Bioinspired Rotation Microneedles for Accurate Transdermal Positioning and Ultraminimal-Invasive Biomarker Detection with Mechanical Robustness

Microneedle permits transdermal biosensing and drug delivery with minor ***,accurate microneedle transdermal positioning with minimal skin deformation remains a significant technical challenge due to inhomogeneous skin topology and discontinuous force applied to the ***,we introduce bioinspired rotation microneedles for in vivo accurate microneedle positioning as inspired by honeybees’*** demonstrate the benefits of rotation microneedles in alleviating skin resistance through finite element analysis,full-thickness porcine validations,and mathematical derivations of microneedleskin interaction stress *** max penetration force was mitigated by up to 45.7%and the force attenuation rate increased to 2.73 times in the holding stage after penetration.A decrease in max skin deflection and a faster deformation recovery introduced by rotation microneedles implied a more precise penetration ***,we applied the rotation microneedles in psoriasis mice,a monogenic disorder animal model,for minimally invasive biological sample extraction and proinflammatory cytokine *** ultrasensitive detection method is realized by using only one microneedle to achieve cytokine mRNA level determination compared to commonly required biopsies or blood ***,rotation microneedles permit a simple,rapid,and ultraminimal-invasive method for subcutaneous trace biological sample acquisition and subsequent point-of-care diagnostics with minimal damage to both microneedles and skins.

To improve the stability of a wind-diesel hybrid microgrid,a frequency control strategy is designed by using the hybrid energy storage system and the adjustable diesel generator with load frequency control(LFC).The objective of frequency control is to quickly respond to the disturbed system to reduce system frequency deviation and restore *** evaluating the area control error,the disturbance state of the system can be divided into four different areas by a corresponding control strategy for precise *** the diesel generator,an adaptive sliding mode(SM)algorithm is used to design LFC that can participate in frequency *** frequency coordination con-trol strategy proposed in this paper can realize the partition adjustment according to different resources,and ensure frequency *** proposed control strategy is verified by RTDS simulations in multiple scenarios.

The study on ship wakes of synthetic aperture radar(SAR)images holds great importance in detecting ship targets in the *** this study,we focus on the issues of low quantity and insufficient diversity in ship wakes of SAR images,and propose a method of data augmentation of ship wakes in SAR images based on the improved cycle-consistent generative adversarial network(CycleGAN).The improvement measures mainly include two aspects:First,to enhance the quality of the generated images and guarantee a stable training process of the model,the least-squares loss is employed as the adversarial loss function;Second,the decoder of the generator is augmented with the convolutional block attention module(CBAM)to address the issue of missing details in the generated ship wakes of SAR images at the microscopic *** experiment findings indicate that the improved CycleGAN model generates clearer ship wakes of SAR images,and outperforms the traditional CycleGAN models in both subjective and objective aspects.

The process of adsorption of Cu^2+ Cd^2+ by immobilized marine algae was investigated, it can be noted from the results that, the process for biosorption of heavy metals (copper, cadmium) by immobilized Laminaria japonica can be described by the Banerm model. According to the model, the adsorption rate constant calculated was 0.107 8 and 0.030 28 min^-1 for Cu^2+ and Cd^2+ respectively. The experimental biosorption equilibrium data for Cu^2+ and Cd^2+ were in good agreement with those calculated by the Langmuir model. The maximum uptake capacity calculated was 83.3 and 112.4 mg/g for Cu^2+ and Cd^2+ according to the Langmuir model, respectively. The appetency of Laminaria japonica to Cu^2+ was better than Cd^2+.

Norepinephrine transporter （NET） transfection leads to significant uptake of iodine-131-labeled metaiodobenzylguanidine （^131I-MIBG） in non-neuroendocrine tumors. However, the use of ^131I-MIBG is limited by its short retention time in target cells. To prolong the retention of ^131I-MIBG in target cells, we infected hepatocarcinoma （HepG2） cells with Lentivirus-encoding human NET and vesicular monoamine transporter 2 （VMAT2） genes to obtain NET-expressing, NET-VMAT2-coexpressing, and negative-control cell lines. We evaluated the uptake and efflux of 131I-MIBG both in vitro and in vivo in mice bearing transfected tumors. NET- expressing and NET-VMAT2-coexpressing cells respectively showed 2.24 and 2.22 times higher ^131I-MIBG uptake than controls. Two hours after removal of ^131I-MIBG-containing medium, 25.4% efflux was observed in NET- VMAT2-coexpressing cells and 38.6% in NET-expressing cells. In vivo experiments were performed in nude mice bearing transfected tumors; results revealed that NET-VMAT2-coexpressing tumors had longer ^131I-MIBG retention time than NET-expressing tumors. Meanwhile, NET-VMAT2-coexpressing and NET-expressing tumors displayed 0.54% and 0.19%, respectively, of the injected dose per gram of tissue 24 h after ^131I-MIBG administration. Cotransfection of HepG2 cells with NET and VMAT2 resulted in increased ^131I-MIBG uptake and retention. However, the degree of increase was insufficient to be therapeutically effective in target cells.

Buyang Huanwu Decoction （BYHWD） is a well-known traditional Chinese medicine prescription which is used to treat ischaemic stroke and stroke-induced disabilities. However, the exact mechanism underlying BYHWD＇s amelioration of ischaemic stroke and its effective constituents remain unclear. The present study aimed to identify the effective constituents of BYHWD and to further explore its action mechanisms in the amelioration of ischaemic stroke by testing the activities of 15 absorbable chemical constituents of BYHWD with the same methods under the same conditions. The following actions of these 15 compounds were revealed： 1） Ferulic acid, calycosin, formononetin, astrapterocarpan-3-O-β-D-glucoside, paeonol, calycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside, astraisofla- van-7-O-β-D-glucoside, ligustrazine, and propyl gallate significantly suppressed concanavalin A （Con A）-induced T lymphocyte proliferation; 2） Propyl gallate, calycosin-7-O-β-D-glucoside, paeonol, and ferulic acid markedly inhibited LPS-induced apoptosis in RAW264.7 cells; 3） Propyl gallate and formononetin significantly inhibited LPS-induced NO release; 4） Hydroxysaffior yellow A and inosine protected PC12 cells against the injuries caused by glutamate; and 5） Formononetin, astragaloside IV, astraisofiavan-7-O-β-D- glucoside, inosine, paeoniflorin, ononin, paeonol, propyl gallate, ligustrazine, and ferulic acid significantly suppressed the constriction of the thoracic aorta induced by KCI in rats. In conclusion, the results from the present study suggest that BYHWD exerts its ischaemic stroke ameliorating activities by modulating multiple targets with multiple components.

In the field of natural language processing(NLP),there have been various pre-training language models in recent years,with question answering systems gaining significant ***,as algorithms,data,and computing power advance,the issue of increasingly larger models and a growing number of parameters has ***,model training has become more costly and less *** enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the training process while reducing themodel volume,this paper proposes a first-order pruningmodel PAL-BERT based on the ALBERT model according to the characteristics of question-answering(QA)system and language ***,a first-order network pruning method based on the ALBERT model is designed,and the PAL-BERT model is ***,the parameter optimization strategy of the PAL-BERT model is formulated,and the Mish function was used as an activation function instead of ReLU to improve the ***,after comparison experiments with traditional deep learning models TextCNN and BiLSTM,it is confirmed that PALBERT is a pruning model compression method that can significantly reduce training time and optimize training *** with traditional models,PAL-BERT significantly improves the NLP task’s performance.

Impacts of land use and planning on island ecosystem service values: a case study of dinghai district on Zhoushan Archipelago, China

Recently designated as a new special economic zone in China,Zhoushan Archipelago is going through a rapid land use change that is expected to have significant impacts on ecosystem ***,there is no baseline of ecosystem service value(ESV)of the Zhoushan Archipelago up to date,making it impossible to assess any impacts of land use *** this study,we adopted the concept of“equivalent value per unit area of ecosystem services in China”and computed the ESV for 2006,2012,and 2020 of a representative district,dinghai,on the Zhoushan *** then analyzed the spatial and temporal patterns of land use changes and their impacts on *** results indicated that the ESV of dinghai district declined by 59.3 M Chinese yuan($9.5 M US dollars)from 2006 to 2012 and would further decrease by an additional 30.9 M yuan($5 M US dollars)by 2020 according to its planned land *** declines in ESV were primarily due to increases in buildup areas and losses in wetland,farmland,and water *** results imply that more attention should be paid to controlling urban growth and protecting coastal wetlands in order to preserve valuable ecosystem services of the Archipelago.

The stabilization problem of nonlinear differential inclusion(Ndi)systems with disturbances is dealt with in this ***,based on the convex hull Lyapunov function(CHLF)approach,a continuous state feedback law is designed,which can globally asymptotically stabilize this kind of systems without ***,by the state feedback,the reachable set under two classes of bounded disturbances is achieved ***,a numerical example is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design technique.
