Inhomogeneous lithium-ion （Li+） deposition is one of the most crucial problems,which severely deteriorates the performance of solid'State lithium metal batteries （LMBs）.Herein,we discovered that covalent organic framework （COF-1） with periodically arranged boron-oxygen dipole lithiophilic sites could directionally guide Li+even deposition in asymmetric solid polymer electrolytes.

Two allyldimethylalkyl quaternary ammonium salt(AQAS)monomers,N,N-dimethylallylphenylpropylammonium bromide(AQAS1)and N,N-dimethylallylnonylammonium bromide(AQAS2),were synthesized and used to prepare modified polyacrylamide *** new drag reducers were synthesized from acrylamide(AM),sodium acrylate(Na AA)and a cationic modified monomer(AQAS1 or AQAS2)via aqueous solution polymerization,and the copolymers were named P(AM/Na AA/AQAS1)and P(AM/Na AA/AQAS2),*** structures of the drag reduction agents were confirmed by IR and1H NMR *** molecular weight(Mw)of P(AM/Na AA/AQAS1)was 1.79×10^(6)g/*** the copolymer concentration was 1000 mg/L and the flow rate was 45 L/min,in fresh water the highest drag reduction rate was 75.8%,in 10,000 mg/L Na Cl solution the drag reduction rate decreased to 72.9%.The molecular weight of P(AM/Na AA/AQAS2)was 3.17×10^(6)g/*** the copolymer concentration was500 mg/L and the flow rate was 45 L/min,the drag reduction rate reached 75.2%,and in 10,000 mg/L Na Cl solution the drag reduction rate was 73.3%,decreased by approximately 1.9%.The drag reduction rate for partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide(HPAM)was also investigated,and the results showed that the drag reduction rates for 500 and 1000 mg/L HPAM solutions were merely 43.2%and 49.0%in brine,*** with HPAM,both of the above copolymers presented better drag reduction capacities.

Tuning Strong Metal-support Interactions(SMSI)is a key strategy to obtain highly active catalysts,but conventional methods usually enable TiO_(x) encapsulation of noble metal components to minimize the exposure of noble *** study demonstrates a catalyst preparation method to modulate a weak encapsulation of Pt metal nanoparticles(NPs)with the supported TiO_(2),achieving the moderate suppression of SMSI *** introduction of silica inhibits this encapsulation,as reflected in the characterization results such as XPS and HRTEM,while the Ti^(4+) to Ti^(3+) conversion due to SMSI can still be found on the support ***,the hydrogenation of cinnamaldehyde(CAL)as a probe reaction revealed that once this encapsulation behavior was suppressed,the adsorption capacity of the catalyst for small molecules like H_(2) and CO was enhanced,which thereby improved the catalytic activity and facilitated the hydrogenation of ***,the introduction of SiO_(2) also changed the surface structure of the catalyst,which inhibited the occurrence of the acetal reaction and improved the conversion efficiency of C=O and C=C *** manipulation of SMSI formation and its consequence on the performance in catalytic hydrogenation reactions are discussed.

developing hydroscopic actuators with simultaneous high elasticity,shape programmability and tunable actuating behaviors are highly desired but still *** this study,we propose an orthogonal composite design to develop such a *** developed composite elastomer comprises carboxyl group-grafted polystyrene-block-poly(ethylene-co-butylene)-block-polystyrene(SEBS-g-COOH)as the elastic substrate,and a synthesized azobenzene derivative as the functional filler(Azo12).By surface treatment using acidic and base solutions,the carboxyl groups on the surface can reversibly transform into carboxylate groups,which render the composite tunable hygroscopic actuating *** another aspect,the added filler undergoes trans-to-cis isomerization when exposed to UV light irradiation,leading to liquefaction of the crystalline aggregates formed by Azo12 *** liquefied Azo12 molecules can autonomously resotre their trans form and reform the crystalline *** reversible change in crystralline structure is utilized to realize the shape memory property,and 5 wt%of Azo12addition is adequate for the composite to exhibit photo-responsive shape memory behavior without compromising much of the *** regualtion of external geometry by shape memory effect is effective in altering the actuating *** proposed method can be extend to designing different composites with the demonstrated functionalities.

Influence of misting system on the thermal environment and thermal comfort of seated people in semi-outdoor space in xi’an,China

In summer,factors such as solar radiation could make semi-outdoor spaces uncomfortable,and the use of misting systems for evaporative cooling is a low-energy improvement *** investigate the impact of misting system on the thermal environment and thermal comfort of seated people improvement,a field study was conducted at a semi-outdoor cafeteria in xi’*** results indicated that the misting system was capable of reducing the ambient air temperature by 2.4-4.9℃and increasing the relative humidity by 17.1%-17.8%.Participants in misting condition reported lower thermal sensation and higher thermal acceptability,thermal preference,humidity sensation,humidity preference and humidity *** no misting condition,the upper SET*limit acceptable to 80%of the population was 28.5℃.However,in the misting condition,the acceptable percentage of participants in each SET)interval was more than 90%.When SET)was 22.1-23.7℃,the improvement in human thermal comfort through misting system was not *** SET)was 23.7-28.5℃,the misting system significantly improve human thermal ***,two control temperature thresholds of the misting system were provided according to the relationship between 80%,the maximum(89.3%)acceptable percentage and the air temperature,which were 30.1℃and 26.5℃,respectively.
