The rise in breast cancer diagnoses among Chinese women has necessitated the use of X-ray breast screening,which carries a radiation *** study aimed to provide a dosimetry protocol for the Chinese female population to replace the traditional standard that utilizes simplified breast models,for the accurate estimation of the mean glandular dose of a patient undergoing digital breast tomosynthesis(DBT).The first set of detailed Chinese female breast models and representative breast parameters was *** backscatter radiation and computational efficiency,we improved the combination of these models and the Chinese reference adult female whole-body voxel *** acquisition for four commercial DBT systems that are widely employed in China was simulated using the Monte Carlo method to obtain the normalized glandular dose coefficients of DBT(D_(gN)^(DBT))and the glandular depth dose(D_(g)^(dep)(z))for different breast characteristics and X-ray *** calculated a series of D_(gN)^(DBT) values for breasts with different percentage mass glandularities(5%,25%,50%,75%,and 100%)and compressed breast thicknesses(2,3,4,5,6,and 7 cm)at various tube potentials(25,28,30,32,35,and 49 kV)and target/filter combinations(W/Rh,W/Al,Mo/Mo,Rh/Rh,and Rh/Ag).The parameter dependence of the breast characteristics and beam conditions on D_(gN)^(DBT) in detailed breast models was *** D_(gN)^(DBT) results were 14.6-51.0%lower than those of the traditional dosimetry standard in *** difference in D_(gN)^(DBT) was mainly due to a decrease in the depth of the main energy deposition area caused by the glandular distribution along the depth *** results obtained in this study may be used to improve breast dosimetry in China and provide more detailed information on risk assessment during DBT.

Ferroelectric materials hold great promise in photocatalytic water splitting because their built-in electric field induced by the depolarization field can fulfill the separation of photogenerated ***,a number of intrinsic charged vacancy defects are simultaneously generated to screen the depolarized field for stabilizing the crystal structure,always resulting in severe recombination of photogenerated carriers and thus poor overall water splitting ***,we proposed a strategy to promote the separation and transport of photogenerated carriers of ferroelectric photocatalysts by adjusting the ferroelectric polarization and altering the coordination environment of elements to reduce the defect ***,we prepared a series of Ta-doped PbTiO3with low Pb(VPb) and O（VO） vacancy concentrations by reducing the polarization intensity and strengthening the Pb–O *** Ta-doped PbTiO3shows efficient charge separation and greatly enhanced photocatalytic overall water splitting activity with the assistance of *** work highlights the importance of regulating ferroelectric polarization and vacancy defect concentration by the doping strategy in charge separation for photocatalytic water splitting.

Though there are numerous intrinsic merits of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),low charge separation efficiency has imposed heavy restrictions on their photocatalytic ***,in situ porphyrin ligand substitution,as a strategy for improving the charge separation efficiency and increasing the amounts of active sites,has been designed and realized in a Hf-biphenyl dicarboxylic acid(BPDC)***,a size and geometry matched meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin(TCPP)ligand was selected and doped into Hf-BPDC MOF by forming coordinating bonds with Hf centers,forming dualligand Hf-BPDC-TCPP *** resultant Hf-BPDC-TCPP MOF showed significantly improved activity and chemical stability in the photocatalytic H_(2)generation(261μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1))and tetracycline(TC)degradation reactions(95.8%),which was 48 and 1.47 folds higher than that of the Hf-BPDC *** and electrochemical studies revealed that the introduction of porphyrin ligand could generate a stronger internal electric field for boosting the charge separation and transfer,increase the specific surface area for providing more active sites,and narrow the band gap to enhance the visible light *** in situ ligand substitution method provides a promising approach to build a tunable platform for constructing high-performance MOF photocatalysts.

The lack of effective charge transfer driving force and channel limits the electron directional migration in nanoclusters(NC)-based heterostructures,resulting in poor photocatalytic ***,a Z-scheme NC-based heterojunction(Pt1Ag28-BTT/CoP,BTT=1,3,5-benzenetrithiol)with strong internal electric field is constructed via interfacial Co-S bond,which exhibits an absolutely superiority in photocatalytic performance with 24.89 mmol·h^(−1)·g−1 H_(2)production rate,25.77%apparent quantum yield at 420 nm,and~100%activity retention in stability,compared with Pt1Ag28-BDT/CoP(BDT=1,3-benzenedithiol),Ag29-BDT/CoP,and *** enhanced catalytic performance is contributed by the dual modulation strategy of inner core and outer shell of NC,wherein,the center Pt single atom doping regulates the band structure of NC to match well with CoP,builds internal electric field,and then drives photogenerated electrons steering;the accurate surface S modification promotes the formation of Co-S atomic-precise interface channel for further high-efficient Z-scheme charge directional *** work opens a new avenue for designing NC-based heterojunction with matchable band structure and valid interfacial charge transfer.

Thermal analysis plays a key role in the online inspection of molten iron *** solidification process of molten iron can be reflected by thermal analysis curves,and silicon is one of important elements affecting the solidification of molten *** this study,FeSi75 was added in one chamber of the dual-chamber sample cup,and the influences of FeSi75 additive on the characteristic values of thermal analysis curves and vermiculating rate were *** results show that with the increase of FeSi75,the start temperature of austenite formation TALfirstly decreases and then increases,but the start temperature of eutectic growth TSEF,the lowest eutectic temperature TEU,temperature at maximum eutectic reaction rate TEM,and highest eutectic temperature TERkeep always an *** temperature at final solidification point TEShas little *** FeSi75 additive has different influences on the vermiculating rate of molten iron with different vermiculation,and the vermiculating rate increases for lower vermiculation molten iron while decreases for higher *** to the thermal analysis curves obtained by a dual-chamber sample cup with 0.30wt.%FeSi75 additive in one chamber,the vermiculating rate of molten iron can be evaluated by comparing the characteristic values of these *** time differenceΔtERcorresponding to the highest eutectic temperature TERhas a closer relationship with the vermiculating rate,and a parabolic regression curve between the time differenceΔtERand vermiculating rateηhas been obtained within the range of 65%to 95%,which is suitable for the qualified melt.

Investigation of pore structure alteration and permeability enhancement of shale matrix by supercritical water treatment after hydraulic fracturing

Shale gas reservoirs are unconventional tight gas reservoirs, in which horizontal wells and hydraulic fracturing are required to achieve commercial development. The fracture networks created by hydraulic fracturing can increase the drainage area extensively to enhance shale gas recovery. However, large volumes of fracturing fluid that is difficult to flow back to the surface and remained in the shale formation, will inevitably lead to damages of the shale formations and limit the effectiveness of *** water(SCW) treatment after hydraulic fracturing is a new method to enhance shale gas recovery by using appropriate heat treatment methods to the specific formation to convert the retained fracturing fluid into a supercritical state(at temperatures in excess of 373.946°C and pressures in excess of 22.064 MPa). An experiment was conducted to simulate the reaction between shale and SCW, and the capacity of SCW treatment to enhance the permeability of the shale was evaluated by measuring the response of the shale porosity and permeability on SCW treatment. The experimental results show that the shale porosity and permeability increase by 213.43% and 2198.37%, respectively. The pore structure alteration and permeability enhancement of the shale matrix were determined by analyzing the changes in pore structure and mineral composition after SCW treatment. The mechanisms that affect pore structure and mineral composition include oxidative catalysis decomposition of organic matters and reducing minerals, acid-catalyzed decomposition of carbonate minerals and feldspar minerals, hydrothermal catalysis induced fracture extension and cementation weakening induced fracture *** treatment converts harm into a benefit by reducing the intrusion of harmful substances into the shale formation, which will broaden the scope and scale of shale formation stimulation.

Efficient and precise genomic deletion shows promise for investigating the function of proteins in plant research and enhancing agricultural *** this study,we tested the PRIME-del(Pdel)strategy using a pair of prime editing guide RNAs(pegRNAs)that targeted opposite DNA strands and achieved an average deletion efficiency of 55.8%for 60 bp fragment deletions at six endogenous ***,as high as 84.2%precise deletion efficiency was obtained for a 2000 bp deletion at the OsGS1 site in transgenic rice *** add the bases that were unintentionally deleted between the two nicking sequences,we used the Pdel/Syn strategy,which introduced multiple synonymous base mutations in the region that had to be patched in the RT *** Pdel/Syn strategy achieved an average of 58.1%deletion efficiency at six endogenous targets,which was higher than the Pdel *** strategies presented in this study contribute to achieving more accurate and flexible deletions in transgenic rice plants.
