Active vision is inherently attention-driven:an agent actively selects views to attend in order to rapidly perform a vision task while improving its internal representation of the scene being *** by the recent success of attention-based models in 2D vision tasks based on single RGB images, we address multi-view depth-based active object recognition using an attention mechanism, by use of an end-to-end recurrent 3D attentional network. The architecture takes advantage of a recurrent neural network to store and update an internal representation. Our model,trained with 3D shape datasets, is able to iteratively attend the best views targeting an object of interest for recognizing it. To realize 3D view selection, we derive a 3D spatial transformer network. It is dierentiable,allowing training with backpropagation, and so achieving much faster convergence than the reinforcement learning employed by most existing attention-based models. Experiments show that our method, with only depth input, achieves state-of-the-art next-best-view performance both in terms of time taken and recognition accuracy.

Superhydrophilic thin films of 21 nm sized non-spherical titania nanoparticles are fabricated from a colloidal suspension by fixed blade flow coating without UV illumination. At a blade angle of a= 36° and a gap of d= 300 μm, hierarchically structured films with increasing surface roughness along with microscopic voids are formed depending on the substrate velocity and the titania volume fraction. Increasing the roughness is shown to be concomitant to an increase in the hydrophilicity, eventually leading to superhydrophilicity or water contact angle less than 5°.

The molecular scalpel of clustered regularly interspersed short palindromic repeats/CRISPR associated protein 9(CRISPR/Cas9) technology may be sharp enough to begin cutting the genes implicated in inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) and consequently decrease the 6.3 billion dollar annual financial healthcare burden in the treatment of IBD. For the past few years CRISPR technology has drastically revolutionized DNA engineering and biomedical research field. We are beginning to see its application in gene manipulation of sickle cell disease,human immunodeficiency virus resistant embryologic twin gene modification and IBD genes such as Gatm(Glycine amidinotransferase, mitochondrial),nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-containing protein 2, kRT12 and other genes implicated in adaptive immune convergence pathways have been subjected to gene editing, however there are very few publications. Furthermore,since Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis have shared disease susceptibility and share genetic gene profile, it is paramount and is more advantageous to use CRISPR technology to maximize impact. Although, currently CRISPR does have its limitations due to limited number of specific Cas enzymes, off-target activity,protospacer adjacent motifs and crossfire between different target sites. However,these limitations have given researchers further insight on how to augment and manipulate enzymes to enable precise gene excision and limit crossfire between target sites.

Decoupling between climate and tectonics, transform the elevation of earth surface regionally by denudation and displacement of land. To extract the tectonic footprints on morphology of landform, geormophometry is widely accepted tool due to visible responses in Drainage architecture to an intense tectonic environment. The present morphology of Yamuna basin in the Garhwal Himalaya, India is a result of continuing crustal deformation;erosion and deposition in the area. The drainage system and geomorphic expression of topography have been significantly influenced by active tectonics in this basin. In present study, for numerical modelling to detect the influence of tectonic signals on landform, we used morphotectonic parameters, to gradient index (SL), valley floor height to width ratio (Vf), asymmetry factor (Af), basin shape index (BS) and hypsometric integral (HI), extracted from SRTM DEM with resolution of 30 m. All these morphotectonic parameters are integrated to produce an index of relative active tectonics (IRAT). The Yamuna basin is classified into three groups based on IRAT, very high (2.25) based on the degree of tectonic activity. Result shows approx. 56% of Yamuna basin experience high tectonic activity. This along strike deformation pattern pronouncedly emulates subsurface geometry based tectonic model.

A novel coronavirus(SARS-CoV-2) is an unusual viral pneumonia in patients, first found in late December 2019, latter it declared a pandemic by World Health Organizations because of its fatal effects on public health. In this present, cases of COVID-19 pandemic are exponentially increasing day by day in the whole world. Here, we are detecting the COVID-19 cases, i.e., confirmed, death, and cured cases in India only. We are performing this analysis based on the cases occurring in different states of India in chronological dates. Our dataset contains multiple classes so we are performing multi-class classification. On this dataset, first, we performed data cleansing and feature selection, then performed forecasting of all classes using random forest, linear model, support vector machine,decision tree, and neural network, where random forest model outperformed the others, therefore, the random forest is used for prediction and analysis of all the results. The k-fold cross-validation is performed to measure the consistency of the model.

A new approach to model viscosity in the conservation of momentum equations is presented and discussed. Coefficient of viscosity is modeled in such a way that it reaches asymptotically to infinity at the solid boundary but still yields a finite value for the shear stress at the solid wall. Basic objective of this research is to show that certain combinations of higher order normal velocity gradients become zero at the solid boundary. Malled solutions for the Couette flow and Poiseuille flow between two parallel plates are obtained by modeling the coefficient of viscosity in a novel way. Also, viscous drag computed by our model is expected to yield higher values than the values predicted by the existing models, which matches closely to the experimental data.

Age of the earliest transgressive event in the krishna-Godavari Basin, India: evidence from dinoflagellate cysts and planktonic foraminifera biostratigraphy

A combined biostratigraphic study of dinoflagellate cysts and foraminifera was carried out on Early Cretaceous subsurface well cutting sediments from well A(DNG)(2800–2746 m depth)from the krishna-Godavari Basin,*** last appearance datum of marker species of dinoflagellate cysts and planktonic foraminifera was considered for the construction of the biostratigraphic *** study shows dominance of Early Cretaceous marker dinoflagellate cysts Cassiculosphaeridia magna,Cribroperidinium perforans,Hystrichodinium voigtii,kleithriasphaeridium eoinodes,and planktonic foraminifera Hedbergella aptiana,Hedbergella mitra,Hedbergella praelippa,Hedbergella tardita,Microhedbergella miniglobularis and Hedbergella mitra *** addition to this,the dinoflagellate cyst data were compared with the dinoflagellate biozones of Austral and Tethyan *** on earlier micropalaeontological records from the krishna-Godavari Basin and the present study,a latest Barremian-early Aptian age has been determined for the earliest marine transgression in the krishna-Godavari *** early marine incursion during late Barremian-earliest Aptian in the krishna-Godavari Basin compared to Albian age in Cauvery Basin suggests the opening of east coast from north to south.
