In the last 20 years,the built-up areas of Europe have increased by 20%,while the population increased by 6% *** the fact that urban sprawl occurs when the rate of land-use conversion exceeds the rate of population growth,we can now talk about the existence of urban sprawl in *** Bulgaria,during the period 2004-2012,the developers’interest in agricultural and forest lands located outside the development zones of different settlements increased in parallel with the construction development of urban areas,mainly around larger towns,resort and holiday *** low price of agricultural lands can be seen as one of the main reasons in this *** issues of the utilization of agricultural lands,their conversion into urban(construction)lands,and zoning have been defined by a number of national and local legal acts,which were passed and subsequently renewed/modified in a more recent *** main act regulating the spatial planning and construction on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria is the SPA(Spatial Planning Act).The ALPA(Agricultural Land Protection Act)and its corresponding regulations provide an appropriate legal basis for the protection of agricultural lands and their ***,as different acts and regulations concerning issues related to the conversion of agricultural,forest,and protected areas are not in conflict,they may be said to have been *** are,however,some points which leave possibilities for uncontrolled urban growth.

Background:In this study we examined the habitat preferences of three diurnal raptors in relation to human *** aimed to identify the selection of breeding habitat by the Golden Eagle(Aquila chrysaetos),the Long-legged Buz-zard(Buteo rufinus),and the Peregrine Falcon(Falco peregrinus)in response to site accessibility by humans,and in turn,the response of these species to human ***:Data about the nest locations were *** and maps were created using ***“least cost path”was defined using the Cost Path ***:The lowest values of the Cost Path were established for Long-legged Buzzard and the highest values were estimated for Golden *** Cost Path values for Peregrine Falcon were ***:The Long-legged Buzzard could be considered as the most tolerant to human presence in its breeding *** Golden Eagle have the lowest degree of tolerance and the Peregrine Falcon is ranked in an intermedi-ate position compared to the other two species,but closer to Golden Eagle.

The mechanics and swelling kinetics of polymeric microgels are simulated using a mesoscale computational model based on dissipative particle dynamics. Microgels are represented by a random elastic network submerged in an explicit viscous solvent. The model is used to probe the effect of different solvent conditions on the bulk modulus of the microgels. Comparison of the simulation results through the volume phase transition reveals favorable agreement with Flory-Rehner＇s theory for polymeric gels. The model is also used to examine the microgel swelling kinetics, and is found to be in good agreement with Tanaka＇s theory for spherical gels. The simulations show that, during the swelling process, the microgel maintains a nearly homogeneous structure, whereas deswelling is characterized by the formation of chain bundles and network coarsening.

Al2-xMex(WO4)3, (Me is Sc or In;x varies from 0 to 2) ceramics are sintered by two methods: 1) cold pressing with subsequent sintering at different temperatures and durations and 2) hot pressure sintering. The row materials are nanoparticles with average particle size of 20, 90 and 200 nm obtained by co-precipitation method. Density, particle size and anisometricity of the obtained ceramics are tested. The results show that optimal initial nanosized dimensions and optimal pressing conditions are needed to obtain compact ceramics. The hot pressure method provides possibilities for obtaining ceramics with a density of about 99.8%. These ceramics possess some level of transparency.

Over the past several decades video games have experienced a boom in popularity that has made them one of the entertainment industries with the highest *** the widespread influence of the internet,video games have spread out to a variety of countries and become carriers of the culture of their country of *** entry into a foreign market has forced video game developers to adapt the content of their game,both culturally and linguistically to the target country in order to achieve improved financial *** study analyses the prior academic research and hypothesises that several factors are vital to a game’s financial success in the Chinese *** performs a study with a mixed research method of quantitative and qualitative design into the case of Riot Games’ MOBA title-League of Legends and the perceptions of Chinese players of the game’s performance according to the factors theorised in the theoretical framework to be positively correlated with financial *** conclude,this study finds out that among the five hypothesised factors influencing a company’s success in the Chinese market,the Free-to-Play model,an eSports-centric strategy and cultural adaptation are the most impactful on the game’s perception among Chinese audiences and have the highest potential to improve the game’s performance.

An important trend in extreme ultraviolet and soft X-ray free-electron laser(FEL)development in recent years has been the use of seeding by an external laser,aimed to improve the coherence and stability of the generated *** highgain harmonic generation seeding technique was first implemented at FERMI and provided FEL radiation with high coherence as well as intensity and wavelength stability comparable to table-top ultrafast *** FERMI,the seed laser has another very important function:it is the source of external laser pulses used in pump–probe experiments allowing one to achieve a record-low timing *** paper describes the design,performance and operational modes of the FERMI seed laser in both single-and double-cascade *** addition,the planned upgrade of the system to meet the challenges of the upgrade to echo-enabled harmonic generation mode is presented.
