Beamforming design for covert broadcast communication with hidden adversary

This paper explores covert broadcast communication in a challenging situation in which the transmitter, Alice, faces uncertainty regarding the position of the passive adversary, Willie. In this situation,controlling the signal exposure becomes difficult. Specifically, this paper focuses on the cases where Alice can delimit the suspicious areas where Willie may be located. The suspicious areas can have arbitrary number and shapes. Under the Rician fading model, the analytical expression of Willie's detection performance is derived. Then, the transmit power, the beamforming direction, and the number of channel uses are jointly designed to minimize the optimal Willie's detection performance among all the possible positions of Willie, on the premise of satisfying receivers' quality-of-service requirements. To tackle the formulated knotty problem with an infinite number of irregular and discontinuous Willie's possible positions, the continuous nature of the antenna pattern is exploited to convert the original problem into the one with a finite number of possible positions, by sampling the suspicious areas. Then, different algorithms are developed to address the resultant non-convex optimization problem for single-antenna Willie and multi-antenna Willie, respectively. Numerical results demonstrate significant performance gains of the proposed scheme over the widely-adopted maximum ratio transmission scheme, which indicates that simply adjusting the main lobe towards the receiver is indeed far away from optimum and shows the importance of leveraging Alice's limited knowledge of Willie's position.

Secure separable reversible data hiding of halftone image in blockchain

To realize the distributed storage and management of a secret halftone image in blockchain,a secure separable reversible data hiding(RDH)of halftone image in blockchain(SSRDHB)was proposed.A secret halftone image can be used as the original image to generate multiple share images which can be distributed storage in each point of blockchain,and additional data can be hidden to achieve management of each share image.Firstly,the secret halftone image was encrypted through Zu Chongzhi(ZUC)algorithm by using the encryption key(EK).Secondly,the method of using odd or even of share data was proposed to hide data,and a share dataset can be generated by using polynomial operation.Thirdly,multiple share images can be obtained through selecting share data,and different additional data can be hidden through controlling odd or even of share data,and additional data can be protected by using data-hiding key(DK).After sharing process,if the receiver has both keys,the halftone image can be recovered and additional data can be revealed,and two processes are separable.Experiment results show that multiple share images hidden additional data can be obtained through SSRDHB,and the halftone image can be recovered with 100%by picking any part of share images,and one additional data can be revealed with 100%by picking any one share image.

Resistance development,cross-resistance,and fitness costs associated with Aphis gossypii resistance towards sulfoxaflor and acetamiprid in different geographical regions

Aphis gossypii has become increasingly difficult to manage due to its strong insecticide resistance.In the laboratory,we established sulfoxaflor-resistant and acetamiprid-resistant strains in two A.gossypii populations with different basal insecticide resistance levels,and evaluated the effects of basal insecticide resistance on the resistance development and cross-resistance,as well as differences in fitness.Under the same selection pressure,Yarkant A.gossypii(with low basal insecticide resistance)evolved resistance to sulfoxaflor and acetamiprid more quickly than Jinghe A.gossypii(with high basal insecticide resistance),and the evolution of A.gossypii resistance to sulfoxaflor developed faster than acetamiprid in both Yarkant and Jinghe,Xingjiang,China.The sulfoxaflor-resistant strains selected from Yarkant and Jinghe developed significant cross-resistance to acetamiprid,imidacloprid,thiamethoxam and pymetrozine;while the acetamiprid-resistant strains developed significant cross-resistance to sulfoxaflor,imidacloprid,thiamethoxam,pymetrozine,and chlorpyrifos.The relative fitness of A.gossypii decreased as the resistance to sulfoxaflor and acetamiprid developed.The relative fitness levels of the sulfoxaflor-resistant strains(Yarkant-SulR and Jinghe-SulR)were lower than those of the acetamipridresistant strains(Yarkant-AceR and Jinghe-AceR).In addition,the relative fitness levels of sulfoxaflor-and acetamiprid-resistant strains were lower in Jinghe than in Yarkant.In summary,basal insecticide resistance of A.gossypii and insecticide type affected the evolution of resistance to insecticides in A.gossypii,as well as cross-resistance to other insecticides.The sulfoxaflor-and acetamiprid-resistant A.gossypii strains had obvious fitness costs.The results of this work will contribute to the insecticide resistance management and integrated management of A.gossypii.

(k, n) halftone visual cryptography based on Shamir＇ s secret sharing

（k, n） halftone visual cryptography （HVC） is proposed based on Shamir＇ s secret sharing （HVCSSS）, and through this method a binary secret image can be hided into n halftone images, and the secret image can be revealed from any k halftone images. Firstly, using Shamir＇ s secret sharing, a binary secret image can be shared into n meaningless shares; secondly, hiding n shares into n halftone images through self-hiding method; and then n extracted shares can be obtained from n halftone images through self-decrypt method; finally, picking any k shares from n extracted shares, the secret image can be revealed by using Lagrange interpolation. The main contribution is that applying Shamir＇ s secret sharing to realize a （k, n） HVC, and this method neither requires code book nor suffers from pixel expansion. Experimental results show HVCSSS can realize a （k, n） HVC in gray-scale and color halftone images, and correct decoding rate （CDR） of revealed secret image can be guaranteed.

High Quality Data Hiding in Halftone Image Based on Block Conjugate

This paper proposes a High quality data hiding in halftone image based on block conjugate(HQDHBC). We construct Least mean square filters(LMSF),and using LMSFs to evaluate the quality of halftone images. This paper proposes block conjugate property, and this property can be applied to hide a secret pattern.Therefore a data hiding method based on block conjugate can be proposed, and in this method two images should be divided into multiple blocks of M × N pixels, and in the corresponding block if the first M × N-1 pixels are conjugate or identical, the last pixel can implement normal halftone method instead of date hiding methods. Experimental results show that the proposed HQDHBC can be applied in gray-scale and color error diffused halftone images, and through implementing this method, not only the quality of halftone images can be improved, but also the Correct decoding rate(CDR) of revealed pattern can be guaranteed.

The resource of Fenneropenaeus chinensis has declined sharply due to excessive fishing intensity,ecological changes and diseases.In order to supplement the fishing yield and restore resources of F.chinensis,the relevant authorities have carried out the activities of stock enhancement and releasing.It can increase biomass and recover resources.However,compared with increasing biomass,there were still few reports on its effect on the recovery of resources.Resource recovery is a process related to whether the released individuals can form a reproductive population.Up to now,there has been a lack of evidence whether the released F.chinensis can complete the entire life history,and form reproduction population.In this study,gravid female shrimp after spawning migration were captured from coastal waters of haiyang,Qingdao,and Yellow Sea.After identifying parentage relationships using simple sequence repeat(SSR)and mtDNA haplotype,it was finally confirmed that there were eight released individuals in the recapture samples.It was confirmed for the first time that at least part of the released F.chinensis can complete overwintering and reproductive migration,and maintain the migration habits as their wild counterparts.Therefore,we infered that the released shrimp can reproduce under natural conditions,these F.chinensis can form reproductive populations theoretically if without human intervention.These results indicated that enhancenment and release activities have a positive effect on resource recovery.

对汽车用高强度钢、挤压铝和两种压铸铝共4种材料,分别采用自冲铆接和流钻螺钉建立了钢-铝和铝-铝接头,并通过试验,对比研究了厚度、材料、搭接顺序对两类接头的成形质量和力学性能的影响。结果表明:钢-铝接头中,自冲铆接接头的峰值力整体上优于流钻螺钉接头,但能量吸收低于后者;流钻螺钉接头受到螺钉断裂的影响较小,而自冲铆接接头在铆钉断裂后,能量吸收显著降低;铝-铝接头中,流钻螺钉接头的峰值力和能量吸收均优于自冲铆接接头,厚板置于下层可提高流钻螺钉接头的峰值力和能量吸收;同类接头中,铝-铝接头的整体表现优于钢-铝接头。

为改善现有融合策略对源图像信息利用不够充分的问题，利用滚动引导滤波器和各向异性扩散来提取基础层和细节层，对获取的基础层和细节层分别使用视觉显著映射和权重图构建的方法进行融合，然后添加某一权重将融合后的基础层与细节层图像融合为最终图像。基于公开数据集的多个场景进行方法实验验证。实验结果表明，相比其他方法，所提方法得到的融合结果具有更好的对比度，在保持图像像素强度均匀分布的前提下在边缘细节处保留了丰富的纹理特征，具有更好的视觉效果和融合精度，同时在平均梯度、信息熵、空间频率等指标上取得了显著的进步。

Generalized response displacement methods for seismic analysis of underground structures with complex cross section

The response displacement method(RDM)is recommended for the seismic analysis of underground structures in the transverse direction for many codes,including bases for design of structures-seismic actions for designing geotechnical works(ISO 23469)and code for seismic design of urban rail transit structures(GB 50909-2014).However,there are some obvious limitations in the application of RDM.Springs and the shear stress of the soil could be approximately evaluated for the structures having a simple cross section,such as rectangular and circular structures.It is necessary to propose simplified seismic analysis methods for structures with complex cross sections.This paper refers to the idea of RDM and proposes three generalized response displacement methods(GRDM).In GRDM1,a part of the soil surrounding a structure is selected to generate a generalized underground structure with a rectangular cross section,and the same analysis model as RDM is applied to analyze the responses of the structure.In GRDM2,a hollow soil model without a generalized structure is used to compute the equivalent load caused by the relative displacement of the soil,and the soil-structure interaction model is applied to calculate the responses of the structure.In GRDM3,a continuous soil model is applied to compute the equivalent load caused by the relative displacement and shear stress of the soil,and the soil-structure interaction model is applied to analyze the responses of the structure,which is the same as the model used in GRDM2.The time-history analysis method(THAM)is used to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed simplified methods.Results show that the error of GRDM1 is about 20%,while the error is only 5%for GRDM2 and GRDM3.Among the three proposed methods,GRDM3 has obvious advantages regarding calculation efficiency and accuracy.Therefore,it is recommended to use GRDM3 for the seismic response analysis of underground structures that have conventional simple or complex cross sections.
