With the development of laser technologies,nuclear reactions can happen in high-temperature plasma environments induced by lasers and have attracted a lot of attention from different physical ***,studies on nuclear reactions in plasma are still limited by detecting *** is mainly due to the fact that extremely high electromagnetic pulses(EMPs)can also be induced when high-intensity lasers hit targets to induce plasma,and then cause dysfunction of many types of traditional ***,new particle detecting technologies are highly *** this paper,we report a recently developed gated fiber detector which can be used in harsh EMP *** this prototype detector,scintillating photons are coupled by fiber and then transferred to a gated photomultiplier tube which is located far away from the EMP source and shielded *** those measures,the EMPs can be avoided which may result that the device has the capability to identify a single event of nuclear reaction products generated in laser-induced plasma from noise EMP *** new type of detector can be widely used as a time-of-flight(TOF)detector in high-intensity laser nuclear physics experiments for detecting neutrons,photons,and other charged particles.

Objective: Optimal luteinizing hormone (LH) levels forin vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) patients following the gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonist protocol remain controversial. This study aimed to estimate the association between serum LH levels on the triggering day (LHLOT) and clinical pregnancy outcomes in IVF/ICSI patients following the GnRH antagonist ***: We enrolled 4743 IVF/ICSI cycles using flexible or fixed GnRH antagonist protocols between January 2017 and June 2021. The patients were stratified into four groups according to the LHLOT quartiles (Q1–Q4). Each group was further divided into two subgroups according to the median basal LH/LHLOT. The main outcomes were clinical pregnancy, birth, and miscarriage rates. Secondary outcomes were oocyte yield, number of MII, fertilized oocytes (2PN), and high-quality ***: Serum LHLOT levels were negatively correlated with oocyte yield and the numbers of MII, 2PN, and high-quality embryos. Reproductive outcomes were compared among the different quartiles and subgroups. The absolute difference in the clinical pregnancy rates between the Q4 and Q1 groups was 6.4% (47.2%vs. 40.8%,P 3.04 and ≤3.04 were 32.7% and 48.6% (P 2.14 and ≤2.14 were 50.2% and 41.9%, respectively (P decrease in LH levels, the lower the oocyte maturation rate across all ***: According to the LHLOT quartiles, the Q1 of serum LHLOT decrease in LH levels by approximately 2.14 to 3.04 times compared to basal LH levels may lead to higher clinical pregnancy rates in IVF/ICSI patients following the GnRH antagonist protocol.

despite the rapid advances of red and green perovskite light-emitting diodes（Pe LEDs）, achieving high brightness with high external quantum efficiency（EQE） remains a challenge for the pure-blue Pe LEDs,which greatly hinders their practical applications, such as white-light illumination and in optical communication as a high-speed and low-loss light source. Herein, we report a high-performance pure-blue Pe LED based on mixed-halide quasi-2D perovskites incorporated with a zwitterionic molecule of 3-（benzyldimethylammonio）propanesulfonate（3-BAS）. Experimental and density functional theory analysis reveals that 3-BAS can simultaneously eliminate non-radiative recombination loss, suppress halide migration, and regulate phase distribution for smoothing energy transfer in the mixed-halide quasi-2D perovskites, leading to the final perovskites with high photoluminescence quantum yield and robust spectrum stability. Thus, the highperformance pure-blue Pe LED with a recorded brightness with 1806 cd m;-2;and a relative higher EQE of 9.25% is achieved, which is successfully demonstrated in a visible light communication system for voice signal transmission. We pave the way for achieving highly efficient pure-blue Pe LEDs with great application potential in future optical communication networks.

The crystallization of chiral molecules is of great significance to understand the origin and evolution of hierarchical chirality and reveal the relationships between structural chirality and circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)***,we report two pairs of chiral metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)(DCF-17/LCF-17,DCF-18/LCF-18)by utilizing tetradentate ligands tetra(3-imidazoylphenyl)ethylene(TIPE)and 4,4'-[4',5'-bis[4-(4-pyridinyl)phenyl][1,1':2',1”-terphenyl]-4,4”-diyl]bis[pyridine](TPPP)as *** can be observed that the spontaneous resolution of the achiral ligands is converted into the induced resolution,and the ligands form the absolute configuration by using enantiopure camphoric acid(cam)as chiral induced reagent(CIR).As a result,the racemate MOFs can be driven to generate absolute homochiral *** two achiral MOFs[Cd(D-cam)(TPPP)_(0.5)](AF-1,AF=achiral framework)and[Cd(L-cam)(TPPP)_(0.5)](AF-2)were *** position disorder of D/L-cam skeleton causes the generation of nonchiralization,further leading to disappearance of symmetry breaking of *** the perspective of structure,this is the first report which reveals the chiral transfer and nonchiralization between chiral induced agents and tetradentate ***,DCF-17 and LCF-17 show CPL with luminescence dissymmetry factor(glum)of–1.0×10^(-2)and+9.2×10^(–3),*** work provides the useful evidences to reveal the induced chiral crystallization and the construction of CPL-active crystalline materials.

BACKGROUND Early adenocarcinoma mixed with a neuroendocrine carcinoma(NEC)component arising in the gastroesophageal junctional(GEJ)region is rare and even rarer in young ***,we report such a case in a 29-year-old Chinese *** SUMMARY This patient presented to our hospital with a 3-mo history of dysphagia and *** endoscopy revealed an elevated nodule in the distal esophagus 1.6 cm above the GEJ line,without Barrett’s esophagus or involvement of the gastric *** nodule was completely resected by endoscopic submu-cosal dissection(ESD).Pathological examination confirmed diagnosis of intra-mucosal adenocarcinoma mixed with an NEC component,measuring 1.5 ***,both adenocarcinoma and NEC components were positive for P53 with a Ki67 index of 90%;NEC was positive for synaptophysin and ***-generation sequencing of 196 genes demonstrated a novel germline mutation of the ERCC3 gene in the DNA repair pathway and a germline mutation of the RNF43 gene,a common gastric cancer driver gene,in addition to pathogenic somatic mutations in P53 and CHEK2 *** patient was alive without evidence of the disease 36 mo after *** Early adenocarcinoma with an NEC component arising in the distal esophageal side of the GEJ region showed evidence of gastric origin.

Follow-up experimental designs are widely applied to explore the relationship between factors and responses step by step in various fields such as science and engineering. When some additional resources or information become available after the initial design of experiment is carried out, some additional runs and/or factors may be added in the follow-up stage. In this paper, the issue of the uniform row augmented designs and column augmented designs with mixed two-, three-and four-level is investigated. The uniformity of augmented designs is discussed under the wrap-around L2-discrepancy. Some lower bounds of wrap-around L2-discrepancy for the augmented designs are obtained, which can be used to assess uniformity of augmented design. Numerical results show that augmented designs have high efficiency, which have low discrepancy and close to the proposed lower bounds.

Both morphology and composition have a great influence on the properties and functions of materials,however,how to rational modulate both of them to achieve their synergistic effects has been a longstanding ***,we demonstrate a competitive assembling strategy for the construction of metal-free graphite carbon nitride(CN)homojunctions in which morphology and composition can be easily controlled simultaneously by only changing the ratio of assembly raw *** homojunctions are comprised of porous nanotubular S-doped CN(SCN)grafted with CN nanovesicles,which are derived from thermal polycondensation of melamine-thiocyanuric acid(M-T)/melamine-cyanuric acid(M-C)supramolecular hybrid *** unique architecture and component engineering endows the novel SCN-CN homojunction with abundant active sites,enhanced visible trapping ability,and intimate interface *** a result,the synthesized SCN-CN homojunctions demonstrate high photocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution and pollutant *** developed strategy opens up intriguing opportu-nities for the rational construction of intricate metal-free heterostructures with controllable architecture and interfacial contact for applications in energy-related fields.
