In this paper,Health-related quality of life has not been adequately measured in bladder cancer.A recently developed reliable and disease-specific quality of life instrument(Bladder Cancer Index,RCI)was used to *** type Ⅱ censoring schemes have potential usefulness in practice where budget constraints in place or there is a necessity for the speedy *** test the process capability,the lifetime performance index Cl is widely recommended for evaluating the performance of the producfs lifetime and evaluating the lifetime performance index GL for the three-parameter Weighted-Lomax distribution(WLx)under progressive type-II censoring sample for a lower specification limit(L).The statistical inference concerning CL is conducted via obtaining the maximum likelihood of Cl on the base of progressive type-II *** asymptotic normal distribution of the MLE of CL and the confidence interval is ***,the hypothesis testing of CL for evaluating the lifetime performance of WLx data is ***,assuming the conjugate prior distribution and squared error loss function,this study constructs a Bayes estimator of *** Bayes estimator of CL is then utilized to develop a credible interval in the condition of known ***,we propose a Bayesian test to assess the lifetime performance of *** also propose a Bayesian test to assess the lifetime performance of ***,two examples are given,one of them is considering a real life data of the remission times of bladder cancer patients in endurance lifetime test and the other is a simulated example to illustrate the usage of the proposed procedure.

Metabolic syndrome(MeS)is a major health problem associated with the high prevalence of obesity,diabetes,hypertension and *** serrata resin(BS)is an old remedy reputed by its rich antioxidant *** present research aimed to assess the impact of microencapsulated BS if given in combination with probiotic bacteria(BAC)(Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus rhamnosus)which had anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities to control the metabolic disorders associated with *** extract of BS was prepared,total phenolic,total antioxidants and HPLC were *** extract was microencapsulated by spray drier and the microcapsules were *** were suspended in MRS,cultivated and microencapsulated by freeze *** were randomly assigned to 5 groups(8/gp).The 1st group was negative control receiving basic diet(C),the 2nd group was positive control fed on HFD,the 3rd group was fed on HFD+BS(400 mg/kg),the 4th group was fed on HFD+BAC(1 ml containing 1011 CFU),the 5th group was fed on HFD+BS+*** 8 weeks animals were sacrificed,the collected serum was analyzed for different biochemical *** body organs and body fat weights were estimated and histopathological and immunohistochemical examinations were *** showed the ability of BS in controlling most of the parameters related to MeS and improvement of histopathology findings in *** and BAC acted in synergy in this *** conclusion,microencapsulated BS or its combination with Probiotic bacteria may control MeS and both acted as symbiotic in augmenting the improvement of MeS intact model.

In this paper, a new method for adding parameters to a well-established distribution to obtain more flexible new families of distributions is applied to the inverse Lomax distribution (IFD). This method is known by the flexible reduced logarithmic-X family of distribution (FRL-X). The proposed distribution can be called a flexible reduced logarithmic-inverse Lomax distribution (FRL-IL). The statistical and reliability properties of the proposed models are studied including moments, order statistics, moment generating function, and quantile function. The estimation of the model parameters by maximum likelihood and the observed information matrix are also discussed. In order to assess the potential of the newly created distribution. The extended model is applied to real data and the results are given and compared to other models.

In this paper, we derived a new distribution named as truncated Weibull Rayleigh (TW-R) distribution. Its characterization and statistical properties are obtained, such as reliability function, hazard function, reversed hazard rate function, cumulative hazard rate function, quantile function, rth moment, incomplete moments, Rényi and q entropies and order statistic. Parameter estimation is implemented using method of maximum-likelihood estimation and Fisher information matrix is derived. Finally, application of the presented new distribution to a real data representing the failure times of 63 airbcraft Windshield is given and its goodness-of-fit is demonstrated. In addition to, comparisons to other models are implemented to show the flexibility of the presented model.

Objective: This study investigated cytotoxicity and induction of apoptosis in human cervical cancer cells(HELA) and prostate cancer cells(PC-3) using the most active fraction of Moringa peregrina seed ***: Dried and powdered seeds were extracted using 95% ethanol. The total ethanolic extract was further dissolved in distilled water and separated into petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate and aqueous extracts. Based on the results of in vitro anticancer studies of all extracts, the most highly active extract was selected for evaluation of apoptosis induction and cell cycle analysis on HELA and PC-3 cells at its half maximal inhibitory concentration using flow cytometry;DNA fragmentation by agarose gel electrophoresis and the expression of protein were measured by Western ***: The chloroform fraction from the ethanolic extract of M. peregrina(CFEE) was the most active antitumor fraction. The selectivity index, determined using the normal Vero cell line, indicated that CFEE had a high degree of selectivity against HELA and PC-3 cells. CFEE induced apoptosis, confirmed by cell cycle arrest at sub-G0 phase and DNA fragmentation. CFEE induced an increase in mRNA expression of caspase-3, a decrease in Bcl-2 mRNA expression, and decreased ATP levels. CFEE increased protein expression of caspase-3 and decreased protein expression of poly-ADP-ribose polymerase-1(PARP-1).Flow cytometric analysis showed an appreciable increase in the number of cells in the early apoptotic stage in CFEE-treated HELA and PC-3 cells. CFEE treatment significantly increased lipid peroxidation(malondialdehyde level) in HELA and PC-3 ***: Seed extract of M. peregrina displayed a significant antitumor effect through apoptosis induction in HELA and PC-3 cells.
