Excellent magnetic properties in ferrites are required for high-frequency applications and for wastewater treatment. Thus, the present study shows the comparison of magnetic and structural properties of Nd and Sm substituted Ni-Zn-Bi ferrites with the series Ni_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)Bi_(0.04)Nd_(x)Fe_(1.96-x)O_4(with step size 0.002)and Ni_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)Bi_(0.04)Sm_(x)Fe_(1.96-x)O_4(with step size 0.02) prepared using citrate precursor method. The impact of the substitution of rare earth ions(Nd and Sm) on magnetic properties of the synthesized samples is observed using a vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM). The saturation magnetization values enhance considerably from 52 to 58 emu/g for Nd^(3+)ions and 39 to 57 emu/g for Sm^(3+) ions, thus, making these materials magnetically hard. Further, the higher value of coercivity is also observed ranging from133 to 167 Oe for Nd^(3+)ions and 81 to 155 Oe for Sm^(3+) ions. The shape of hysteresis loops indicates a super paramagnetic and ferromagnetic behavior in the obtained samples. The squareness ratio value isggesting the uniaxial anisotropy of particles and hence, these ferrites are suitable for microwaveabsorbing and in permanent magnetic materials. The X-ray diffraction(XRD) pattern shows the formation of pure cubic crystallites, where, lattice parameters range from 0.840 to 0.839 nm and from 0.838to 0.839 nm for Nd^(3+)and Sm^(3+) ions substitution, respectively. The crystallite size ranges between 28.63to 29.89 nm and 18.33 to 26.23 nm, for substitution of Nd^(3+)and Sm^(3+) ions, respectively. Field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM) shows the formation of homogeneous grains, whereas, energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS) counts describe the purity of the samples. The Sm concentration x = 0.10has the maximum surface area with value of 42.6 m^(2)/g which proves to be having good data storage application due to high surface area. ： Successful co-deposition of fine particulate matter within an Electroless Nickel-Phosphorous （ENi-P） matrix is dependent on various factors like bath composition, particle compatibility with metallic matrix, bath reactivity （pH）, particle size and their distribution. ENi-P deposits incorporating Al2O3/ Alumina in a disperse phase have varied effects on properties and attributes like surface roughness （Ra／ microhardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and surface morphology of the deposits obtained. This paper experimentally investigates the effect of alumina （1.55 g/L） on Ra, microhardness, surface morphology, deposition rate, wettability, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of ENi-P-Al2O3 composite deposits on mild steel substrates at bath pH 5, 7 and 9. Study reveals that optimum deposit parameters and deposition rates are achieved with bath pH. However, not much study has been undertaken concerning composite deposits obtained from higher bath pH or basic bath. This is attributable to the fact that at higher bath pH or alkaline baths, the bath gets unstable and eventually degrades or decomposes, thereby resulting in sub optimal or poor deposition. Hence, experimental investigations carried out by preparing suitable baths, operating under optimum conditions, and enabling successful composite deposition in acidic and alkaline baths have revealed that there is a significant improvement in the above mentioned properties of the as-deposited composite deposits, as the pH is increased from pH 5 to pH 9. This aspect can therefore be advantageously utilized for preparing various marine components like fasteners, nuts, bolts, washers, pipes, cables, components having relative motion etc.

We recorded 8 genera and over 30 species of bamboo in Sikkim of the reported 23 genera and 125 species in Indi＆ Thirty percent of bamboo species were recorded in tropical forests （0-900 m）, 40% of species in sub-tropical forests （900-1,800 m）, 17% of species in temper- ate forests （1,800-2,700 m）, 9% of species in sub-alpine forests （2,700-3,500 m） and 4% of species in alpine vegetation （3,500-4,500 m）. Bamboo is used for various purposes and its versatility qualifies it to be a multiple-use alternative to timber, food for villagers and for tribal in particular. Bamboo is also equally important to Red Panda （Ailurusful- gens）, the state animal of Sikkim. We develop a list of bamboos occur- ring in Sikkim with their vernacular names, distributions and uses in the Himalayan state. However, more extensive study is required to fully describe the bamboo diversity of the Himalayan state.

Partial shading is a common phenomenon in PV arrays. They drastically reduce the power output because of mismatch losses, which are reliant on the shape of the shade as well as the locations of shaded panels in the array. The power output can be improved by distributing the shade over various rows to maximize the current entering the node. A Su-Do-Ku configuration can be used to rearrange the physical locations of the PV modules in a total cross tied PV array with the electrical connections left unchanged. However, this arrangement increases the length of the wire required to interconnect the panels thus increasing the line losses. In this paper, an improved Su-Do-Ku arrangement that reduces the length of the wire required for the connection is proposed. The system is designed and simulated in a Matlab/Simulink environment for various shading patterns and the efficacies of various arrangements are compared. The results prove that the power output is higher in the proposed improved Su-Do- Ku reconfiguration technique compared to the earlier proposed Su-Do-Ku technique.

We investigated some Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker(FLRW)cosmological models in the context of metric-affine F(R,Q)gravity,as proposed in[arXiv:1205.5266v6].Here,R and Q are the curvature and nonmetricity scalars using non-special connections,*** obtained the modified field equations using a flat FLRW *** then found a connection between the Hubble constant H_(0),density parameter Ω_(m0),and other model parameters in two different situations involving scalars u and ***,we used new observational datasets,such as the cosmic chronometer(CC)Hubble and Pantheon SNe Ia datasets,to determine the optimal model parameter values through a Markov chain Monte Carlo(MCMC)*** these best-fit values of the model parameters,we discussed the results and behavior of the derived ***,we discussed the Akaike information criterion(AIC)and Bayesian information criterion(BIC)for the derived models in the context of the Lambda cold dark matter(ΛCDM).We found that the geometrical sector dark equation of state parameter ω_(de)behaves just like a dark energy *** also found that both models are transit phase ***-Ⅰ approaches the ΛCDM model in the late-time universe,whereas Model-Ⅱ approaches quintessence scenarios.
