New reagents for immunofluorescence analysis of carbazole series containing fluorinated β-dicarbonyl fragments and carboxylic substituent groups separated by spacers of different lengths from the light-gathering carbazole scaffold have been developed. The markers in complex with eu3+ ions possess stability in the aqueous phase, intense and prolonged luminescence (τ 550 - 570 μs) with characteristic emission maxima in the region of 615 nm and excitation wavelengths in the region of 380 - 390 nm, which distinguishes them from most of the analogs used. In the study of marker conjugation with streptavidin, a reagent containing 4 - 5 europium labeling complexes based on spacer-containing carbazole tetraketone was obtained. The marker-doped silicate nanoparticles exhibit intense and long-lived luminescence in the characteristic region.

Rydberg excitons(analogues of Rydberg atoms in condensed matter systems)are highly excited bound electron-hole states with large Bohr *** interaction between them as well as exciton coupling to light may lead to strong optical nonlinearity,with applications in sensing and quantum information ***,we achieve strong effective photon–photon interactions(Kerr-like optical nonlinearity)via the Rydberg blockade phenomenon and the hybridisation of excitons and photons forming polaritons in a Cu2O-filled *** pulsed resonant excitation polariton resonance frequencies are renormalised due to the reduction of the photon-exciton coupling with increasing exciton *** analysis shows that the Rydberg blockade plays a major role in the experimentally observed scaling of the polariton nonlinearity coefficient as∝n4.4±1.8 for principal quantum numbers up to n=*** high principal quantum numbers studied in a polariton system for the first time are essential for realisation of high Rydberg optical nonlinearities,which paves the way towards quantum optical applications and fundamental studies of strongly correlated photonic(polaritonic)states in a solid state system.

The paper presents research results of the synthesis, phase composition, and structure of products obtained by highly exothermic reactions between Ti and C10H8O4mixture components, depending on the plastic waste concentration and Ti powder dispersiveness, density of initial samples, and synthesis medium. The dependence of the phase composition and structure of the synthesis products on the concentration of the polymer（plastic）component in the initial Ti-PeT(C10H8O4) system was found. When the plastic waste content is 20 wt% to 25 wt%, synthesis products contain TiC0.5O0.5–TiC0.6–0.75particle agglomerates. Further growth in the polyethylene terephthalate content from 30 wt% to 45 wt% leads to the formation of synthesis products consisting of titanium carbide(TiC0.6–1.0). The gaseous byproduct composition of the exothermic reaction is investigated for the Ti–-C10H8O4mixture composition. It is found that the gaseous by-product mostly contains hydrogen and carbon monoxide as well as impurities of different hydrocarbons（methane, acetylene, ethane, ethene） and carbon dioxide. The maximum adiabatic temperature of the gas combustion temperature is 2080℃, which demonstrates the possibility of using gas as a fuel for energy generation devices. Based on the data obtained, it is possible to create a basis for a new plastic waste technology to fabricate carbide-containing materials.

The effect of air pressure(12.5,25,50,and 100 kPa)on the gen eration of runaway electron beams in a non-uniform electric field when applying voltage pulses(~35 kV)with a rise time of?200 ns has been *** results show that the discharge has various stages:streamer,diffuse,and ***,a wide streamer develops in the gap and a diffuse discharge is formed.A spark is formed u 100 ns after the *** current pulse of a supershort avalanche electron beam(SAeB)was measured with a collector at various pressures of *** show that there are two modes of generation of run away *** an air pressure of 25-100 kPa,a single SAeB current pulse with a full width at half-maximum(FWHM)of 120-140 ps is *** the air pressure of 12.5 kPa,two current pulses of the electron beam are *** of the first and second current pulses are ul40ps and u300 ps,*** current pulse amplitude of the second electron beam is higher than that of the first one,but the electron energy is less.

episodic events in long-term geological processes:A new classification and its applications

Long-term geological processes are usually described with curves reflecting continuous changes in the characteristic parameters through the geological history, and such curves can be employed directly for recognition of episodic(relatively long-term) events linked to these changes. The episodic events can be classified into several categories according to their scale(ordinary and anomalous events), "shape"(positive, negative, and neutral events), and relation to long-term trend change(successive, interruptive,facilitative, stabilizing, transformative, increasing, and decreasing). Many types of these events can be defined depending on the combination of the above-mentioned patterns. Of course, spatial rank,duration, and origin can be also considered in description of these events. The proposed classification can be applied to events in some real long-term geological processes, which include global sea-level changes,biodiversity dynamics, lithospheric plate number changes, and palaeoclimate changes. Several case examples prove the usefulness of the classification. It is established that the early Valanginian(early Cretaceous) eustatic lowstand(the lowest position of the sea level in the entire Cretaceous) was negative,but ordinary and only interruptive event. In the other case, it becomes clear that the only end-Ordovician and the Permian/Triassic mass extinctions transformed the trends of the biodiversity dynamics(from increase to decrease and from decrease to increase respectively), and the only Cretaceous/Paleogene mass extinction was really anomalous event on the Phanerozoic biodiversity curve. The new palaeontological data are employed to reconstruct the diversity dynamics of brachiopods in Germany(without the Alps) and the Swiss Jura Mountains. The further interpretation of the both diversity curves implies that the early Toarcian mass extinction affected the regional brachiopod faunas strongly, but this event was only decreasing(biotic radiation continued after

Point defects in the crystal lattice of SiC,known as color centers,have recently emerged as one of the most promising single-photon emitters for non-classical light ***,the search for the best color center that satisfies all the requirements of practical applications has only just *** color centers in SiC have been recently discovered but not yet ***,it is extremely challenging to understand their optoelectronic properties and evaluate their potential for use in practical single-photon ***,we present a theoretical approach that explains the experiments on single-photon electroluminescence(SPeL)of novel color centers in SiC p-i-n diodes and gives the possibility to engineer highly efficient single-photon emitting diodes based on ***,we develop a novel method of determining the electron and hole capture cross sections by the color center from experimental measurements of the SPeL rate and second-order *** other methods,the developed approach uses the experimental results at the single defect level that can be easily obtained as soon as a single-color center is identified in the i-type region of the SiC p-i-n diode.

This study was conducted to determine the parent-off spring genetic structure of the pedunculate oak(Quercus robur L.),sessile oak(***[Matt.]Liebl.)and their *** half-sib Quercus families and their maternal trees originating from one tree stand in southern Lithuania were analyzed using SSR and RAPD *** on a preliminary study of leaf morphological traits,the individuals separated into six *** studied halfsib oak families were also compared for allelic diversity,including group variations;genotypic structure;genetic diversity;and the degree of genetic subdivision and diff *** level of genetic variation and subdivision was lower in the hybrid families than in the families of the parental *** analysis of the half-sibling off spring showed the asymmetric nature of interspecifi c hybridization processes of pedunculate and sessile oaks in mixed stands.
