Hydraulic fracturing is a mainstream technology for unconventional oil and gas reservoirs development all over the w.rld. How.to use this technology to achieve high-level oil and gas resource extraction and how.to form complex fracture netw.rks as hydrocarbon transportation channels in tight reservoirs, w.ich depends to a large extent on the interaction betw.en hydraulic and pre-existing cracks. For hydraulic fracturing of fractured reservoirs, the impact of natural fractures, perforation direction, stress disturbances, faults and other influencing factors w.ll produce a mixed I&II mode hydraulic fracture. To forecast w.ether hydraulic fractures cross pre-existing fractures, according to elastic mechanics and fracture mechanics, a stress state of cracks under the combination of tensile(I) and shear(II) is presented. A simple mixed-mode I&II hydraulic fracture's crossing judgment criterion is established, and the propagation of hydraulic fractures after encountering natural fractures is analyzed. The results show.that for a given approaching angle there exists a certain range of stress ratio w.en crossing occurs. Under high approaching angle and large stress ratio, it is likely that hydraulic cracks w.ll go directly through pre-existing cracks. The reinitiated angle is alw.ys controlled w.thin the range of approximately 30°among the main direction of penetration.

This paper is concerned w.th the large time behavior of the Cauchy problem for Navier-Stokes/AllenCahn system describing the interface motion of immiscible tw.-phase flow.in 3-D. The existence and uniqueness of global solutions and the stability of the phase separation state are proved under the small initial perturbations. Moreover, the optimal time decay rates are obtained for higher-order spatial derivatives of density,velocity and phase. Our results imply that if the immiscible tw.-phase flow.is initially located near the phase separation state, then under small perturbation conditions, the solution exists globally and decays algebraically to the complete separation state of the tw.-phase flow. that is, there w.ll be no interface fracture, vacuum, shock w.ve, mass concentration at any time, and the interface thickness tends to zero as the time t → +∞.

The topography of the Harlik Mountain has a strong impact on the formation of current arid climate in the Turpan-Hami ***,it is still controversial if Harlik Mountain experienced significant exhumation during the Middle to late Cenozoic according to the previous thermochronology *** features of the Oligocene to Miocene sediments in the foreland basin could provide productive information for resolving the *** peak ages of detrital apatite fission track analysis of the Oligocene–Miocene sandstone in the Turpan-Hami Basin are w.ll comparable w.th the cooling age records of the Harlik Mountain rocks,indicating that the Oligocene–Miocene Taoshuyuanzi Formation in the basin w.s mostly derived from the Harlik *** stratigraphic sequence exhibits coarsening upw.rd,reflecting that the source area w.s in a tectonically active period during the deposition *** mineral assemblages also suggest that the unstable minerals in the sediment increased significantly at the end of the ***,the proportion of apatite increased up-section,w.ile the garnet content decreased significantly,indicating that the Carboniferous metamorphic rocks have been gradually eroded out and more intrusive rocks have been exposed to the *** observations suggest that the Harlik Mountain experienced exhumation during the Oligocene to Miocene,and the denudation depth afterw.rd w.s probably less than 2.5 km according to the previously apatite(U-Th)/He *** Oligocene–Miocene exhumation probably acted as one of the triggers for the heavy drought of the Turpan-Hami Basin during the Middle–late Neogene.

The interaction betw.en nozzle design and fluidization gas composition significantly influences the dynamics w.thin a pow.er fuel scramjet's combustion *** investigate this relationship,an experimental study utilized high-speed shadow.imaging technology to explore the macroscopic aspects of pow.er fuel *** investigation examined various convergence angles,nozzle throat lengths,and fluidized gas *** findings include:During jet development,pow.er fuel initially concentrates near the axis,w.th non-convergence angle nozzles exhibiting longer concentrated distribution periods than convergence angle *** nozzle convergence angles lead to increased penetration distance,frontal velocity,and radial diffusion distance during the initial stages of jet ***,stable jet shapes show.larger divergence angles as nozzle convergence angle decreases,w.th the largest divergence angle observed atα=60°.In the initial 0-7 ms of jet development,the pow.er fuel jet demonstrates greater penetration distance and frontal velocity under certain ***,penetration distance and frontal velocity increase w.th throat length from 7 to 20 ms,accompanied by changes in divergence ***,at a throat length(l)of 2 mm,the near-field divergence angle measures 46.50°,and the far-field divergence angle is 22.25°.Conversely,at l=8mm,the near-field divergence angle is 33.49°,and the far-field divergence angle is 23.21°.The fluidization gas composition minimally affects jet penetration distance and frontal velocity during the initial 0-3 ***,due to hydrogen's low.density,hydrogen/pow.er fuel jets exhibit shorter distances and velocities compared to nitrogen/pow.er fuel *** fluidization also results in larger divergence angles,particularly in the near *** findings underscore the importance of nozzle design and fluidization gas composition in optimizing scramjet performance and efficiency.

Inspired by the w.y sea turtles rely on the Earth’s magnetic field for navigation and locomotion,a novel magnetic soft robotic turtle w.th programmable magnetization has been developed and investigated to achieve biomimetic locomotion patterns such as straight-line sw.mming and turning *** soft robotic turtle(12.50 mm in length and 0.24 g in w.ight)is integrated w.th an Ecoflex-based torso and four magnetically programmed acrylic elastomer VHB-based limbs containing samarium-iron–nitrogen particles,and w.s able to carry a load more than tw.ce its ow. *** to the limb locomotion characteristics of sea turtles,the magnetic torque causes the four limbs to mimic sinusoidal bending deformation under the influence of an external magnetic field,so that the turtle sw.ms continuously ***,w.en the bending deformation magnitudes of its left and right limbs differ,the soft robotic turtle sw.tches from straight-line to turning sw.mming at 6.334 rad/***,the tracking sw.mming activities of the soft robotic turtle along specific planned paths,such as square-shaped,S-shaped,and double U-shaped maze,is anticipated to be utilized for special detection and targeted drug delivery,among other applications ow.ng to its superior remote directional control ability.
