The curative effect of CO2 laser in treatment of glottic carcinoma has been focused on for a long time. The oncologic results were based on the comparison with conventional methods, survival rate and laryngeal function outcome. Data in the past literature produced convincing evidence that endoscopic surgery with CO2 laser can be considered as a valid alternative to radiotherapy and open neck surgery （larynfissure cordectomy, vertical partial laryngectomy, etc）.

Background It is believed that defects in upper airway neuromuscular control play a role in sleep apnea pathogenesis. Currently, there is no simple and non-invasive method for evaluating neuromuscular activity for the purpose of screening in patients with obstructive sleep apnea. This study was designed to assess the validity of chin surface electromyography of routine polysomnography in evaluating the neuromuscular activity of obstructive sleep apnea subjects and probe the neuromuscular contribution in the pathogenesis of the condition. Methods The chin surface electromyography of routine polysomnography during normal breathing and obstructive apnea were quantified in 36 male patients with obstructive sleep apnea. The change of chin surface electromyography from normal breathing to obstructive apnea was expressed as the percent compensated electromyography value, where the percent compensated electromyography value = （normal breath surface electromyography - apnea surface electromyography）/normal breath surface electromyography, and the percent compensated electromyography values among subjects were compared. The relationship between sleep apnea related parameters and the percent compensated electromyography value was examined. Results The percent compensated electromyography value of the subjects varied from 1% to 90% and had a significant positive correlation with apnea hypopnea index （R2=0.382, P 〈0.001）. Conclusions Recording and analyzing chin surface electromyography by routine polysomnography is a valid way of screening the neuromuscular activity in patients with obstructive sleep apnea. The neuromuscular contribution is different among subjects with obstructive sleep apnea.

In this paper, we explore state-based potential games using the semi-tensor product of ***, applying the potential equation, we derive both a necessary and sufficient condition as well as a sufficient condition to verify whether a state-based game qualifies as a potential game. Next, we present two static equivalence conditions of state-based potential games. We then delve into dynamic equivalence. We propose a criterion that allows us to identify state-based games that are dynamically equivalent to state-based potential games and share similar dynamic properties. Ultimately, we introduce the concept of state-based networked evolutionary games. We provide a necessary and sufficient condition to ensure that a state-based networked evolutionary game can be classified as a state-based potential game.

A high-temperature reduction roasting method was used to achieve metallic iron and zinc recovery from blast furnace gas ash(BFA).The reduction processes for Zn-containing and Fe-containing oxides were analyzed in detail by using ther-modynamic equilibrium calculation and the principle of minimum free *** results showed that the main reaction in the system is the reduction of ZnFe_(2)_(4)and iron *** the full temperature range,iron oxides were more easily reduced than zinc *** of the amount of CO contained in the system,the reduction of ZnO to Zn was difficult to proceed below the boiling point(906℃)of *** the reduction temperature is below 906℃,the reduction process of zinc ferrate was ZnFe_(2)_(4)→ZnO;when the reduction temperature is above 906℃,its reduction process becomed ZnFe_(2)_(4)→ZnO→Zn(g).The metallization and dezincification rates of the BFA gradually increased with increasing reaction *** the C/O ratio increased,the metallization and dezincification rates first increased and then *** effect of reduction time on BFA reduction was similar to that of reaction temperature.

The taiga vegetation in Western Siberia has been seriously threatened by climate warming in recent ***,how vegetation in different growing states and climate conditions responds to climate changes differently is still *** we explore the vegetation activity trends in Western Siberia taiga forests using the annual rate of change in leaf area index(LAI)during 1982–2018 so as to answer two questions:(1)how did climate warming affect taiga vegetation activity in the recent last decades?(2)Did the growing state of taiga forest affect its response to climate warming?Our results revealed that climate warming promoted taiga vegetation activity in Western Siberia before ***,continuous warming caused excessive evapotranspiration and led to decreased vegetation activity after ***,the intensity of vegetation growth response to warming was positively related to canopy height and LAI,indicating that both the positive and negative effects of warming were more significant in taiga forests in better growing *** these forests generally have higher productivity and play more important roles in ecosystem functioning(e.g.,carbon sink and biodiversity conservation),our results highlight their vulnerability to future climate change that need more research attention.

The accurate and efficient analysis of anisotropic heat conduction problems in complex composites is crucial for structural design and performance evaluation. Traditional numerical methods, such as the finite element method(FEM), often face a trade-off between calculation accuracy and efficiency. In this paper, we propose a quasi-smooth manifold element(QSME) method to address this challenge, and provide the accurate and efficient analysis of two-dimensional(2D) anisotropic heat conduction problems in composites with complex geometry. The QSME approach achieves high calculation precision by a high-order local approximation that ensures the first-order derivative *** results demonstrate that the QSME method is robust and stable, offering both high accuracy and efficiency in the heat conduction analysis. With the same degrees of freedom(DOFs), the QSME method can achieve at least an order of magnitude higher calculation accuracy than the traditional FEM. Additionally, under the same level of calculation error, the QSME method requires 10 times fewer DOFs than the traditional FEM. The versatility of the proposed QSME method extends beyond anisotropic heat conduction problems in complex composites. The proposed QSME method can also be applied to other problems, including fluid flows, mechanical analyses, and other multi-field coupled problems, providing accurate and efficient numerical simulations.

This paper proposes an electromagnetic coil topology and its control strategy,which can be incorporated into the electromagnetic docking device to achieve relative pose control in satellite *** target satellite has a main coil;the chaser satellite possesses a main coil of the same size accompanied by six and four evenly arranged secondary coils inside and outside the main coil,*** coil on the target satellite is DC energized,while the currents in the coils of the chaser satellite are *** remove the coupling between the pitch/yaw torque and translational force,the internal and external secondary coils of the chaser satellite interact with the main coil of the target satellite to perform the control of relative pitch/yaw and relative translation,respectively,so relative pose control can be *** torque and force vectors exerted by the secondary coils of the chaser satellite are synthesized onto the pitch and yaw axes of the body *** to their spatial composition relationship,the formulas are proposed,which obtain the magnetic moment vectors of the coils from the set torques and *** controllers regulating pitch/yaw,translation,and distance utilize a three-loop cascaded structure that consists of an outer position loop,a middle velocity loop and an inner current *** control strategy is verified by dynamics simulation.
