Drought, high salt and cold are three different kinds of environment stresses that severely influence the growth, development and productivity of crops. They all decrease the water state of plant cells, and consequently result in the harm of plant from water deficit. Several genes encoding protein kinases and induced by drought, high salt and low temperature have been isolated from Arabidopsis. These protein kinases include receptor protein kinase (RPK), MAP kinases, ribosomal-protein kinases and transcription-regulation protein kinase. The expression features of these genes and the regulatory roles of these protein kinases in stress response and signal transduction are discussed.

The axial magnetic force, induced by the complicated flux linkage distribution from rotor magnet and stator slotted, is constructed by different relative heights and calculated by 3D finite element method (FEM) to analyze the dynamic characteristics for a DVD spindle motor. The axial magnetic force is designed to provide an axial stiffness, and govern the natural frequency of the dynamic performance. According to the simulation results and experimental measurements, the dynamic behaviors are significantly improved with a variation of relative height of rotor magnet and stator slotted on a DVD spindle motor.

By analysis of the basic properties of entanglement swapping of high-dimensional Bell states,a universal and general deterministic secure quantum communication(DSQC)protocol is proposed,in which unitary operation is not *** making use of the results of high-dimensional Bell measurement,the sender and the receiver can encode and decode the message respectively by performing the modular addition and *** mutually complementary bases are constructed;and according to the property of mutual complement,a method for checking security of the high-dimensional quantum channel is put *** common attack strategies are analyzed,and the corresponding error rates are *** the upper bound of the threshold of error rate is deduced.

Milk epithelial mucin (MUC1) of yaks was separated by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. A total of nine types of MUC1 were revealed in 427 yaks from five yak breeds including Maiwa yak, Jiulong yak, Tianzhu white yak, Qinghai yak and Tibetan yak. The molecular weights of MUC1 are from 163 kD to 208 kD, most of which are larger than those of bovine. Population genetic analysis shows that the gene frequency and genotype frequency of yak MUC1 differ among breeds, with relatively high gene heterozygosity. The five yak breeds studied fall into two groups according to their milk MUC1 gene frequency, suggesting that milk MUC1 exhibits specificities for local yak groups.

This paper is concerned with the bounded value problems1/p（t）（p（t）u’）’+f（u）=0, t>0, u’（0）=0, lim t→+∞ u（t）=0,where f（0）=0. Such problems arise in the study of semi-linear elliptic differential equa-tions in Rn. It is shown that the problem has at most one positive solution under appro-priate conditions on f and p. Our result can include the important case that p（t）=fn-1and f（u）=uP-u, where n>1, p>1 are some given constants.

Using a small quantity of DNA molecules and little experimental time to solve complex problems successfully is a goal of DNA computing. Some NP-hard problems have been solved by DNA computing with lower time complexity than conventional computing. However, this advantage often brings higher space complexity and needs a large number of DNA encoding molecules. One example is graph coloring problem. Current DNA algorithms need exponentially increasing DNA encoding strands with the growing of problem size. Here we propose a new DNA algorithm of graph coloring problem based on the proof of four-color theorem. This algorithm has good properties of needing a relatively small number of operations in polynomial time and needing a small number of DNA encoding molecules (we need only 6R DNA encoding molecules if the number of regions in a graph is R).

Based on experimental data, the mathematical model of rolling force parameters of 3-roll mills was studied. The structure ofthe model was theoretically set up and the coefficients were determined by static analysis of the data. The torque in continuous rollingwas measured, and the characteristics and efficiency of 3-roll mills are investigated.

With emphasizing that the integration of autonomy and coordination is the basis for constructing multi-agent systems (MAS), we analyze the organizational characters inherent with MAS and point out that it′s a natural and essential way to construct MAS based on organization theory. We consider that the emphasis of the theory is the process of system analyzing. Then we present an analysis frame to expound the process, which includes the process of organization definition, the process of role definition, the process of organizational structure definition and the process of interaction protocol definition. Lastly, we discuss some issues associated with the processes of system design and implementation.
