Dual Control of Macrolithotype and Coal Structure on the Pore Parameters of Middle Jurassic Coals in the Southern Junggar Basin,NW China

Coal pore parameters are closely related to macrolithotypes and coal structures,having a large influence over the gas potential and productivity of coalbed methane(CBM).The Middle Jurassic Xishanyao Formation,located in the southern Junggar Basin of northwestern China,has geological conditions with rich CBM *** 46 Xishanyao coal samples gathered from the drilling cores and coal mines cover 4 types of macrolithotypes(bright coal 1,semi-bright coal 2,semi-dull coal 3,and dull coal 4)and 2 types of coal structures(primary coal I and cataclastic coal II).Based on a range of pore testing experiments and analytical methods,the dual effects of different macrolithotypes and coal structures on pore structures were intensely *** results showed that the specific surface area(SSA)and total pore volume(TPV)of coal samples increased gradually from bright to dull *** the same macrolithotypes,the SSA and TPV of the primary coals were lower than those of the cataclastic ***,the pore structures of bright and semi-bright coals are simpler when compared to semi-dull and dull coals with the same coal structure,whereas cataclastic coals have more complicated pore structure systems than primary coals with the same *** bright and semi-bright coals have higher vitrinite contents and more endogenous fractures,whereas well-developed structural fractures were identified in cataclastic ***,bright and semi-bright coals have better pore connectivity than semi-dull and dull coals with the same coal structure,the pore connectivity of cataclastic coals being slightly better than that of primary coals under the same *** terms of the CBM adsorption conditions,the eight type samples formed a descending order:Ⅱ-4>I-4>Ⅱ-3>Ⅰ-3>Ⅱ-2>Ⅰ-2>Ⅱ-1>Ⅰ-1,while they ranked as follows when consideration was given to the CBM seepage capacities:II-2>Ⅱ-1>Ⅰ-2>Ⅰ-1>Ⅰ-3>Ⅰ-4>Ⅱ-3>Ⅱ-*** a result,it could be determined that the bright and semi-bright

Exploring Potential Barrier Estimation Mechanism Based on Quantum Dynamics Framework

Due to the probability characteristics of quantum mechanism, the combination of quantum mechanism and intelligent algorithm has received wide attention. Quantum dynamics theory uses the Schr?dinger equation as a quantum dynamics equation. Through three approximation of the objective function, quantum dynamics framework(QDF) is obtained which describes basic iterative operations of optimization algorithms. Based on QDF, this paper proposes a potential barrier estimation(PBE) method which originates from quantum mechanism. With the proposed method, the particle can accept inferior solutions during the sampling process according to a probability which is subject to the quantum tunneling effect, to improve the global search capacity of optimization *** effectiveness of the proposed method in the ability of escaping local minima was thoroughly investigated through double well function(DWF), and experiments on two benchmark functions sets show that this method significantly improves the optimization performance of high dimensional complex functions. The PBE method is quantized and easily transplanted to other algorithms to achieve high performance in the future.

Atomic-scale insights into microscopic mechanisms of grain boundary segregation in Al−Cu alloys

This study aims to clarify the mechanisms for the grain boundary(GB)segregation through investigating the absorption of excess solute atoms at GBs in Al−Cu alloys by using the hybrid molecular dynamics/Monte Carlo *** segregation mechanisms,substitutional and interstitial mechanisms,are *** intergranular defects,including dislocations,steps and vacancies,and the intervals in structural units are conductive to the prevalence of interstitial *** substitutional mechanism is favored by the highly ordered twin ***,the two mechanisms affect the GB structure *** is quantified that interstitial mechanism is less destructive to GB structure than substitutional one,and often leads to a segregation level being up to about 6 times higher than the *** findings contribute to atomic scale insights into the microscopic mechanisms about how solute atoms are absorbed by GB structures,and clarify the correlation among intergranular structures,segregation mechanisms and kinetics.

Thermoelectric Modulation of Neat Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXenes by Finely Regulating the Stacking of Nanosheets

Emerging two-dimensional MXenes have been extensively studied in a wide range of fields thanks to their superior electrical and hydrophilic attributes as well as excellent chemical stability and mechanical *** them,the ultrahigh electrical conductivity(σ)and tunable band structures of benchmark Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene demonstrate its good potential as thermoelectric(TE)***,both the large variation ofσreported in the literature and the intrinsically low Seebeck coefficient(S)hinder the practical ***,this study has for the first time systematically investigated the TE properties of neat Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) films,which are finely modulated by exploiting different dispersing solvents,controlling nanosheet sizes and constructing ***,deionized water is found to be superior for obtaining closely packed MXene sheets relative to other polar ***,a simultaneous increase in both S andσis realized via elevating centrifugal speed on MXene aqueous suspensions to obtain small-sized nanosheets,thus yielding an ultrahigh power factor up to~156μW m^(-1) K^(-2).Third,S is significantly enhanced yet accompanied by a reduction inσwhen constructing MXene-based nanocomposites,the latter of which is originated from the damage to the intimate stackings of MXene ***,a correlation between the TE properties of neat Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) films and the stacking of nanosheets is elucidated,which would stimulate further exploration of MXene TEs.

In view of recent environmental concerns,electrochemical water splitting for hydrogen(H2)as one of the important reactions has getting more and more attention in these ***,we synthesized a series of Mo,N,and P co-doped carbons as efficient electrocatalysts to replace the expensive platinum-based *** the final products,the combination of Mo_(2)C nanoparticles(NPs)and N,P co-doped carbons were fabricated using a simple molten salt *** notably,KCl as the template could be recycled and reused via water *** ratios of the precursors could affect the structure of the final production,and therefore further determine the performance of electrocatalytic towards hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Owing to extensive supplies of active sites and heterogeneous structures that provide transfer channels for electrons,the optimal sample of GUPMo-2.00KCl exhibited the best HER activity among the as-synthesized samples,including low overpotentials,small Tafel slope,and good *** work opens up a novel prospect for the designing of high-performance electrocatalysts.

Landscape of four different stages of human gastric cancer revealed by single-cell sequencing

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer(GC)poses a substantial risk to human health due to its high prevalence and mortality ***,current therapeutic strategies remain ***-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)offers the potential to provide comprehensive insights into GC *** To explore the distribution and dynamic changes of cell populations in the GC tumor microenvironment using scRNA-seq *** Cancerous tissues and paracancerous tissues were obtained from patients diagnosed with GC at various stages(I,II,III,and IV).Single-cell suspensions were prepared and analyzed using scRNA-seq to examine transcriptome profiles and cell-cell ***,quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)and flow cytometry were applied for measuring the expression of cluster of differentiation(CD)2,CD3D,CD3E,cytokeratin 19,cytokeratin 8,and epithelial cell adhesion *** Transcriptome data from 73645 single cells across eight tissues of four patients were categorized into 25 distinct cell clusters,representing 10 different cell *** were observed in these cell type *** adjacent epithelial cells in stages II and III exhibited a degenerative ***,the quantity of CD4 T cells and CD8 T cells were evidently elevated in cancerous *** analysis displayed a remarkable increase in interaction between B cells and other mast cells in stages II,III,and IV of *** findings were further validated through qRT-PCR and flow cytometry,demonstrating elevated T cells and declined epithelial cells within the cancerous *** This study provides a comprehensive analysis of cell dynamics across GC stages,highlighting key interactions within the tumor *** findings offer valuable insights for developing novel therapeutic strategies.

Impact of ocean data assimilation on the seasonal forecast of the 2014/15 marine heatwave in the Northeast Pacific Ocean

A remarkable marine heatwave,known as the“Blob”,occurred in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from late 2013 to early 2016,which displayed strong warm anomalies extending from the surface to a depth of 300 *** study employed two assimilation schemes based on the global Climate Forecast System of Nanjing University of Information Science(NUIST-CFS 1.0)to investigate the impact of ocean data assimilation on the seasonal prediction of this extreme marine *** sea surface temperature(SST)nudging scheme assimilates SST only,while the deterministic ensemble Kalman filter(EnKF)scheme assimilates observations from the surface to the deep *** latter notably improves the forecasting skill for subsurface temperature anomalies,especially at the depth of 100-300 m(the lower layer),outperforming the SST nudging *** excels in predicting both horizontal and vertical heat transport in the lower layer,contributing to improved forecasts of the lower-layer warming during the *** improvements stem from the assimilation of subsurface observational data,which are important in predicting the upper-ocean *** results suggest that assimilating ocean data with the EnKF scheme significantly enhances the accuracy in predicting subsurface temperature anomalies during the Blob and offers better understanding of its underlying mechanisms.

Exploring the effects of perception factors on evacuation intentions of residents

The evacuation of people under threat is an effective disaster prevention and mitigation measure in response to flash floods and geological hazards,and it is also an essential element of pre-disaster ***,the effect of the interactions between perception factors on residents'willingness to evacuate is an urgent problem to be ***,this paper introduces risk,stakeholder,and protective action perceptions from the protective action decision model as the main explanatory *** three core perceptions are subdivided into affective risk perception,cognitive risk perception,government perception,other-stakeholder perception,resourcerelated attributes,and hazard-related attributes.A questionnaire survey was conducted from June to July 2023 among residents of mountainous communities in nine villages in three towns in Sichuan Province,China.359 cross-sectional data were analyzed using structural equation modeling to explore the effects of six perception factors on evacuation *** results of the study showed that:(1)affective risk perception,government perception,other-stakeholder perception,and hazard-related attributes all directly and positively influence residents'intentions to evacuate;(2)cognitive risk perception is mediated by stakeholder and protective action perceptions,which indirectly and positively affect residents'intentions to *** on the hypothesized paths,strategies to improve residents'willingness to evacuate are discussed from the perspective of three core perceptions:strengthening disaster risk education,improving residents'cohesion,and building government *** results of this study can provide theoretical support and practical suggestions for emergency management departments to formulate emergency evacuation strategies,which can aid decision-makers in better understanding residents'intentions to evacuate,optimizing evacuation information dissemination pathways,and strengthening disaster risk man
