Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have attracted considerable interest as an alternative to lithium-ion batteries owing to their similar electrochemical performance and superior long-term cycle *** materials are regarded as promising anode materials for constructing SIBs with high capacity and good ***,utilization of organic materials is rather limited by their low energy density and poor stability at high current *** overcome these limitations,we utilized a novel polymeric disodium phthalocyanines(pNapc)as SIB anodes to provide stable coordination sites for Na ions as well as to enhance the stability at high current *** varying the linker type during a one-pot cyclization and polymerization process,two pNapc anodes with O-(O-pNapc)and S-linkers(S-pNapc)were prepared,and their structural and electrochemical properties were *** O-pNapc binds Na ions with a lower binding energy compared with S-pNapc,which leads to more facile Na-ion coordination/dissociation when engaged as SIB *** use of O-pNapc significantly improves the redox kinetics and cycle stability and allows the fabrication of a full cell against Na_(3)V_(2)(pO_(4))_(2)F_(3)/C cathode,which demonstrates its practical application with high energy density(288 Wh kg^(-1))and high power density(149 W kg^(-1)).

photodynamic therapy（pDT） has emerged as a clinical modality for treatment of certain localized and superficial cancers [1].It requires a photosensitive drug,light of specific wavelength,and molecular oxygen to induce a series of photochemical reactions,leading to the formation of cytotoxic reactive oxygen species（ROS）.These ROS destroy tumors by multifactorial mechanisms,including killing malignant cells by apoptosis and/or necrosis,shutting down the tumor vasculature,and stimulating the host immune system [2].With a view to improving the therapeutic outcome,various strategies have been explored to enhance the ROS generation efficiency and tumor selectivity of the *** address the latter aspect,conjugation to tumor-specific vehicles [3] and encapsulation in colloidal nanocarriers [4] are two common ***,"smart" photosensitizing systems that can be activated by tumor-associated stimuli have received considerable attention [5],which can overcome the drawback of nonspecific photodamage in *** this presentation,we will showcase our endeavor along these strategies in advancing phthalocyanine-based theranostic agents for cancer imaging and *** molecular design,synthesis,photophysical properties,as well as in vitro and in vivo biological response of these systems will be reported and discussed.

Sequential Latin hypercube designs(SLHDs) have recently received great attention for computer experiments, with much of the research restricted to invariant spaces. The related systematic construction methods are inflexible, and algorithmic methods are ineffective for large designs. For designs in contracting spaces, systematic construction methods have not been investigated yet. This paper proposes a new method for constructing SLHDs via good lattice point sets in various experimental spaces. These designs are called sequential good lattice point(SGLp) sets. Moreover, we provide efficient approaches for identifying the(nearly)optimal SGLp sets under a given criterion. Combining the linear level permutation technique, we obtain a class of asymptotically optimal SLHDs in invariant spaces, where the L1-distance in each stage is either optimal or asymptotically optimal. Numerical results demonstrate that the SGLp set has a better space-filling property than the existing SLHDs in invariant spaces. It is also shown that SGLp sets have less computational complexity and more adaptability.

The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)in 2019 prompted scientific,medical,and biotech communities to investigate infection-and vaccine-induced immune responses in the context of this pathogen.B-cell and antibody responses are at the center of these investigations,as neutralizing antibodies(nAbs)are an important correlate of protection(COp)from infection and the primary target of SARS-CoV-2 vaccine *** addition to absolute levels,nAb longevity,neutralization breadth,immunoglobulin isotype and subtype composition,and presence at mucosal sites have become important topics for scientists and health policy *** recent pandemic was and still is a unique setting in which to study de novo and memory B-cell(MBC)and antibody responses in the dynamic interplay of infection-and vaccine-induced *** also provided an opportunity to explore new vaccine platforms,such as mRNA or adenoviral vector vaccines,in unprecedented cohort *** with the technological advances of recent years,this situation has provided detailed mechanistic insights into the development of B-cell and antibody responses but also revealed some unexpected *** this review,we summarize the key findings of the last 2.5 years regarding infection-and vaccine-induced B-cell immunity,which we believe are of significant value not only in the context of SARS-CoV-2 but also for future vaccination approaches in endemic and pandemic settings.

In a one-way analysis-of-variance(ANOVA) model, the number of pairwise comparisons can become large even with a moderate number of groups. Motivated by this, we consider a regime with a growing number of groups and prove that, when testing pairwise comparisons, the Benjamini-Hochberg(BH) procedure can asymptotically control false discoveries, despite the fact that the involved t-statistics do not exhibit the wellknown positive dependence structure required for exact false discovery rate(FDR) control. Following Tukey's perspective that the difference between the means of any two groups cannot be exactly zero, our main result provides control over the directional false discovery rate and directional false discovery proportion. A key technical contribution of our work is demonstrating that the dependence among the t-statistics is sufficiently weak to establish the convergence result typically required for asymptotic FDR control. Our analysis does not rely on conventional assumptions such as normality, variance homogeneity, or a balanced design, thereby offering a theoretical foundation for applications in more general settings.
