5 signalling pathway during Salmonella-mediated cancer therapy,thereby suggesting the potential application of TLR5 agonists in the cancer immune therapy.

One major cause of Alzheimer’s disease(AD) is evidently due to the aggregation and deposition of amyloidβ peptides(Aβ) in the brain tissue of the patient. Preventing misfolding and self-aggregation of Aβ protein can reduce the formation of highly toxic polymer, which is important for the treatment of AD. Among them, the α-helix consisting of42 residues(Aβ42) is the main component of senile plaques in AD. In this paper, 500 ns accelerated molecular dynamics are performed at different temperatures(300 K, 350 K, 400 K, 450 K) to study of the effect of temperature-induced conformation changes of Aβ42 protein during the unfolding process respectively.

A series of salicylaldimines, synthesized in high yield via microwave-assisted condensation of salicylaldehyde and 2-alkoxyaniline were allowed to react with nickel chloride to form six-coordinated nickel complexes. These nickel complexes were carefully characterized, and the solid structure of la was elucidated by X-Ray diffraction. Activated with MAO, the nickel complexes showed good activity for homopolymerization of norbornene. Reaction parameters, such as the ratio of nickel precursor to MAO, monomer concentration, reaction time and the reaction temperature, as well as the nature of the ligands were found to have significant effects on the catalytic activity and some properties of the resulting polynorbornene.
